What Is An Oculus / Oculi?

A Collectible Adventure Item

Oculus / Oculi is an adventure item and one of the major items to collect in Genshin Impact. These Oculus are collected as an offertory to the Statue of Seven.

Different Oculus Element Per Nation

Each nation in Teyvat has its own Oculus with the same element as its archon and they are all scattered to their respective region, waiting for us to collect them. You can check the table below to know the total oculus per region.

Retain 1 Oculi After Reaching The Max Level Of The Statue Of The Seven

You will be left with one oculus per nation after you have reached the maximum level of the Statue of the Seven.

Each Oculus has a unique and distinctive design that fully represents their nation. You can check the images in the table below to see the designs of each oculus per region.

How To Get Oculus / Oculi

Get Through Exploration

You can get these oculi upon exploring each nation and get them through different areas and situations, for example, get an oculi from cliffs, above the trees, beside the waterfall, etc.

Oculi Also Appears On Mini Map

Upon searching the certain nation, you will also see in your mini-map on the upper left side of the screen that there is a nearby Oculus.

Use The Resonance Stone

A Resonance Stone is a consumable gadget that can be used to locate a nearby Oculus. This Resonance Stone is available on every nation.

Solve Puzzles & Get An Oculi

Some Oculus can be found and obtained from solving puzzles. There are some instances where in a certain puzzle area an oculi is/are present, but make sure to solve the puzzle first to get it.

Complete World Quests & Get An Oculus

Some areas around Teyvat can be accessed after completing certain world quests, and these areas also contain some Oculus.

How To Use The Oculus / Oculi?

Geo & Anemo Increases Stamina

One of the rewards upon leveling up the Statue of the Seven in Liyue and Mondstadt will be an increase in your Stamina. So make sure to collect all of the Geoculus and Anemoculus and offer it to their respective statues to gain an additional Stamina!

Get A Constellation

Leveling up the Statue of Seven will reward you as well with a Constellation of the Traveler. It is also recommended that you prioritize leveling up the Statue of the Seven if you are building your Traveler.

Get A Shrine Of Depth Key

You can also get one (1) key of the Shrine of Depths as one of the rewards for leveling up the Statue of the Seven. The Shrine of Depth key will depend on the statue's nation.

Obtain A Stone Of Remembrance

For the Liyue nation, you can also obtain a Stone Of Remembrance as one of the rewards of Liyue's Statue of the Seven for collecting Geoculus and leveling up their statue. These stones can be used in the Nine Pillars of Peace gimmick in Cuijue Slope, Liyue.
