Use Story Keys to Unlock
To unlock Albedo's Story Quest, you need to use story keys. You can obtain Story Keys by doing daily commissions and keep a maximum amount of 3 keys. You can unlock the story by heading to the Quest page of Menu.

The Rumored Alchemist
| 1 | Go to Mondstadt's alchemy store |

1. How To Find Albedo's Tracks
Once you've reached the destination area, use Elemental Sight to find the footprints of Albedo. Follow this track until the cutscene starts.
1. How To Deal With Sheer Cold In Subzero Climate
When you enter the Dragonspine area, your characters will continuously accumulate Sheer Cold. When it reaches its limit, your characters will start losing their HP. Use bonfires and other sources of heat to diminish Sheer Cold.

1. How To Unlock Statue Of The Seven
While you head to the test site, you might encounter Statue Of The Seven surrounded by giant ice. In order to unlock this, you need to destroy the ice with special item called Scarlet Quartz. Check the guide below for more details.

5. How To Drink The Potion
Once you've obtained the Experimental Potion from the desk, open your inventory and check the adventure item category to find the potion. Use it to proceed the event.

You'll need to check the shelf and alchemy table by using you Elemental Sight. Check the table below for the locations of two lost items.

The Third Experiment: Life
| 1 | Head to the location of the next experiment by climbing up the mountain |

| 2 | Reach the location that Albedo designated within 70 seconds |

The Final Experiment: Withering Glory
| 1 | Head to the location of the intelligence test |

| 2 | Solve the nearby mechanism |
| 3 | Return to the center and activate the device |
| 4 | Investigate the area behind the drain |
| 5 | Return to the campsite and talk to Albedo |
2. How To Solve The Mechanisms
There are 2 mechanisms you'd have to solve and the one located to the south can be solved easily by simply finding all red phantoms.
To solve the mechanism located to the south, you'll need to get close to the red phantoms and light up the tower. The phantom circle around the towers and light up the tower nearby. The light disappears after certain time passes. You'll need to release the red phantom in best timing so that all towers will light up simultaneously.
