| 2nd | Nightweaver's Looking Glass | Get from Limited Banner - Lauma's Signature Weapon that can only be obtained when her Banner is available. - Boosts Elemental Mastery greatly and buffs Nefer's Lunar-Bloom damage. - Has no CRIT Stats but the EM amount works better than CRIT stat Catalysts without Elemental Mastery buffs. |
| 3rd | A Thousand Floating Dreams | Get from Limited Banner - Nahida's Signature Weapon that can only be obtained when her Banner is available. - 2nd best EM Catalyst for increasing Nefer's Skill damage and Lunar-Bloom damage. - Can buff teammates' Elemental Mastery as well. |
| 4th | Dawning Frost | Get from Limited Banners - Obtainable when it's on rate up in Limited Weapon banners. - Boosts CRIT DMG and Elemental Mastery. - EM Catalysts like Nahida and Lauma's weapon give thrice the EM, making Dawning Frost perform worse. |
Nefer scales heavily on Elemental Mastery. Aside from her signature weapon, her other premium weapon options are EM-boosting weapons.
Free To Play Friendly (F2P Weapons) for On-Field DPS Nefer
| Weapon | How to Get Rating | |
|---|---|---|
| Best F2P | Blackmarrow Lantern | Nod-Krai Craftable (Forgeable) Weapon - Best 4-star weapon for increasing Nefer's damage since it boosts both Elemental Mastery and Nefer's Lunar-Bloom damage. |
| 2nd (Forge) | Fruit Of Fulfillment | Sumeru Craftable (Forgeable) Weapon - 2nd best F2P Catalyst for increasing Elemental Mastery. - Decreases Nefer's ATK which can lower her Elemental Burst's damage. - Energy Recharge substat can be great if you also want to use Nefer's Elemental Burst often. |
| 3rd (Forge) | Mappa Mare | Craftable (Forgeable) Weapon - Decent Elemental Mastery stat stick. - Since Nefer deals more Lunar-Bloom damage, this weapon's Elemental Damage buff won't matter much. |
| 4th (Event) | Etherlight Spindlelute | Get from Limited Event - Obtainable from Version 6.0's flagship event. - Boosts both Energy Recharge and EM but has lower EM given compared to other craftable weapons. |
For F2P options, the new Nod-Krai craftable catalyst works great for Nefer since she deals a lot of Lunar-Bloom Damage and can benefit from the EM stat. If you're unable to craft it yet, you can use the Sumeru craftable Catalyst or Mappa Mare.
Best Weapon for NeferAll Weapon ListNefer Best Artifacts
Since Nefer is a DPS character with Moonsign mechanics, her best Artifact is the new DPS set from Nod-Krai. She can use Elemental Mastery boosting sets instead as alternative.
| Artifact | Recommendation Details |
|---|---|
Night Of The Sky's Unveiling | - Best artifact set for boosting Nefer's CRIT Rate as a Moonsign character and increasing her Lunar-Bloom damage. - Needs someone to hold the Silken Moon set to fully utilize the effect. |
Any EM set Any EM set | - Assuming Nefer works similarly to other Nod-Krai DPS characters, giving her more Elemental Mastery can work better instead of CRIT Rate for Lunar-Bloom. - Lauma can reduce Nefer's CRIT Rate requirements as well. |

| - Lauma shreds Dendro to boost Lunar-Bloom damage and buffs it with her Elemental Burst's effect. - Aino is the solo Hydro character for applying Hydro. Her C6 buff is a plus but not necessary. - Nahida buffs 250 EM for Nefer. She can be replaced with another EM buffer. | |||
Lauma is Nefer's best teammate for Lunar-Bloom due to the variety of buffs and Dendro shred that she can do. Aino's Hydro application works the best for Lunar-Bloom teams since the other options either have slower application or buffs that doesn't work well in Nod-Krai teams. Nahida's Elemental Mastery buff allows Nefer to deal more damage but other EM buffers can be used instead.

