Best Teams for Chasca
Chasca Works Best with Multi-Element Teams
| Team | Rating Description |
|---|---|
| ▼ Melt Team | ★★★★★ - Utilizes Cryo and Pyro teammates to enable Chasca to trigger Melt by ensuring she has Cryo and Pyro shells or bullets. - Has the highest DPS potential at the cost of splitting field time with Mavuika. - Escoffier and Citlali offer strong Cryo application that lets Chasca and Mavuika trigger true Melt (Pyro on Cryo) consistently. |
| ▼ Lunar-Charged Team | ★★★★☆ - Chasca can act as a convincing On-Field DPS for the strong Ineffa and Columbina pairing that can deal a good amount of Off-Field damage just by themselves. This leads to the team being her second best option by virtue of damage alone. - Chasca's personal damage takes a backseat due to her not really benefitting from Columbina's buffs, but adding a Pyro character to the team, like Durin, does let her at least trigger Vaporize or Overload occasionally, which can help boost her contribution to the team's DPS. |
| ▼ Reverse Vaporize Team | ★★★☆☆ - Hydro and Pyro characters, like the Melt team, similarly allow Chasca to have Hydro and Pyro shells to produce Vaporize reactions. - Most Vaporize Chasca teams want to run two Pyro characters (instead of two Hydro characters) due to how Hydro and Pyro interact with each other. - Vaporize with Hydro on Pyro has the stronger damage multiplier versus the opposite. At the moment there isn't a Pyro character that can apply enough Pyro for Chasca to consistently access the x2 multiplier from the stronger Vaporize, making this a weaker Vaporize team and therefore worse than her top two comps in terms of DPS potential. |
| ▼ Vapemelt Team | ★★★☆☆ - With Cryo, Pyro and Hydro teammates, Chasca's bullet selection allows for Vaporize, Melt and Frozen reactions to happen intermittently. - Highlights Chasca's Bullet mechanics that make use of Swirls to trigger and occasionally spread different reactions all at once. |
| ▼ Overvape Team | ★★★☆☆ - Like her Vapemelt team, this setup takes advantage of the power of several different reactions triggering consecutively. - Electro-Charged, Vaporize and Overload are the primary reactions involved here. - Since Chasca's attacks track enemies, she naturally offsets the knockback effect of Overload. |
Chasca's Bullet conversion mechanic during her Nightsoul state allows her to work with supports and even other DPS characters to deal non-Anemo Damage. However, she works best with Sub-DPS characters to trigger more reactions and contribute to the team's damage.

Note! | Despite having similar setups and rotations, Chasca's Melt team will deal better damage than her Vaporize team due to it being a true Melt (Pyro on Cryo) team thanks to Citlali's strong application. |
|---|
This team has some of the highest DPS ceiling for a baseline C0 Chasca, assuming you split the field time between her and Mavuika.
Rotation Of Melt Team
| No. | Procedure |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start the Rotation with Mavuika's Skill. |
| 2 | Swap to Bennett. Use his Skill (tap), then Burst. |
| 3 | Switch to Citlali to deploy her Skill then Burst. |
| 4 | Field Mavuika, then perform your preferred Mavuika combo. |
| 5 | Switch to Chasca and use her Skill then hold the Attack button to start releasing her Bullets. |
| 6 | (Optional) Use Chasca's Burst before repeating the rotation. |
| 7 | Repeat from Step 1. |
You can also opt to simply use Skill into Burst on Mavuika (to enable the DMG% buff from her Burst), then have Chasca be the sole On-Field DPS.
Substitute Characters
| Character | Sub | Details |
|---|---|---|
Mavuika | Xiangling Durin Pyro Traveler Pyro | - Mavuika is the only real Pyro DPS that you can deal damage with reliably if you have her share field time with Chasca. The alternatives will change the rotation to have Chasca use the majority of the field time instead. - In this case, you'll want to favor Pyro Sub-DPSes or applicators with decent damage contribution. |
Citlali | Escoffier Rosaria Shenhe Diona Layla Cryo | - Citlali's Cryo application with both her Skill and Burst are second-to-none in terms of enabling Mavuika (and other Pyro DPSes) to trigger Melt. Replacing her may cause you to miss out on some Melt triggers on Mavuika if you aren't mindful about your combo. - Escoffier applies a decent amount of Cryo by herself and can be used to substitute Citlali if she isn't part of a Freeze team. - Rosaria should also be serviceable as the sole Cryo applicator in this comp with Mavuika, although limited by her small Burst area. - Other options may feel better to play with other Pyro DPSes, as they let Chasca trigger Melt with a Cryo bullet. |
Bennett | - | - Bennett is hard to replace in Chasca's Melt team (with Mavuika) specifically due to no other support offering the same quality of buffs while simultaneously enabling Pyro resonance and having no Off-Field application to interrupt important reaction triggers. - While double Element teams are usually going to perform weaker for a C0 Chasca, this comp is one of the exceptions to this so long as you have a strong Cryo applicator like Citlali or Escoffier. |
Lunar-Charged Team
Team Composition & Equipment
| Character | Weapon Artifacts & Stats |
|---|---|
![]() Chasca | Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage Obsidian Codex x4Main ATK% / ATK% / CRIT DMG Sub 1. CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG 2. ATK% 3. Energy Recharge or Elemental Mastery |

