On-Field DPS For Lunar-Bloom
Nefer is meant to be a DPS for Lunar-Bloom. Her Shadows' Attacks can deal powerful Damage by itself and empower the Lunar-Bloom Damage as well. She also has synergy with Lauma in Lunar-Bloom and both can greatly boost the damage dealt.
Pros and Cons of Lunar-Bloom Nefer
| Pros |
|---|
| - One of the top performing On-Field DPSes as of the current meta due to her high ability scalings and perfect synergy with Lauma. |
| - Combos have room for skill expression, making her gameplay engaging and extremely mobile. |
| Cons |
| - Lauma is vital for increasing Nefer's damage due to her Dendro RES Shred and meaningful Lunar-Bloom buffs. Without her, Nefer fails to produce results expected from a top meta DPS. |
| - Best teams in terms of damage potential often forego a healer unless you have Lauma's C1. You need to time her dodge, Elementall Burst or Charged Attacks correctly to take advantage of the Invincibility Frames (i-frames) found in those abilities. |
Best Build for Nefer
Nefer is Best Built as a DPS
Similar to how other Nod-Krai DPS and Sub-DPS characters are built, Nefer is best built with CRIT Stats and the stat that her attacks scale on, Elemental Mastery.

Stat Goals For Lunar-Bloom Nefer
| CRIT Rate | 85% (75% with Lauma) |
|---|---|
| CRIT Damage | ~250% |
| Elemental Mastery | 600+ |
Nefer really only cares about her Elemental Mastery and CRIT Stats as a DPS character. Her Energy Recharge isn't prioritized since her Elemental Burst doesn't deal Lunar-Bloom damage, making it a significantly weaker than her Charged Attacks.

Nefer is a DPS that utilizes Elemental Mastery similar to other Dendro DPS characters. CRIT Stats is the priority stat for her since Lunar-Bloom can crit.

|---|---|---|
| Best | Reliquary Of Truth | Get from Limited Banner - Signature Weapon of Nefer that can only be obtianed when her Banner is available. - Boosts Nefer's CRIT stats and her EM. - Using Elemental Skill and dealing Lunar Bloom damage can greatly boost the CRIT Damage and EM buff. |
| 2nd | Nightweaver's Looking Glass | Get from Limited Banner - Provides an Elemental Mastery boost while buffing Lunar-Bloom damage. - Has no CRIT Stats but the Elemental Mastery increase can perform better than other CRIT stat Catalysts without EM buffs. |
| 3rd | Dawning Frost | Get from Limited Rate-Up Banners - Obtainable only when it's featured in the Limited Weapon banners. - Gives additional CRIT DMG and Elemental Mastery. - Best at Refinement Level 5. |
| 4th | Tome of the Eternal Flow Surf's Up Vivid Notions | Get from Limited Banner - While some CRIT DMG catalysts don't have EM, you can still equip them on Nefer just for the CRIT DMG increase alone. |
| 5th | A Thousand Floating Dreams Sunny Morning Sleep-In | Get from Limited Banner - Elemental Mastery catalysts are viable options to consider if you happen to have them. |
Nefer scales heavily on Elemental Mastery. Aside from her signature weapon, most of her other best weapon options provide EM or CRIT, which are both stats she greatly appreciates.
Free To Play Friendly (F2P Weapons) for On-Field DPS Nefer
| Weapon | How to Get Rating | |
|---|---|---|
| Best F2P | Blackmarrow Lantern | Nod-Krai Craftable (Forgeable) Weapon - Best 4-star weapon for increasing Nefer's damage since it boosts both Elemental Mastery and Nefer's Lunar-Bloom damage. |
| 2nd (Forge) | Fruit Of Fulfillment | Sumeru Craftable (Forgeable) Weapon - 2nd best F2P Catalyst for increasing Elemental Mastery. - Decreases Nefer's ATK which can lower her Elemental Burst's damage. - Energy Recharge substat can be great if you also want to use Nefer's Elemental Burst often. |
| 3rd (Forge) | Mappa Mare | Craftable (Forgeable) Weapon - Decent Elemental Mastery stat stick. - Since Nefer deals more Lunar-Bloom damage, this weapon's Elemental Damage buff won't matter much. |
| 4th (Event) | Etherlight Spindlelute | Get from Limited Event - Obtainable from Version 6.0's flagship event. - Boosts both Energy Recharge and EM but has lower EM given compared to other craftable weapons. |
For F2P options, the new Nod-Krai craftable catalyst works great for Nefer since she deals a lot of Lunar-Bloom Damage and can benefit from the EM stat. If you're unable to craft it yet, you can use the Sumeru craftable Catalyst or Mappa Mare.
Best Weapon for NeferAll Weapon ListNefer Best Artifacts
Since Nefer is a DPS character with Moonsign mechanics, her best Artifact is either the On-Field DPS set from Nod-Krai, or a mixed setup that uses two Elemental Mastery 2-piece effect sets. See below for our top recommendations:
| Artifact | Recommendation Details |
|---|---|
Night Of The Sky's Unveiling | - Best artifact set for boosting Nefer's CRIT Rate as a Moonsign character and increasing her Lunar-Bloom damage. - Needs someone to hold the Silken Moon set to fully utilize the effect. |
Any EM set Any EM set | - A decent temporary option while you continue to farm for a full 4-piece set since Nefer's damage scales extremely well the more EM she has. |

