What Is Scarab?

Scarab Locations
Scarabs are Found All Over the Great Red Sand (Deshret Desert)
The Scarabs are abundant in the Great Red Sand, where they typically lie close to ancient ruins either above or below ground. A large portion of the available Scarabs in game are found among the sands surrounding the Mausoleum of King Deshret, notably in the caves and passages beneath it. The rest will be in isolated groups around Sobek Oasis, Valley of Dahri, Dar al-Shifa, Khaj-Nisut and the Dune of Carouses.
Each icon on the map yields 1 Scarab.
To maximize your Scarabs gathering, consider these strategies:
- Utilize Farming Route for Scarabs
- Use Characters with Exploration Utility Passive
- Scarab respawn every 48 hours
- Consider visiting other player's World
Utilize Farming Route for Scarab
Scarab can be found all over the Great Red Sand in Sumeru, but they are not grouped into a single location. Going to each collection area one-by-one to gather them may be inefficient. It is recommended to utilize the Farming Route for a faster and more efficient farming.
Use Characters with Exploration Utility Passive
For easier Farming, it is recommended to use characters that reveal the location of Specialties in Sumeru. By just putting them in your team, the locations of Scarabs will be shown in your mini-map which makes farming for the item easier.
Passive also Shows Location of Other Specialties
The character passive that shows specialties in the mini-map shows all of the specialties in the location. This is not limited to Scarabs.
Scarab Respawn every 48 Hours
After getting the Scarabs in your world, they will only respawn after 48 hours or 2 Server Time resets after.
Consider Visiting other Player's World
You can also get Scarabs by visiting other player's world. This is great for getting large amounts of Scarab. Make sure to chat your intentions to the World owner first! You can also use the Item Exchange Thread below:

Route 1 - Land Of Upper Setekh