![]() Durin | Athame Artis A Day Carved From Rising Winds x4Main ATK% / ATK% or Pyro DMG Bonus/ CRIT Rate or DMG Sub 1. Energy Recharge 2. CRIT Rate or DMG 3. ATK% |
The Ineffa and Columbina core can be complemented by a lot of characters without strict teammate preferences while still outputting a substantial amount of Off-Field damage. Chasca is one among the many On-Field characters that can slot them into her team to find good results.
Durin is there to slightly increase Chasca's damage contribution to the team's DPS by allowing her to occasionally trigger Overload and Vaporize, but he's very replaceable in this setup.
Rotation Of Lunar-Charged Team
| No. | Procedure |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start with Ineffa. Deploy her Skill, then Burst if it's available. |
| 2 | Switch to Columbina. Use her Burst followed by Skill. |
| 3 | Swap to Durin. Skill twice to enter his Confirmation of Purity mode, then Burst. |
| 4 | Switch to Chasca and use her Skill then hold the Attack button to start releasing her Bullets. |
| 6 | (Optional) Use Chasca's Burst before repeating the rotation. |
| 7 | Repeat from Step 1. |
Substitute Characters

|---|---|---|
Durin | Mavuika Bennett Pyro Traveler Pyro | - Durin's RES shred from his Confirmation of Purity mode benefits both the Ineffa-Columbina pair and Chasca, but he can be substituted with any other Pyro support or Sub-DPS. - For Mavuika, it's probably less ideal to split her field time in a pure Lunar-Charged team. |
Columbina | Aino Yelan Xingqiu Furina Hydro | - Columbina's buffs are a big reason why Ineffa's Off-Field Lunar-Charged DPS has gained popularity. Losing her will cause Ineffa's damage to decrease, but you can still make do with any other Hydro applicator since her baseline performance, even without Columbina, is still decent. - DMG% supports like Yelan and Furina won't get a lot of mileage due to Lunar-Charged not benefiting from their buffs, but you can still use them here if they aren't occupied in other teams. |
Ineffa | Iansan Fischl Ororon Electro | - Replacing Ineffa will significantly lower the total DPS potential of the team since she makes up the majority of the damage. The alternatives are still viable, just won't be as potent. - The team will remain a Lunar-Charged team even without Ineffa so long as you have Columbina, who also enables the conversion of Electro-Charged to Lunar-Charged. Not having them both causes the team to become an Overvape team instead. ▼ Jump to Overvape team setup. |
Reverse Vaporize Team
Team Composition & Equipment
| Character | Weapon Artifacts & Stats |

Golden Troupe x4└This is for Furina's personal damage. Equip Tenacity of the Millelith instead if you want to buff Chasca or Mavuika even more. Main HP% or Energy Recharge / HP% or Hydro DMG Bonus / CRIT Rate or DMG Sub 1. Energy Recharge 2. CRIT Rate or DMG 3. HP% |
![]() Bennett | Aquila Favonia└ You can use Skyward Blade if you're having trouble using his Burst every rotation. Noblesse Oblige x4Main Energy Recharge / HP% / Healing Bonus, HP% or CRIT Rate (for Favonius Sword) Sub 1. Energy Recharge 2. HP% 3. CRIT Rate (for Favonius Sword) |
![]() Mavuika | A Thousand Blazing Suns Obsidian Codex x4 Main ATK% or Elemental Mastery / Pyro DMG Bonus / CRIT Rate or DMG Sub 1. CRIT Rate or DMG 2. ATK% or Elemental Mastery (EM) |
Note! | Despite having similar setups and rotations, Chasca's Vaporize team is generally weaker than her Melt team due to them being mostly Reverse Vaporize (Pyro on Hydro) setups, which has a lower multiplier than the opposite. |
|---|
At C0, it's best to avoid including more than 1 Hydro teammate due to Chasca not benefitting from Hydro Resonance (as an ATK-scaling DPS), as well as double Hydro significantly lowering Chasca's chances of triggering true Vaporize (Hydro on Pyro) due to her Bullet mechanics and the fact that there isn't a Pyro Support in the game with application equivalent to Citlali's.
Like the Melt team, this Vaporize comp has better damage potential if you split the field time between Chasca and Mavuika.
Rotation Of Vaporize Team
| No. | Procedure |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start the rotation with Furina. Use her Skill, then Burst. You can dash after her Skill to cancel the long animation. |
| 2 | Swap to Mavuika. Use her Skill. |
| 3 | Switch to Bennett to use his Skill (tap) then Burst. |
You can also opt into simply using Skill into Burst on Mavuika (to enable the DMG% buff from her Burst), then have Chasca be the sole On-Field DPS.