Prioritize Elemental Mastery and CRIT Stats
For substats, it's best to focus on her Elemental Mastery and CRIT Stats instead of Energy Recharge. Energy Recharge can be deprioritized thanks to her Burst's low Energy cost and its underwhelming damage due to only dealing regular Dendro DMG, as opposed to her Lunar-Bloom Charged Attacks.

Premium Lunar-Bloom Team For Nefer
| DPS | Support | Support | Support |
|---|---|---|---|
Nefer | Lauma | Columbina | Sucrose |
| Details | |||
| - All of Nefer's high DPS output teams include Lauma, which isn't surprising since she was designed to be Nefer's premiere Lunar-Bloom support whose buffs align incredibly well with Nefer's playstyle and abilities. - Columbina is the ideal Off-Field Hydro source for a Nefer team since she applies a lot of element while also contributing both meaningful buffs and decent personal damage. - The fourth slot can be another utility support or a healer. For the best possible damage result, a fast animation support like Sucrose that can share her Elemental Mastery is one of the better options. | |||
Lauma's Dendro RES shred and Lunar-Bloom DMG% buffs automatically make her Nefer's best teammate in her premium teams. Aside from the Lunar Reaction damage increases, Columbina also completes the trio with her consistent Hydro application which allows for fast Verdant Dew generation. This allows Nefer to keep using her optimized combos without any gap between her special Charged Attacks.
The last slot can be filled with a sustain or a buffer, preferably someone who can further increase Nefer's Elemental Mastery since she scales extremely well with more of it.

Team Rotation of Nefer and Combos
Team Rotation of On-Field DPS Nefer
| Basic Team Rotation of Nefer |
|---|
| 1. Use other characters' Support/Sub-DPS abilities first. 2. Perform Nefer's damage combo: [Elemental Skill → Special Charged Attack x3] 3. (Optional) Use Nefer's Elemental Burst to end her rotation. |
After getting buffed by her teammates, Nefer's rotation is focused on her Elemental Skill and Special Charged Attack. Her Elemental Burst can be used as a finisher or unused for a faster rotation.
Optimal Nefer Combo
| Nerfer Combo with Dash Cancels |
|---|
| Elemental Skill [ Charged Attack → Dash ] x3 Elemental Skill [ Charged Attack → Dash ] x2 Charged Attack (x1) End with Elemental Burst or Columbina Special Charged Attack (x1) |
Nefer's damage potential increases if you use dash cancels to fit in more Charged Attacks within her Skill uptime. Dash cancelling will cause her to consume Verdant Dew stacks much faster, which can be a slight problem if the Hydro Support is anyone other than Columbina.
Basics of Using Nefer (Beginner Guide)