Team Rotation of Nefer and Combos
Team Rotation of On-Field DPS Nefer
| Basic Rotation Of Nefer |
|---|
| 1. Use other characters' Support/Sub-DPS abilities. 2. Use Nefer's damage combo: [Elemental Skill → Special Charged Attack x3] 3. (Optional) Use Nefer's Elemental Burst to end her rotation. |
After getting buffed by her teammates, Nefer's rotation is focused on her Elemental Skill and Special Charged Attack. Her Elemental Burst can be used as a finisher or unused for a faster rotation.
Verdant Dew Generation Can Affect Rotations
Nefer's Special Charged Attack is reliant on Verdant Dew, making management of it vital. Depending on your team comp, the optimal combo can change. If the Sub-DPS duration is short, Nefer would only be able to do 3 Special Charged Attacks and use her Burst to make up for the damage loss.
Basics of Using Nefer (Beginner Guide)
Characters from Nod-Krai have a similar mechanic to the Nightsoul mechanic of Natlan. Each Nod-Krai character increases the Moonsign Level by 1. When the Moonsign Level is 2, Nefer converts Dendro Cores and Bountiful Cores into Seeds of Deceit that can buff her.
Elemental Skill & Special Charged Attack is the Core of her Kit
After using her Elemental Skill, Nefer can use a Special Charged Attack by consuming Verdant Dew. This Charged Attack has a coordinated attack dealt by Nefer's shadow clones and deals Lunar Bloom damage.
Verdant Dew Generation Can Affect Rotations
▲ Video showcasing Nefer's Verdant Dew consumption.
While Nefer has a passive effect to boost the Verdant Dew generation, you can easily run out of Dew and you will have to switch to other characters. It can also alter her optimal rotations since her Special Charged Attack is reliant on it.
Gains Veil of Falsehood buff after using Charged Attacks (includes Special Charged Attack)
Nefer can absorb Seeds of Deceit converted from Dendro cores and Bountiful Cores and gains a stack of Veil of Falsehood for every seed absorbed. She then gains an Elemental Mastery buff of 100 when she reaches 3 stacks.
Elemental Burst Can Consume Veil of Falsehood
Nefer's Elemental Burst can deal powerful damage but it consumes all Veil of Falsehood stacks, making her EM buff disappear too. Compared to using all six (6) Special Charged Attacks, the damage dealt by her Burst is much lower and uses up a lot of time.

▲ Nefer Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst stats at Talent Level 1.
Aside from needing CRIT stats as a Lunar-Bloom DPS, Nefer's Special Charged Attack and Elemental Burst scale heavily on her Elemental Mastery. Similar to Flins, she does not need Elemental DMG Bonus for her Goblet artifact and is recommended to use EM/EM/CRIT Rate or CRIT Damage for her artifact mainstats.
Elemental Skill, Burst and Abilities Guide for Nefer
How To Use Nefer's Skills & Passives?
Dendro DPS For Lunar-Bloom

Nefer is a Dendro Moonsign character who is a Lunar-Bloom DPS. She utilizes her Elemental Skill and Special Charged Attack to deal powerful Dendro damage. Adding her to a team will change Bloom reactions to Lunar-Bloom.
Use Elemental Skill And Charged Attack For Damage

Use Nefer's Skill to enter Shadow Dance state and change her Charged Attack by consuming 1 Verdant Dew. Her Shades will then deal powerful damage based on her Elemental Mastery. She will also absorb Seeds of Deceit nearby.
| How to Obtain? | |
|---|---|
| Verdant Dew | - Lunar-Bloom reactions generate 1 Verdant Dew every 2.5s. - Nefer is able to increase the generation of Verdant Dew. |
| Seeds of Deceit | - Only obtainable if Ascendant Gleam effect is active by having another Moonsign character aside from Nefer. - Converted from Dendro Cores and Bountiful Cores. - Stacks up to 3 and then buffs Nefer's Elemental Mastery by 100 when maxed. - Can't detonate to deal Bloom explosion damage and can't be affected by Electro for Hyperbloom reaction. |
▲ Since Bloom explosions can't happen if Ascendant Gleam is active, Seeds of Deceit makes Nilou incompatible with Nefer since she boosts the explosion damage.
Elemental Burst Is A Finisher Attack
Nefer's Elemental Burst is a oneshot finisher attack that can consume Seeds of Deceit to increase its damage. Since it consumes Seeds of Deceit, it's generally not recommended to use her Burst between Charged Attacks. But you can opt to skip her Burst for faster rotations.
Both Elemental Mastery And CRIT Stats Are Needed
Nefer uses both Elemental Mastery and CRIT Stats to boost her damage. But having a lot of EM can work too since her Shadows' attack scale heavily on Elemental Mastery, allowing Nefer to use non-CRIT stat weapons as long as they give a lot of EM.
Should You Pull for Nefer's Constellation Or Best Weapon?
Both Her Constellations and Signature Will Yield Similar Results
| Signature VS Constellation |
|---|
Reliquary Of Truth = C1 > C2 |
Reliquary Of Truth for Easier Building & Flexibility for Multiple Characters
Nefer's Signature Weapon boosts her damage on a similar level as her C1 and it makes Nefer alot easier to build. Another advantage to pulling her weapon is the fact that it is an amazing Sub-Stat for any damage dealing Catalyst because of the raw stats it provides. However, with R5 Blackmarrow Lantern, C1 Nefer can deal similar levels of damage to C0R1 Nefer.
C2 with Signature is a Good Stopping Point
Nefer's later Constellations allow her to more damage with RES shred and additional hits but her C2 is a good stopping point. It's able to buff Nefer by 200 EM instead of 100 and make her Skill's Charged Attack deal 140% of the original damage. If you plan to further invest on Nefer, getting her Signature Weapon and pulling until you reach C2 is recommended.

