Chronicled Wish Banner - Should You Pull On It?
When it comes to choosing what to pull on any banner, your preference should always go first! Pull for who you like regardless of meta or recommendations.
Pull Recommendation Order
| 1. Favorite Character/Weapon for Favorite Character 2. Meta Limited Character or Weapon 3. Masterless Fortuna from C6 Standard Characters. |
Limited Character/Weapon Over Standard
As a general rule of thumb, the limited characters or weapons are often better to target compared to standard pool characters and weapons. Since they can be pulled as off-rate on the 50/50 system, limited gacha items that are usually obtainable every few months or even years are more worth pulling for.
Albedo or Klee for Limited Character
With the new Hexerei buffs for Albedo and Klee, both of them are good picks from this banner. If you need a Pyro damage dealer, pick Klee but if you want a support to pair with Durin, pick Albedo. See below for a summary of their abilities:

Elegy for the End for Limited Weapon

Since Venti has a new Signature Weapon that went on rate-up with him on his last banner, it's likely that Elegy won't be rerunning with Venti anymore despite it being his previous Signature Weapon. It's also a very good versatile support weapon, making it a good addition to your account if you don't have it yet.
Masterless Fortuna For Those With C6 Rate-Up Characters
Since Mondstadt standard characters have been in the game longer, some players possibly have C6 of them by now. If you want to level a character up to Level 100, you can target Jean, Diluc or Mona if you have them at C6.

Choose A "Chronicled Path"
The Chronicled Wish will allow you to choose a "Designated Item" from the available characters and weapons in the banner. This does not guarantee that you will get that item, but it will make it easier for you to get it.
50% Chance To Get The Designated Item
There is a 50% chance to get the Designated Item you chose when you pull a 5-star item. If you don't get the Designated Item, you will earn a Fate Point instead.
1 Fate Point Guarantees Your Designated Item
Once you have 1 Fate Point, this will guarantee that you will get your Designated Item when you get another 5-star in the banner. Fate Points are specific to the item you chose! If you decide to change your Designated Item, your Fate Point will go back to 0.
Fate Points Will Expire With The End Of The Current Chronicled Wish
Fate Points do not carry over across different Chronicled Wish Events. Only Wish Pity Count will carry over.
Designated Item Will Determine What You Obtain
If you choose a character for your Designated Item, you can only obtain characters when you pull a 5-star. Meanwhile, if you choose a weapon, your 5-star pulls will only be weapons.
