Kaveh is a 4-star Dendro character that wields a Claymore in Genshin Impact. His gameplay focuses on being an on-field Dendro DPS and Bloom reaction enabler, capable of detonating Dendro Cores to trigger powerful AoE damage. His Elemental Skill, "Artistic Ingenuity," causes a Dendro explosion in a small AoE and detonates all nearby "Dendro Cores" instantly. His Elemental Burst, "Painted Dome," creates a field that enhances his Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks with Dendro damage and automatically detonates Dendro Cores while healing him slightly. Lore-wise, Kaveh is a renowned architect of Sumeru. Idealistic, empathetic, and deeply artistic—who, despite his brilliance, lives in debt and shares a complicated friendship (and living space) with Alhaitham.

Flower Of Paradise Lost is the best set for Kaveh since it can boost Bloom Damage outside of his EM and increase EM as well. Focus on having at least 180% Energy Recharge on him before building EM. Flame-Forged Insight's Energy regen makes it much more easier to build less on Energy Recharge.

Focus on Elemental Mastery and Energy Recharge
Kaveh is an Elemental Burst-reliant Bloom Driver but Elemental Mastery is still his first priority stat. He's also an Off-Field character so focusing less on Energy Recharge is fine as long as he has enough to use his Burst on the next rotation.

---
1. Activate Off-Field Support/Sub-DPS abilities. 2. Use Elemental Skill then Elemental Burst. 3. Apply Dendro with Normal Attacks and use Skill when it's available.
Kaveh works similarly to On-Field DPS characters since his main role is to apply Dendro. Make sure to use his Skill often to funnel Energy to Kaveh so he can use his Elemental Burst in the next rotation.
Basics of Using Kaveh (Beginner Guide)
Bloom Driver That Scales on Elemental Mastery
Kaveh is a Dendro Claymore user that can infuse his Normal and Charged Attacks with Dendro. He has various mechanics in his kit that is related to the Bloom reaction but he can be used outside of it in niche cases.
Reliant on Elemental Burst for Infusion
Similar to older characters with Elemental Infusion mechanic, Kaveh's Dendro Infusion is from his Elemental Burst. This makes Energy Recharge a priority stat for him since he also has a high Energy cost of 80.
Elemental Burst Gives Additional Damage to Bloom & Buffs EM for Kaveh
Kaveh's Elemental Burst gives additional damage to Bloom and Lunar-Bloom up to 49.5% at Level 10. His Passive effect related to his Burst can increase Kaveh's EM by 100.
Bloom Ownership and Why Kaveh Can Be Hard to Use in Bloom
Despite having a kit geared for Bloom, Kaveh's Bloom ownership is low since Nilou makes Dendro Cores explode faster and the Sub-DPS characters have faster attack frequency than Kaveh due to Claymore character's slower attack speed.
ATK Speed Buffers Can Be Used
One way to increase Kaveh's Bloom ownership is to let him attack more via Attack Speed Buffers. He also has no ICD for Dendro Application in his Infusion state. Dahlia is the only ATK speed buffer in the limited Element roster Bloom uses.
Elemental Skill, Burst and Abilities Guide for Kaveh
How To Use Kaveh's Skills & Passives?
A Burst-Focused DPS That Uses Bloom Reaction
Kaveh is a character that uses Elemental Burst boost the damage of Bloom while fighting as an on-field DPS. While on Elemental Burst, Normal and Charged Attack will be infused with Dendro so having a Hydro character on-field will allow Kaveh to easily produce Bloom reaction. Take note that this does not include Hyperbloom or Burgeon.
Effect Of Elemental Burst
---
- Upon activation, make all blooms around you explode. - Gives Dendro infusion to Kaveh's Normal, Charged and Plunge Attacks. └ Increases AoE & Resistance to Interruption. - Increase the Bloom DMG of whole team. └Does not include Burgeon & Hyperbloom. 【Passive】 - Increase EM by 25 every hit of Normal/Charge/Plunge Attacks. └Once every 0.1 sec. (Max 4 Stacks)
Elemental Skill Makes Bloom Instantly Explode
Similar to Elemental Burst, upon using the Elemental Skill, all the blooms around the area of the skill will immediately trigger. The skill itself does not have huge damage so it is better to treat it as a 'switch' to trigger blooms.
Kaveh Heals From Rupture Damage Of Bloom Reactions
Because of the passive of Kaveh, the rupture from Bloom which normally damages your player will instead heal Kaveh. If you are using Kaveh as an on-field character on Bloom teams, you do not need to care about the damage from Blooms. While dependent on the situation, you can also play Bloom Teams without relying on healers.
Works Well With Nilou
The passive healing and buff of Kaveh works with the Bloom made by Nilou's skill. The damage buff applies to all team members furthering the damage of Blooms. When playing Nilou teams, remember that you have Kaveh as a Dendro option.
Should You Pull for Kaveh's Constellation Or Best Weapon?
C6 is an Upgrade in Bloom Teams But Not Necessary
Constellation Priority
---
C6 > C4 > C1
C1 is a Good Stopping Point
Kaveh's first constellations slightly improves his survivability to Bloom damage, which can be a viable stopping point since Kaveh is usable in a Bloom team even at C0. If you would like to further improve his functionality as a Bloom-oriented carry, you can choose to go all the way to C6, since this makes hitting normal attack-related actions on an enemy while his burst is active triggers "Pairidaeza's Light", dealing AoE Dendro damage and popping any Blooms within the same AoE.
Note that after C6, using him in non-Bloom related teams may prove difficult due to his burst now triggering bloom cores a lot more consistently over his pre-C6 version, which can only detonate the Blooms on the initial Burst cast. In teams that do not utilize Bloom, you would prefer to use his skill and his Dendro attacks while his Burst is active to trigger other Dendro-reactions, such as Hyperbloom. If you want to keep Kaveh's flexibility as a Dendro character, feel free to stop at any other constellation level instead.