| Rating | Constellation Effect |
|---|---|

When Nefer unleashes her Elemental Skill, she will instantly gain 2 stacks of Veil of Falsehood. Additionally, when Veil of Falsehood gains 5 stacks, or when the fifth stack's duration is refreshed, Nefer's Elemental Mastery will be increased by 200 for 8s instead. You must first unlock the Ascension Talent "A Wager of Moonlight." |
| ★★★・・ | C3: Deceit Cloaks the Truth Increases the Level of Senet Strategy: Dance of a Thousand Nights by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
| ★★★★・ | C4: Delusion Ensnares Reason When Nefer is on the field and in the Shadow Dance state, you will gain Verdant Dew 25% faster. This effect will be removed when Nefer exits the Shadow Dance state or after she strays a certain distance away from the opponents for 4.5s. |
| ★★・・・ | C5: Opportunity Hides in the Margins Increases the Level of Sacred Vow: True Eye's Phantasm by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
| ★★★★・ | C6: Victory Flows from the Turning of Tides When Nefer unleashes Phantasm Performance, the second stage of DMG dealt by herself will be converted to deal AoE Dendro DMG equal to 85% of her Elemental Mastery. Additionally, when the attacks from Phantasm Performance end, an extra instance of AoE Dendro DMG equal to 120% of Nefer's Elemental Mastery will be dealt. All of the aforementioned DMG is considered Lunar-Bloom DMG dealt by Phantasm Performance. Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: Nefer's Lunar-Bloom DMG is elevated by 15%. |

Passive Skills
A Wager of Moonlight
| Effect |
|---|
| Nefer will be granted the corresponding buff effects based on the party's Moonsign. Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: When she unleashes her Elemental Skill Senet Strategy: Dance of a Thousand Nights, any Dendro Cores on the field will be converted to Seeds of Deceit, and any Lunar-Bloom reactions triggered by nearby characters in the following 15s that would create Dendro Cores or Bountiful Cores will instead create Seeds of Deceit. Seeds of Deceit cannot trigger Hyperbloom or Burgeon reactions and will not burst. When Nefer unleashes a Charged Attack or Phantasm Performance, she can absorb Seeds of Deceit within a certain range, gaining 1 stack of Veil of Falsehood for every seed absorbed. When this effect reaches 3 stacks, or when the third stack's duration is refreshed, Nefer's Elemental Mastery will be increased by 100 for 8s. |
Daughter of the Dust and Sand
| Effect |
|---|
| When Nefer is in the Shadow Dance state, for 5s after a party member triggers a Lunar-Bloom reaction, Nefer's Slither state will provide additional Verdant Dew. Every 100 points of Nefer's Elemental Mastery beyond 500 will strengthen this additional provision effect by 10%. The maximum increase that can be achieved this way is 50%. |
Dusklit Eaves
| Effect |
|---|
| When a party member triggers a Bloom reaction, it will be converted into the Lunar-Bloom reaction, with every point of Elemental Mastery that Nefer has increasing Lunar-Bloom's Base DMG by 0.0175%, up to a maximum of 14%. Additionally, when Nefer is in the party, the party's Moonsign will increase by 1 level. |
Conspiracy of the Golden Vault
| Effect |
|---|
| Gains 25% more rewards when dispatched on a Nod-Krai Expedition for 20 hours. Additionally, as the head of the Curatorium of Secrets, Nefer seemingly has the ability to obtain intelligence from a variety of sources — intelligence that certain factions in Nasha Town might find extremely interesting... |
