What Is Stamina?

Gauge Used For Battle & Movement

Vital Gauge For Movement & Combat

Stamina is one of your most important resources in Genshin. This stamina doesn't refer to a resource that limits your daily play time (that would be Resin), but is instead a resource which allows you to perform certain combat and movement actions. It is expended and then recharges naturally over time.

Actions That Require Stamina

  • Dashing
  • Swimming
  • Climbing
  • Gliding
  • Charged Attacks

Don't Run Out Of Stamina While Gliding!

Falling from a high place can sometimes (depending on the height) result in instant death. For this reason, it's really important to watch your stamina carefully before you jump off a cliff!

TIP If you run out of stamina while gliding, you can press the attack button to do a plunging attack OR open the map and warp somewhere to prevent dying!

How To Increase Max Stamina

1. Gather Anemoculus On The Map

Anemoculus are special hidden items on the map that only show up when you get near them. They are often in hard to find locations, so you'll have to expend a bit of effort to get them all.

Use Our Anemoculus Map & Checker

Use This Helpful Anemoculus Map & Checker!

Anemoculus can be difficult to track down, so we've put together a helpful map tool you can use to track their locations! Note that Geoculus are the Liyue equivalents and will also grant you stamina!

2. Bring Collected Anemoculus To Statue of The Seven

スタミナ上限アップ

After collecting the orbs, bring them over to the Statue of The Seven to get a boost to the Statue's level, giving you benefits like increased max stamina. Remember that the tower needs to match the orbs! Geoculus are offered up to Towers of the Seven in Liyue, while Anemoculus are given to Towers in Mondstadt!

The amount of required Oculi per level will continue to rise after each submission.

Benefits To Increasing Stamina

Faster Movement

Genshin will require you to climb cliffs and glide to reach a lot of places, so the more stamina you have, the more places you can go! Also, having higher stamina will reduce your risk of death from falling while gliding!

Easier Combat Stamina Management

Using Charged Attacks will use up your stamina. If you combine this with running (which you'll do a lot of in battle), your stamina expenditure can be quite high. You will always want to have as much stamina as possible!

Anemoculus Finding Tips

Look For Stars On The Minimap

Oculus Stars

4-pronged stars on your minimap will indicate that an Oculus (both Anemo and Geo) are in your vicinity! This is your biggest hint to finding these orbs.

Look Vertically

When you find a star mark on your minimap, make sure to check all levels of verticality for the oculi. It could be below or above you - orbs up high in trees aren't uncommon!

Glide And Climb

滑空で入手

When in doubt on how to get to a certain floating Oculus, try climbing and gliding! Most orbs can be reached by climbing up to a high point and gliding over to your destination.

How To Use Less Stamina

Use Anemogranum

風の種

Miraculous Anemogranum are small floating, glowing creatures that, if you run into them, will reduce your stamina consumption! If you grab 3 of them or use an Anemo skill on them, a wind current will spawn and your stamina consumption buff will disappear, so be careful.

Stamina Food

It's also possible to recover your stamina by eating certain food! This can be useful if you're doing timed events that require a lot of stamina use in a short period of time.
