What Is Moonfall Silver?

| Detail | A silver crystal as pure and pristine as moonlight. It possesses almost perfect elemental affinity. In the legacy of the Frostmoon Scions, these crystals were born five hundred years ago alongside the Moon Maiden, and were believed by the Moonchanter at the time to be a gift from the moon, hence the name "Moonfall Silver". However, in older documents written by Snezhnayan chroniclers, the descendants of the golden realm were already using secret silver woven by the Frostmoon thousands of years in the past. The threads that connect these two tales are unclear — the only certain thing is that these crystals make excellent elemental conductors in the eyes of Nod-Krai's craftspeople. |

Moonfall Silver is Found on Hiisi Island
Moonfall Silver is a local specialty of Hiisi Island in Nod-Krai, meaning you cannot gather it naturally anywhere else. Several of them can be found along the path near the Frostmoon Enclave in small groups. There are several more circling the waypoint found at the Light-Bathed Platform. The rest can be found in an underground area that you can access via a closed cave opening on the west-most island. This opening is currently inaccessible at first, and it may be due to being tied to Main Quest or World Quest completion.
To maximize your Moonfall Silver gathering, consider these strategies:

Utilize Farming Route for Moonfall Silver
Moonfall Silvers are primarily located around Hiisi Island in Nod-Krai and since going to the areas can be time-consuming, it's recommended to utilize a Farming Route for faster and more efficient material gathering.
Use Characters with Exploration Utility Passive
For easier farming, it is recommended to use characters that reveals the location of Specialties in Nod-Krai. By just putting them in your team, the locations of Moonfall Silver will be shown in your mini-map which makes farming for the specialty easier.
Passive Also Shows Location of Other Specialties
The character passive that shows specific specialty locations on the mini-map will locate all of the specialties found in the surrounding area. This is not limited to Moonfall Silvers.
Moonfall Silver Respawns Every 48 Hours
After gathering all the available Moonfall Silver in your world, they will eventually respawn after 48 hours or an equivalent to two 2 Server Time resets.

There is a chest along the coast of Hiisi Island that gives 9 Moonfall Silvers once you unlock it. It's tied to a Nod-Krai puzzle involving the Kuuvahki Dewdrops and the nearby Unipolar Crystonite.
Chest Puzzle Walkthrough
| 1 |  Attack the Atapetra Conch to enter an empowered state. |

| 2 |  Position yourself so that you're able to carry the Kuuhvahki Dewdrop towards the nearby Crystonite. |
| 3 |  Attack another conch near the Shrine of Depths, then pick up the red Kuuhvahki Dewdrop nearby. |
| 4 |  Align yourself with the Crystonite near the Shrine of Depths so you're able to throw the red Dewdrop towards it. |
Consider Visiting Other Player's World

Farming Route For Moonfall Silver
| This farming route covers only 56 of the 70 available Moonfall Silvers in the overworld since they're the easiest to access. The rest are in a location that is inaccessible until you progress through the Archon Quest "A Dance of Snowy Tides and Hoarfrost Groves" in Nod-Krai. └ To get the 168 Moonfall Silver required to ascend a character to Lv. 90, you'll have to go through this route three times. |
1st Route: Locations and Detailed Directions
| 1 |  Head south from the Frostmoon Enclave Waypoint. |

| 2 |  Look below the cliff to find the 2nd gathering spot. Collect and continue further south. |
| 3 |  2 items ahead. Head west after. |
| 4 |  2 more in this location. Proceed further west. |
| 5 |  Collect the one item in front of the cave opening, then enter the opening. |
| 6 |  You'll find a cluster of 8 right after entering the cave. |
2nd Route: Locations and Detailed Directions
| 1 |  Head north from the Hiisi Island Waypoint. |

Hiisi Island Underground Area
The Moonfall Silver located in the underground area west of Hiisi Island is only accessibly after progressing through the Archon Quest. Since there are 14 Moonfall Silvers in that area, make sure to progress through the Archon Quest if you want to collect every Moonfall Silver available in the overworld.
