Emblem Of Severed Fate VS Vourukasha's Glow

Vourukasha's Glow will produce more damage in all aspects of Dehya's Kit from Elemental Skill up to Elemental Burst but the up-time will be terrible since Dehya has a very high Elemental Burst Cost. Emblem Of Severed Fate will increase damage based on Energy Recharge enabling you to keep a high up-time of Elemental Burst while increasing its damage. The damage from Elemental Skill will be low, however.

Energy Recharge For Burst Uptime

Energy Recharge is vital in this build since most of Dehya's damage as the main DPS comes from her Burst. If you cannot utilize her Burst frequently, having good CRIT stat ratio would be wasted.

Focus On Increasing HP

Support Dehya needs a lot of HP for maximum tank capabilities. Tenacity Of The Millelith is good for additional buff for the team but if there are other substitutes, Noblesse Oblige is also good as it can give an ATK buff to the team.

CRIT Rate With Favonius Greatsword

If you are using Favonius Greatsword to Dehya as support, having a good CRIT Rate can optimize the weapon's passive. The elemental particles produced is also beneficial to other team members.

Allows Coordinated Attack & A Decent Replacement For Shields

Elemental Skill of Dehya will create a field that can do coordinated attack similar to Albedo's Elemental Skill.

Greatly Increases The Resistance To Interruption

▲Works well with characters that has low resistance to interruption.

Characters inside the area of Dehya's Elemental Skill will have their DMG reduced and their resistance to interruption greatly increased. The damage does not completely disappear but rather, Dehya will take it instead.

Repositioning The AoE Does Not Refresh Duration

You can reposition the AoE by recasting the Skill or using Burst while the AoE is active. However, its duration does not refresh even after repositioning so if the enemy is stationary, you can disregard the repositioning.

Damaged Received By Dehya Can Be Healed

Through the passive, "Stalwart And True", once Dehya's HP is 40% and below, Dehya will continuously heal herself for 10 seconds. Take note that this effect only happens on Dehya and not her teammates.

Uses Of Dehya's Elemental Burst

Automatic Attack Towards The Enemy

After activating the Elemental Burst of Dehya, she will automatically attack towards the enemy. This is an automatic attack so it does not trigger Yelan or Xingqiu's skill.

Tap Normal Attack Button For Faster Combos

▲Get additional 10 more hits by pressing the NA button.

While the attack itself is automatic, if you tap the Normal Attack button, the speed of the punches will be faster enabling you to land more hits to opponents.

Executing The Final Kick That Ends The Combo

You can end Dehya's Burst early by sprinting followed by jump. You need to jump while in the middle of sprinting animation to execute this. Failing to get the perfect timing for jump will just end the combo without the final kick.

Beacon of the Reed Sea is a Decent Generalist Weapon

Since Dehya is a standard character, getting her constellations after failing to secure the rate-up limited 5-star is very possible, but not guaranteed. Conversely, her weapon was not added to the standard banner pool and may only appear during Chronicled Wish banners. Prior to getting Dehya's C6, it'll generally be better to consider getting Beacon of the Reed Sea since its a 5-star claymore with a Crit Rate substat that can be used as a stat-stick on other claymore DPS characters.

C1 > C2 > Beacon of the Reed Sea

C1 is a Good Stopping Point

Dehya's constellations do improve her damage potential, but you will likely not notice a significant improvement in her performance before C6, where she can become your main carry. C1 improves her tanking and sustain abilities and will be a good stopping point for those who would want to use her in place of a shield character.
