This build focuses on increasing all of the damage output of Hydro Traveler. Most damage comes from Skill so it is ideal to use a weapon that affects the Skill performance.

ATK Is Better Than HP Generally

While HP can improve the damage output of Skill, ATK is still better as it affects both Skill & Burst. However, if you focus on improving the Skill, it is ok to go for HP than ATK.

CRIT Stat Is Ideal

For a general DPS build, it is essential to have a weapon with CRIT stats or ATK. However, Hydro Traveler also benefits from HP bonus which is why Primordial Jade Cutter is the best weapon to use as it gives CRIT Rate, max HP bonus, & subtle ATK bonus.

Skill-Related Stats Are Good

Hydro Traveler's damage mainly comes from Skill which makes a weapon with Skill-related stats a great choice to use if Primordial Jade Cutter is not available.

Weapon That Can Provide Buffs

As much as possible, you want a support that can provide buffs that are beneficial for the team, especially for the main DPS. Key of Khaj-Nisut is the best choice for general use due to max HP bonus. However, Freedom-Sworn can outperform the prior if the main DPS utilizes Normal/Charged/Plunging ATK.

Energy Recharge For Burst Uptime

Another option is to increase Hydro Traveler's ER to frequently use Burst. Hydro Traveler's Burst is a good off-field Hydro applicator that is convenient for team comps that need consistent Hydro application like Hyperbloom & Bloom team.
