In addition to the Energy Recharge sub-stat, Favonius Lance's passive is great for producing more Energy from CRIT Hit. This is advantageous for Energy-producing, support characters also known as battery of the team.
Still Useful In Endgame
Once you get this polearm in the early game, it is good to upgrade it. It is still useful even in the endgame especially for supports. For instance, it is highly recommended for Yun Jin.