Nefer is one of two On-Field DPSes that can deal true Lunar-Bloom damage, which she triggers through her special Charged Attacks after consuming a resource called Verdant Dew. These Charged Attacks are further enhanced by Seeds of Deceit.
Moonsign Benediction Effects
| Moonsign Benediction Guideline | |
|---|---|
| Nascent Gleam | Only 1 Nod-Krai character (including Zibai) |
| Ascendant Gleam | 2 or more Nod-Krai character (including Zibai) |
Like all Nod-Krai characters, Nefer is also counted towards the Moonsign Benediction party level, where she benefits from having Ascendant Gleam active.
Additionally, like Lauma, Nefer has a Moonsign Benediction passive where she converts Bloom reactions into Lunar-Bloom, increasing the base Lunar-Bloom damage according to her Elemental Mastery alongside it.
Note! | Only Nefer, Columbina and Lauma can deal direct Lunar-Bloom damage through their abilities and passives. |
|---|
Special Charged Attack Consumes Verdant Dew

▲ Verdant Dew stacks are indicated by three half-moon icons.
Nefer's Skill has two charges. After activating it once, Nefer enters the Shadow Dance state and gains access to a unique Charged Attack that uses up the party's Verdant Dew, which are generated every time a Lunar-Bloom (Hydro and Dendro) reaction is triggered, up to a maximum of three stacks.
These Charged Attacks produce coordinated strikes alongside her clones, which deal direct Lunar-Bloom damage.
Note! | You might run out of Dew if you lack enough Hydro application while trying to perform her best ▲ combos. |
|---|
Seeds of Deceit Empower Her Charged Attacks

▲ Dendro Cores are converted into Seeds immediately after using Skill.
When Nefer uses her Skill, any Dendro or Bountiful Core produced are turned into Seeds of Deceit. Nefer's Charged Attack absorbs these Seeds to gain a stack of Veil of Falsehood, which increases her Elemental Mastery (EM) and the damage dealt by her special Charged Attack whenever she reaches 3 stacks of Falsehood.
Elemental Burst Consumes Falsehood Stacks
Nefer's Elemental Burst might have decent scaling, but it does not deal Lunar-Bloom damage. Additionally, it also uses up all of her Falsehood stacks, meaning you have to generate more Seeds of Deceit.
Her Burst is best used as the finishing move towards the end of her combo because of this, since you're better off saving the Falsehood stacks for her special Charged Attacks.

Dedicated On-Field Lunar-Bloom DPS
| Basic Rotation of Nefer |
|---|
| 1. Start the rotation with the Supports in order of longest ability duration to shortest. 2. Swap to Nefer, then perform your preferred damage combo. The basic one is [ Skill → Charged Attack → Dash ] until you run out of Skill charges. 3. (Optional) Use Nefer's Elemental Burst to end her rotation. |
Nefer is a Dendro Moonsign character who is a true Lunar-Bloom DPS. She utilizes her Elemental Skill and Special Charged Attacks to deal direct Lunar-Bloom damage by consuming Verdant Dew stacks.
Moonsign Benediction Passive Increases Base Lunar-Bloom DMG
Moonsign Benediction Passive| Icon | Moonsign Benediction Passive Description |
|---|---|
Moonsign Benediction: Dusklit Eaves | When a party member triggers a Bloom reaction, it will be converted into the Lunar-Bloom reaction, with every point of Elemental Mastery that Nefer has increasing Lunar-Bloom's Base DMG by 0.0175%, up to a maximum of 14%. Additionally, when Nefer is in the party, the party's Moonsign will increase by 1 level. |
Nefer shares a special passive with other Nod-Krai characters called a Moonsign Benediction passive. This lets her automatically convert Bloom reactions into Lunar-Bloom, while also buffing the base damage of direct Lunar-Bloom damage according to her Elemental Mastery (EM).
Note! | The only sources of direct Lunar-Bloom damage are Nefer and Columbina's special Charged Attack, and Lauma's Skill (hold). |

