What Is An Oculus / Oculi?

A Collectible Adventure Item

An Oculus (plural: Oculi) is a collectible adventure item in Genshin Impact. These are offered to the Statues of the Seven in each nation to obtain rewards.

Different Oculus Element Per Nation

Each nation in Teyvat has its own type of Oculus, which corresponds to the element of its Archon. They are scattered throughout their respective regions for players to find. Check the table below for the total number of Oculi per region.

Retain 1 Oculi After Reaching The Max Level Of The Statue Of The Seven

You will have one extra Oculus per nation after reaching the maximum level for each Statue of the Seven.

How To Get Oculus / Oculi

Get Through Exploration

You can find Oculi by exploring each nation. They are hidden in various locations, such as on cliffs, on top of trees, or beside waterfalls.

Oculi Also Appear On The Mini-Map

While exploring, a star icon will appear on your mini-map when an Oculus is nearby.

Use The Resonance Stone

A Resonance Stone is a consumable gadget that is used to locate a nearby Oculus. Each nation has its own corresponding Resonance Stone.

Solve Puzzles & Get An Oculi

Some Oculi can only be obtained after solving a nearby puzzle.

Complete World Quests & Get An Oculus

Completing certain World Quests can unlock new areas, which may also contain Oculi.

How To Use The Oculus / Oculi?

Geo & Anemo Oculi Increase Stamina

One of the main rewards for leveling up the Statues of the Seven in Liyue and Mondstadt is an increase to your maximum Stamina. Make sure to collect all Geoculus and Anemoculus and offer them to their respective statues to get more Stamina!

Get A Constellation

Leveling up the Statues of the Seven will also reward you with a Constellation for the Traveler. Prioritize this if you are building your Traveler.

Get A Shrine Of Depth Key

You can also get a Shrine of Depths Key as a reward for leveling up a Statue of the Seven. The key you receive will correspond to the nation of the statue.

Obtain A Stone Of Remembrance

In Liyue, you can also obtain a Stone of Remembrance from the Statues of the Seven. These stones are used for the Nine Pillars of Peace World Quest in Cuijue Slope.
