Subdetection Unit Locations
Subdetection Unit Can Be Found At Liffey Region & Fontaine Research Area
Subdetection Units can only be found in the Northern Region of Fontaine, Liffey Region and Fontaine Research Institute Region. Several clusters of these units are scattered across the area, with some locked behind World Quests. Most of the easy to access Subdetection Units can be collected around the New Fontaine Research Institute and the Waypoint near Experimental Field Generator.Each unit yields 1 Subdetection Unit.
To maximize your Subdetection Unit gathering, consider these strategies:
- Utilize Farming Route for Subdetection Unit
- Use Characters with Exploration Utility Passive
- Subdetection Unit respawns every 48 hours
- Consider visiting other player's World
Utilize Farming Route for Subdetection Unit
Subdetection Units are plentiful along shorelines and within the waters of the Northern Region in Fontaine, but they are not in a specific location. Going to the gathering areas one-by-one to harvest them may be inefficient. It is recommended to utilize the Farming Route for a faster and more efficient farming.
Use Characters with Exploration Utility Passive
For easier Farming, it is recommended to use characters that reveals the location of Specialties in Fontaine. By just putting them in your team, the locations of Subdetection Units will be shown in your mini-map which makes farming for the item easier.
Passive also Shows Location of Other Specialties
The character passive that shows specialties in the mini-map shows all of the specialties in the location. This is not limited to Subdetection Units.
Subdetection Unit Respawns every 48 Hours
After getting the Subdetection Units in your world, they will only respawn after 48 hours or 2 Server Time resets after.
Consider Visiting other Player's World
You can also get Subdetection Units by visiting other player's world. This is great for getting large amount of Subdetection Unit. Make sure to chat your intentions to the World owner first! You can also use the Item Exchange Thread below:

Subdetection Unit Locations - Mont Esus East
Route 1 - Mont Esus East
| 1 |  From the waypoint, head southwest to the waterfalls. |

| 3 |  Inside the ruins, there is a shelf you can find one Subdetection Unit. |
| 4 |  Inside the ruins, at east get one Subdetection unit close to the green box.After getting, head northeast to the cliff. |
| 5 |  From the cliff, glide down and head to the Flame torch. |
| 6 |  Around the Flame torch, get 2 Subdetection Unit. |
| 7 |  Head north from the Flame Torch, head to the small island. |
| 8 |  At the small island, get one. It is close to the gimmick. |
Route 2 - Mont Esus East
| 1 |  At the south of Statue of Seven, get 2 Subdetection Unit.Head to the corner of the wall. |

Route 2 - Fontaine Research Institute West
| 1 |  From the waypoint, head northeast to the mountain. |

| 4 |  Head north to the ruins. |
| 5 |  From the ruins, go to the gear by the entrance to get one piece. |
Route 3 - Fontaine Research Institute West
| 1 |  From Waypoint, head southeast to the goal. |

| 4 |  Head to the slope southeast. |
| 5 |  At the branching road, follow the path south to the small rubble. |

| 7 |  Head to the cliff north to find a building. Follow that building. |
| 8 |  At the pillar beside the stairs, get one.Climb the stairs. |
| 9 |  After climbing, you will find one at the corner.After getting the Subdetection Unit, head outside. |
| 10 |  Go to the ladder right beside the entrance and get 2 Subdetection Unit. |
| 11 |  After climbing the ladder, head right to get one. |
Route 4 - Fontaine Research Institute West
| 1 |  From the waypoint, head south to the broken bridge. |

| 5 |  From behind the ruins, head to the trees and get one. |

Route 1 - Fontaine Research Institute East
| 1 |  Warp and head to the wall that can be seen. |

| 2 |  Climb the broken wall to the second level of the building. |
| 3 |  After climbing, climb a broken wall once again. |
| 4 |  At the edge of the pillar, get one Subdivision Device. |
| 5 |  From southeast, head to the collapse handrail then head down. |
| 6 |  After going down, get one Subdivision Units. After getting, follow the handrail heading south. |
| 7 |  Right beside the gimmick, jump outside the handrail. |
| 8 |  Jump and head to the building and find 2 Subdivision Units. |
| 9 |  At the east, follow the path to the right then move towards the wooden boxes. |
| 10 |  Get 2 Subdetection Unit around the wooden boxes. |
Route 2 - Fontaine Research Institute East
| 1 |  From the waypoint, head to New Fontaine Institute following the North Exit. |

| 3 |  To the Northeast Cliff, head to the ruins. |
| 4 |  Below the ruins, get 2 Subdetection Unit. From the side of the ruins, head north to the slope. |

| 6 |  Right in front of the Shrine Of Depths, there is a cart. You can get one Subdetection Unit there. |
| 7 |  From the bottom of the south cliff, head to the Ruins that you can see. |

| 9 |  Above the gear get one Subdetection Unit. |

| 3 |  After going down, head east to get 2 pieces. After getting, climb the stairs in front. |

| 5 |  Head west to the building that can be seen. |
| 6 |  Pass through the building. |
| 7 |  After exiting the building, head to the stone mountain on the right side. |
| 8 |  Pass by the broken wall. |
| 9 |  Pass the wall, inside the building, you can get 2 Subdivision Unit by the gears. |
Route 2 - Fontaine Research Institute South
| 1 |  From the waypoint, head to the broken bridge then glide at the bridge with a bit of grass growing. |

Route 3 - Fontaine Research Institute South

| 1 |  From the waypoint, head south. Head between the Tree and the ruins. |

| 3 |  After diving, head down then follow the underwater tunnel. |
| 4 |  After passing by the tunnel, follow the main road. |
| 5 |  After following the path, head to the big room. |
| 6 |  At the big room, go right to the ornament. |
| 7 |  By the Ornament, get 2 Subdetection Units. After getting, head to the platform in the middle. |
| 8 |  Head north to right before the broken bridge. |
| 9 |  At the broken bridge, you can see an ornament to the lower left. |
| 10 |  Get 2 Subdetection Unit right in front of the Ornaments. |

| 1 |  At the New Fontaine Research Institute West Waypoint, head Northeast. Afterwards head to the cave. |

| 6 |  At the fork in the road, follow the arrow in the photo. |

| 9 |  Follow the arrow in the photo and ride the Lift |
| 10 |  Drop down the lift and get one Subdetection Unit then follow the path. |
| 11 |  Ride the wind then head above. |

| 13 |  Once you leave the area with a huge space, drop down the hole. |
| 14 |  Get one unit at the area where you dropped then head back. |
| 15 |  After climbing up, head east to the area pointed out by the arrow. |

| 18 |  At the fork Road, head to the Elevator. |