Verdant Dew Summary
| Icon | Verdant Dew Summary |
|---|---|
Verdant Dew | Gained when party members trigger Lunar-Bloom reactions. - Grants 1 Verdant Dew every 2.5s for 2.5s after triggering Lunar-Bloom. - Max 3 Verdant Dew. - Triggering Lunar-Bloom again refreshes the duration. |
| Icon | Elemental Skill Summary |
|---|---|
Senet Strategy: Dance of a Thousand Nights | Nefer charges forward, dealing AoE Dendro DMG and entering the Shadow Dance state. Has 2 initial charges. After using Skill, Nefer enters her Shadow Dance state: - If the party has at least 1 Verdant Dew, Charged Attacks become the special Charged Attack Phantasm Performance (no Stamina cost). - Increases Nefer’s resistance to interruption. - Ends after 3 Phantasm Performance are unleashed or when duration expires. Phantasm Performance (Special Charged Attack) - Available during Shadow Dance with at least 1 Verdant Dew. - Summons shades to perform coordinated attacks. - Nefer deals 2 instances of AoE Dendro DMG. - Shades deal 3 instances of AoE Dendro DMG (considered Lunar-Bloom DMG). - Consumes 1 Verdant Dew the first time shades are summoned after each use. |
Nefer's primary damage source are her special Charged Attacks (CA), which she gains access to after activating her Elemental Skill.
In order to use them, the party needs to have at least 1 Verdant Dew stack. Since Dew stacks are capped at three (3), Nefer will only be able to do three (3) CAs per Skill activation, totaling six (6) per rotation since she can use her Skill twice.
Seeds of Deceit Buff Her Charged Attacks
| Dendro Cores into Seeds of Deceit | |
|---|---|
![]() | ![]() |
| Icon | Ascension 1 Passive Summary |
|---|---|
A Wager of Moonlight | Nefer gains buffs based on the party’s Moonsign. Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: - When Elemental Skill Senet Strategy: Dance of a Thousand Nights is used: • All Dendro Cores become Seeds of Deceit. • For 15s, Lunar-Bloom reactions create Seeds of Deceit instead of Dendro/Bountiful Cores. • Seeds of Deceit cannot trigger Hyperbloom or Burgeon and will not burst. Seed Absorption & Buffs - Charged Attacks or Phantasm Performance absorb nearby Seeds of Deceit. - Each seed grants 1 stack of Veil of Falsehood. Veil of Falsehood: - Increases Phantasm Performance DMG by 8% per stack. - Max 3 stacks. At 3 stacks (or refresh of the 3rd stack): +100 Elemental Mastery for 8s. - Each stack lasts 9s and is tracked independently. |
Nefer's first Ascension passive is what converts all Dendro or Bountiful Cores (Nilou's passive) created from applying Hydro or Dendro (and vice versa) on a target once she activates her Skill. The Seeds are what allow her to gain Veil of Falsehood stacks that empower her special Charged Attacks.
