The Auspicious Treasure Trees are items or decorations found in the overworld that's related to a 'scavenger hunt-like' mini-game in the Lantern Rite 2026 event, named 'Bright Moon, Lantern Glow'.
Travelers are instructed to prune or destroy these trees by using a character's Normal Attacks, which will cause it to disappear and drop Fortune Coins and receive likes, which are tied to certain objectives or quests (that also reward Primogems).

Words to a Good Friend
These coins are used to redeem Lantern Rite Gifts via the Festive Shopping NPC, Pingxi, who can you find in at Liyue Harbor. You also need the coins to redeem Yaoyao's New Skin and a free copy of any Liyue 4-Star character from the selector found in the "Words to a Good Friend" tab of the Lantern Rite event.
There are 21 total Auspicious Treasure Trees, found only within Liyue Harbor.

Elemental Sight will usually reveal items or creatures in the overworld that you can interact with, and it works on the Auspicious Treasure Trees as well.
