Sethos Is A DMG Dealer That Uses Electro-Infused Charged Attacks

Sethos is an Electro DMG dealer that deals damage mainly with Electro Charged Attacks. Sethos has the power to convert his normal attacks to a Charged attack and also scales with Elemental Mastery enabling him to be amazing at reaction comps like Hyperbloom.

Recommended Team

The damage of Sethos is calculated based on his Elemental Mastery and ATK. Elemental Mastery does not only increase the base DMG but also reaction done by Sethos so it is recommend to increase Elemental Mastery and CRIT Stats of Sethos. Artifacts and weapon that increases EM and CRIT is recommended.

For teammates, reactions that boost Electro DMG like Aggravate is recommended.

Flower Of Paradise Lost is a set that increases the damage of Bloom reactions. If you are using Sethos in Hyperbloom teams, this will be a decent set but outside it, the other substitutes are preferred.

A DPS That Deals Powerful 2-Level Charged Attack

Sethos is a character that has a 2-Level Charged Attack called "Shadowpiercing Shot". This attack also scales from Elemental Mastery so you can aim for a powerful Aggravate reaction with Electro + Dendro. His concept is similar to the 5 Star DPS, Tighnari.

Shadowpiercing Shot Abilities
- Deals Electro DMG to enemies on his path. - While charging the attack, Sethos cannot move. - DMG Scales from both ATK and Elemental Mastery.

Drains Energy To Increase Charge Speed Of Aimed Shot

Sethos can drain 20 points of his own energy to make the Aimed Shot charge time to 0.3s. When you have max Energy Recharge (60), you can do at most 3 instant Aimed Shots. so it is recommended to fill your Elemental Burst.

Effect Of Black Kite's Enigma
- Per 1 Energy of Setos, decrease the charged attack of Sethos by -0.285 seconds. 　└Max of 20 energy is tallied. (shortens it from 6 sec→0.3 sec) - Once you shoot the second level Charged Attack energy will be drained. - If it is the 1st level aimed shot, only 50% of the count.

Increases Charged Attack DMG based on Elemental Mastery

With the Passive of Sethos, The Sand King's Boon, 700% of Sethos' Elemental Mastery is added to the damage of Shadow Piercing Shot. so the value of Elemental Mastery for Sethos is very high. Choose Elemental Mastery for Sands and use EM buffers such as Nahida to get powerful damage from Sethos.

Effects Of The Sand King's Boon
- Shadowpiercing Shot increases damage by Sethos's EM by 700%. - Cancelled if the conditions below is done: 　└ 5s after a Shadowpiercing Shot first hits an opponent. 　└ After 4 Shadowpiercing Shots strike opponents. - Sethos will regain Scorching Sandshade after 15s of hitting Shadowpiercing Shot.

Elemental Skill Gives Energy

By triggering an Elemental Reaction, Sethos will gain 12 Elemental energy points. Together with the Energy orbs obtained when Elemental Skill is hit, you can get 1 Charged Attack shot worth of energy. However, you need to trigger reaction so applying other reactions beforehand and getting close to enemies is required.

- Deals AoE Electro DMG. - When Electro-reactions (other than Crystalize) is triggered, gain 12 energy. 　└Electro-Charged / Aggravate / Overload/ Hyperbloom / Electro-Swirl

Elemental Burst Is A Trade Off With Charged Attack

Elemental Burst changes Normal Attack and increase damage based on Elemental Mastery. However, it is preferred to use Aimed Shot for Energy. so Elemental Burst is seldom used. The passive of Sethos and most of Constellations does not boost this ability making its value a lot lesser.

- Normal Attack of Sethos becomes "Dusk Bolts" 【Dusk Bolts】 - Deals damage to enemies on its path. - Scales from Sethos's Elemental Mastery. - Considered as Charged Attack DMG - Effects gets removed when Sethos is switched out of the field.

Constellation 6 Is The Best For DMG

Sethos, at C6, is able to deal powerful damage with his Aimed Shot. If you are thinking of using mostly Normal Attacks, up to C5 should give the maximum power.

Black Kite's Enigma

Effect
When Aiming, the charging time is decreased by 0.285s based on each point of Sethos's current Elemental Energy. Charging time can be reduced to a minimum of 0.3s through this method and a maximum of 20 Energy can be tallied. If a Shadowpiercing Shot is fired, consume the tallied amount of Elemental Energy; if it is a Charge Level 1 shot, then consume 50% of the tallied amount of Elemental Energy.

The Sand King's Boon

Effect
Sethos gains the "Scorching Sandshade" effect, increasing the DMG dealt by Shadowpiercing Shots by 700% of Sethos's Elemental Mastery. The Scorching Sandshade effect will be canceled when any of the following conditions are met: ・5s after a Shadowpiercing Shot first hits an opponent. ・After 4 Shadowpiercing Shots strike opponents. When a Shadowpiercing Shot affected by Scorching Sandshade first hits an opponent, Sethos will regain Scorching Sandshade after 15s.

Effect

Sethos gains the "Scorching Sandshade" effect, increasing the DMG dealt by Shadowpiercing Shots by 700% of Sethos's Elemental Mastery.