This passive is also one of the reasons why Nefer's best teams will always include at least one other Nod-Krai character to activate Ascendant Gleam.
Note! | Nefer's intended gameplay therefor clashes with comps that require the Dendro Cores for reactions by default, like Hyperbloom or in Nilou's Bountiful Bloom teams. |
|---|
Other Passive Isn’t Important in Endgame Content
Ascension 2 Passive Description| Icon | Ascension 2 Passive Summary |
|---|---|
Daughter of the Dust and Sand | When Nefer is in the Shadow Dance state, for 5s after a party member triggers a Lunar-Bloom reaction, Nefer's Slither state will provide additional Verdant Dew. Every 100 points of Nefer's Elemental Mastery beyond 500 will strengthen this additional provision effect by 10%. The maximum increase that can be achieved this way is 50%. |
Nefer's other Ascension Passive isn't as important for harder endgame content like Stygian Onslaught due to the time needed to achieve it. Nefer's Slither state is her normal Charged Attack, without pressing her Skill, which causes her to Sprint before dealing Dendro DMG.
Realistically, you're better off concentrating on dealing damage through her special Charged Attack in harder game modes rather than trying to increase Verdant Dew generation through this passive. It's nice to have in the overworld however.
Burst Does Not Deal Lunar-Bloom Damage
Elemental Burst Description
| Icon | Elemental Burst Description |
|---|---|
Sacred Vow: True Eye's Phantasm | Grant "revelation" to the mysteries of the false through Thoth's true sight, dealing AoE Dendro DMG to opponents ahead. When unleashed, Nefer will consume all Veils of Falsehood to increase the DMG dealt by the current Elemental Burst. |
Despite scaling with Elemental Mastery, Nefer's Burst isn't a large contributor to her DPS since not only does it consume Veil of Falsehood stacks, it also doesn't deal direct Lunar-Bloom damage, meaning it isn't buffed by any Lunar-Bloom DMG% increase, such as those from Lauma or Columbina.
Nefer's Burst is typically used after executing six special Charged Attacks. at the end of her combo, as a result.
Lean Heavily Into EM and CRIT
Nefer only cares for two offensive stats: Elemental Mastery (EM), and CRIT Rate or DMG. Since her Burst isn't a huge chunk of her DPS, you won't be punished for not having any Energy Recharge (ER) on her Artifacts.
Note! | Nefer only needs 60% CRIT Rate from her substats in her premium team. She reaches 100% thanks to following: - 10% Lunar-Bloom CRIT Rate from Lauma - 30% from the Sky's Unveiling set when the party is at Ascendant Gleam and another teammate has the Silken Moon set. |
|---|
Has Special Overworld Interactions in Nod-Krai