The alternatives will change the rotation to have Chasca use the majority of the field time instead. - In this case, you'll want to favor Pyro Sub-DPSes or applicators with decent damage contribution. |
Furina | Mona Yelan Hydro | - Furina's DMG% buff can be substituted with Mona's or Yelan's, though you aren't able to trigger Yelan's coordinated attack with Chasca due to the lack of Normal Attacks. - Other Hydro applicators are serviceable, but you'll generally want one that can provide some measure of buffs. |
Bennett | - | - Bennett is hard to replace in Chasca's Vaporize team (with Mavuika) specifically due to no other support offering the same quality of buffs while simultaneously enabling Pyro resonance and having no Off-Field application to interrupt important reaction triggers. - Double Pyro is generally more preferable for a C0 Chasca Reverse Vaporize team due to how Pyro and Hydro interact with each other (i.e, how much of the element is left after the reaction) coupled with Chasca's Bullet mechanics. |
Vapemelt Team
Team Composition & Equipment
| Character | Weapon Artifacts & Stats |
|---|---|
![]() Chasca | Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage Obsidian Codex x4Main ATK% / ATK% / CRIT DMG Sub 1. CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG 2. ATK% 3. Energy Recharge or Elemental Mastery |

Main HP% or Energy Recharge / HP% or Hydro DMG Bonus / CRIT Rate or DMG Sub 1. Energy Recharge 2. CRIT Rate or DMG 3. HP% |
This team is the type of comp you'd want to run if you want Chasca's gameplay and personal damage to shine, since she's placed in a team that will typically include Off-Field supports aimed at buffing her DPS. Her Bullet mechanics, paired with how the Swirl reaction works, is what enables the intermittent Vaporize and Melt triggers.
Rotation Of Vapemelt Team
| No. | Procedure |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start with Furina. Deploy her Skill then Burst. You can dash after her Skill to cancel the animation. |
| 2 | Switch to Bennett. Use his Skill (tap), then Burst. |
| 3 | Use Citlali's Skill, then her Burst. |
| 4 | Switch to Chasca and use her Skill then hold the Attack button to start releasing her Bullets. |
| 5 | (Optional) Use Chasca's Burst before repeating the rotation. |
| 6 | Repeat from Step 1. |
Substitute Characters
| Character | Sub | Details |
|---|---|---|
Citlali | Escoffier Rosaria Shenhe Diona Layla Cryo | - Citlali's Cryo application is unmatched for triggering Melts, but for Chasca's Vapemelt team, any other Cryo with decent application and/or some usable buff can be a decent replacement. |
Furina | Mona Yelan Hydro | - The Hydro slot in the team should ideally contribute both Hydro application and buffing value, but having either of the two can still make them a viable substitute. |
Bennett | Pyro Traveler Xiangling Durin Pyro | - Bennett's ATK% buff is hard to truly replace with a simple Off-Field Pyro support, but if your Bennett is occupied in another team, you can still make do with whichever available Pyro support or Sub-DPS you have on-hand, though someone who can also contribute some buffing power is preferable. |

Like the Vapemelt team, Chasca's Overvape team pairs her with complementary supports that are built to enhance Chasca's performance as the sole On-Field DPS. In the Overvape variation, it utilizes Electro-Charged, Overload and (Reverse) Vaporize reactions, which have a good base synergy thanks to the existence of Hydro.
Rotation Of Overvape Team
| No. | Procedure |
|---|---|
| 1 | Start with Furina and use her Skill then Burst. You can dash after her Skill to cancel the animation. |
| 2 | Switch to Bennett. Use his Skill (tap), followed by his Burst. |
| 3 | Deploy Iansan's Skill. Normal Attack (x1) after, then end her combo with her Burst. |
Furina | Mona Yelan Hydro | - Furina is generally the better Hydro support for Chasca thanks to the DMG% buff and her personal damage contribution, but you can still make do with whichever Hydro support available to you, with Yelan and Mona being the better options overall. |
Bennett | Pyro Traveler Xiangling Durin Pyro | - As stated, Bennett's ATK% buff is invaluable for Chasca (like other ATK% scalers), but this team setup is flexible enough to allow other Pyro Sub-DPSes or supports to be viable, albeit with worse results. |
Iansan | Fischl Ororon Electro | - Iansan's ATK% buff when paired with Bennett's makes up for a pretty significant DMG% increase for ATK% DPSes, Chasca included. The substitutes will be noticeable downgrades, though still viable in the worst case scenario. - Fischl paired alongside Durin with their Hexerei talents enabled lets the team have a decent amount of ATK% and RES Shred buffs. - Ororon's AoE Electro application naturally synergizes well in team setups that include the Electro-Charged reaction. |