Characters released during the Song of the Welkin Moon versions (Luna) have special overworld abilities that let you feel more immersed while exploring Nod-Krai or other areas.
As the owner of the Curatorium of Secrets, Nefer has access to the Intel Hunt feature, where she can use her Skill on NPCs to obtain special intel on them, some of these leading to special quests.
Tip! | Nefer also unlocks the chest found in her office with the ff. properties: - Gain 100,000 Mora if interacted with using Nefer. - Goes on cooldown for two days after opening. - Can open the chest three times max with Nefer. |

Should You Pull for Nefer's Constellation Or Best Weapon?
Both Her Constellations and Signature Will Yield Similar Results
| Signature VS Constellation |
|---|
Reliquary Of Truth = C1 > C2 |
Reliquary Of Truth for Easier Building & Flexibility for Multiple Characters
Nefer's Signature Weapon boosts her damage on a similar level as her C1 and it makes Nefer alot easier to build. Another advantage to pulling her weapon is the fact that it is an amazing Sub-Stat for any damage dealing Catalyst because of the raw stats it provides. However, with R5 Blackmarrow Lantern, C1 Nefer can deal similar levels of damage to C0R1 Nefer.
C2 with Signature is a Good Stopping Point
Nefer's later Constellations allow her to more damage with RES shred and additional hits but her C2 is a good stopping point. It's able to buff Nefer by 200 EM instead of 100 and make her Skill's Charged Attack deal 140% of the original damage. If you plan to further invest on Nefer, getting her Signature Weapon and pulling until you reach C2 is recommended.
Nefer's Constellations & Effects
| Rating | Constellation Effect |
|---|---|
| ★★★★・ | C1: Planning Breeds Success The Base DMG for Lunar-Bloom reactions caused by Nefer's Phantasm Performance is increased by 60% of her Elemental Mastery. This effect is also boosted by Veil of Falsehood. |
| ★★★★★ | C2: Observation Feeds Strategy Enhances the effects of the Ascension Talent A Wager of Moonlight: Extends Veil of Falsehood's duration by 5s, and increases its stack limit to 5, as well as causing Phantasm Performance to deal up to 140% of its original DMG. When Nefer unleashes her Elemental Skill, she will instantly gain 2 stacks of Veil of Falsehood. Additionally, when Veil of Falsehood gains 5 stacks, or when the fifth stack's duration is refreshed, Nefer's Elemental Mastery will be increased by 200 for 8s instead. You must first unlock the Ascension Talent "A Wager of Moonlight." |
| ★★★・・ | C3: Deceit Cloaks the Truth Increases the Level of Senet Strategy: Dance of a Thousand Nights by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
| ★★★★・ | C4: Delusion Ensnares Reason When Nefer is on the field and in the Shadow Dance state, you will gain Verdant Dew 25% faster. Additionally, while Nefer is in the Shadow Dance state, nearby opponents will have their Dendro RES decreased by 20%. This effect will be removed when Nefer exits the Shadow Dance state or after she strays a certain distance away from the opponents for 4.5s. |
| ★★・・・ | C5: Opportunity Hides in the Margins Increases the Level of Sacred Vow: True Eye's Phantasm by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
| ★★★★・ | C6: Victory Flows from the Turning of Tides When Nefer unleashes Phantasm Performance, the second stage of DMG dealt by herself will be converted to deal AoE Dendro DMG equal to 85% of her Elemental Mastery. Additionally, when the attacks from Phantasm Performance end, an extra instance of AoE Dendro DMG equal to 120% of Nefer's Elemental Mastery will be dealt. All of the aforementioned DMG is considered Lunar-Bloom DMG dealt by Phantasm Performance. Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: Nefer's Lunar-Bloom DMG is elevated by 15%. |

Nefer charges forward, dealing AoE Dendro DMG and entering the Shadow Dance state. While in the Shadow Dance state, if you have at least 1 Verdant Dew, Nefer's Charged Attacks will be replaced with the special Charged Attack Phantasm Performance, which will not consume Stamina. When in the Shadow Dance state, Nefer's resistance to interruption is increased. Two initial charges. |

Passive Skills
A Wager of Moonlight
| Effect |
|---|
| Nefer will be granted the corresponding buff effects based on the party's Moonsign. Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: When she unleashes her Elemental Skill Senet Strategy: Dance of a Thousand Nights, any Dendro Cores on the field will be converted to Seeds of Deceit, and any Lunar-Bloom reactions triggered by nearby characters in the following 15s that would create Dendro Cores or Bountiful Cores will instead create Seeds of Deceit. Seeds of Deceit cannot trigger Hyperbloom or Burgeon reactions and will not burst. When Nefer unleashes a Charged Attack or Phantasm Performance, she can absorb Seeds of Deceit within a certain range, gaining 1 stack of Veil of Falsehood for every seed absorbed. When this effect reaches 3 stacks, or when the third stack's duration is refreshed, Nefer's Elemental Mastery will be increased by 100 for 8s. |
Daughter of the Dust and Sand

|---|
| When Nefer is in the Shadow Dance state, for 5s after a party member triggers a Lunar-Bloom reaction, Nefer's Slither state will provide additional Verdant Dew. Dusklit Eaves
| Effect |
|---|
| When a party member triggers a Bloom reaction, it will be converted into the Lunar-Bloom reaction, with every point of Elemental Mastery that Nefer has increasing Lunar-Bloom's Base DMG by 0.0175%, up to a maximum of 14%. Additionally, when Nefer is in the party, the party's Moonsign will increase by 1 level. |
Conspiracy of the Golden Vault
| Effect |
