Citlali Allows for More Melt Triggers

Unlike her competitors, Citlali has the longest Off-Field Cryo application duration which is also not limited to a select area. The AoE of her Cryo application is also fairly wide, and she provides a shield to boot, making her one of Arlecchino's best pairings for a Melt team due to inherent synergy. The only downside is that the optimal rotation requires you to wait in-between Normal Attack inputs for Arlecchino, since Citlali doesn't apply Cryo faster than Arlecchino can apply Pyro.

Rotation Of Melt Arlecchino

Arlecchino will always want to use her Elemental Skill first in order for her passive to turn the Blood-Debt Directives into Blood-Debt Dues, which provide more Bond of Life percent and therefor allow her to have longer infusion duration. Arlecchino's combo with Citlali has a soft requirement wherein she needs to wait in between Normal Attack sequences so she doesn't overwhelm Citlali's application with Pyro, which can lead to lower DPS since Citlali would end up triggering the Melt instead.

Bennett	Iansan	- Bennett is Arlecchino's most ideal teammage because he gives a generous ATK% buff and activates Pyro resonance, which is a large boost of ATK% overall. There usually aren't any better alternatives. - Iansan's ATK% buff is tied to movement, which Arlecchino can achieve with dash cancels, in theory. But her buff is going to be lower overall since you lose Pyro resonance.
Xilonen	Kazuha Sucrose Zhongli Lan Yan	- The fourth slot is usually going to be a supportive character that can provide additional buffs, shields or RES shred. - Kazuha and Sucrose both fulfill the RES shred by equipping Viridescent Venerer. Sucrose gives an EM buff, while Kazuha provides an Elemental DMG% bonus. - Zhongli brings a durable shield and Elemental RES shred, similar to Xilonen. - Lan Yan's shield is a little less durable but she can also hold Viridescent Venerer and Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers, like Sucrose.

Bennett is sometimes non-negotiable for Arlecchino, but he is fortunately available for purchase at Paimon's Bargain on a specific month, and even at C0 he provides so much for Arlecchino that it's recommended to secure yourself a Bennett however you can, if you haven't already. Citlali is a lot more replaceable in comparison, but the substitutes will result in a decrease in performance and a loss of the shield utility.

Focuses On Dealing Vaporize Damage

Arlecchino's Vape team is normally composed of an Hydro Off-Field DPS like Yelan and is ideally complimented by Bennett for his ATK% buff and an extra buffer or shielder. Having a shield leans more into comfort, while adding an Elemental RES shredder like Kazuha with Viridescent Venerer increases the damage output at the cost of comfort.

Rotation Of Vaporize Arlecchino

This team is a little less intensive when it comes to Arlecchino's combo, allowing you to execute her Normal Attack (x3) into a Dash cancel without having to pause, unlike in her Melt team. Zhongli is usually deployed towards the end

Xingqiu is the closest in terms of application, but lacks the DMG% buff in contrast. - Candace's C6 gives her Off-Field AoE Hydro application, which pairs well with Arlecchino's naturally wide Normal Attack range. - Furina can be a choice provided you fill the team with sustain options and a shielder, since Furina will drastically lower Arlecchino's HP as part of her kit.

Lan Yan is similar in functionality, but has a shield to compensate for lack of buffs. - Xilonen shreds Elemental RES as well, and has some healing with her Elemental Burst, which isn't ideal for Arlecchino but if you don't need a shield she is one of the better options.

The fourth slot of this team is typically going to be occupied by a buffer or extra sustain character. But if you find yourself lacking the substitute characters, you can flex an Electro character like Fischl to contribute her own personal DPS and to trigger Overload and Electro-Charged as well. This results in a non-negligible increase in team DPS due to the inclusion of these reactions, but you lose out on the defensive utility that a shielder could bring.

Only Electro & Pyro Characters Can Be Used

Chevreuse allows Overload teams to deal competitive DPS due to her Pyro and Electro RES Shred, attack buffs at C0, and DMG% bonus for said elements with C6. But adding her to a team limits it to only Pyro and Electro characters, since her passive that provides the RES Shred is only active when the party includes two elements exclusively. It's highly recommended to build the team with these restrictions in mind, alongside the fact that you have to continually trigger the Overload reaction so the RES Shred is constantly applied.

Rotation Of Overload Arlecchino

Holding Chevreuse's Elemental Skill activates her passive that provides a modest ATK% buff to the party, so it's recommended to always favor using the Hold version of her skill over the Tap version whenever possible.

Fischl	Ororon Kuki Shinobu Lisa Raiden Shogun	- You need a source of Off-Field Electro in order to trigger Overload consistently to maintain the RES shred from Chevreuse's passive. - Despite being built for Electro-Charged, Ororon's Electro application is AoE and plentiful enough to consistently trigger the Overload reaction. - Raiden Shogun would only deploy her Skill since there isn't much room to fit her Elemental Burst combo into this team's optimal rotation.
Bennett	Iansan Thoma Dehya Beidou	- The last slot is usually dedicated to an additional buffer or sustain unit. - Iansan is the offensive option since she provides an ATK buff like Bennett, but will have less healing overall. - Thoma and Dehya are more defensive choices if you find yourself constantly at low HP. - Beidou is also a defensive option, but is best paired with Fischl due to her high Energy requirements.
Chevreuse	-	- Chevreuse is what makes this team viable into endgame content due to all her buffs, so she has no good alternative.

There isn't any feasible Chevreuse substitute for almost every good Overload team, so it's recommended to only consider running this comp once you've gotten a copy of Chevreuse. The damage just isn't worth it in comparison to Melt or Vaporize without her.

Mono-Pyro Arlecchino

Good Into Pyro-Weak Content

Mono-teams are an umbrella term for comps that are predominantly composed of 1 element, in this case Pyro, with the last slot being an Elemental RES shredder. In the sample above, Kazuha equips the Viridescent Venerer set to shred Pyro by triggering a Pyro Swirl. He also adds an additional Elemental DMG% bonus from his own passive by doing so. This type of team is viable into content that is at least Pyro-Weak or not completely invulnerable to Pyro.

Most of the damage is coming from the raw numbers in Arlecchino and Xiangling's kit, which can perform well if you've invested a decent amount into either.

Rotation Of Mono-Pyro Arlecchino

Because this team example has no shielder, making use of Arlecchino's Burst for healing may become an important part of the rotation. Remember that it clears her current Bond of Life percentage, so time its usage wisely.

Since Arlecchino applies plenty of Pyro just by herself, Emilie is able to contribute a good amount of her own DPS, due to it relying on the Burning reaction being maintained.
Kazuha	Sucrose Lynette Lan Yan Zhongli Xilonen	- Any Anemo character that can hold Viridescent Venerer to shred enemy Pyro RES are good substitutes for Kazuha, though they might lack the DMG% buff in comparison. - You can also make use of other Elemental RES shredders like Zhongli, who also provides a shield, or Xilonen, whose healing isn't very useful for Arlecchino, but can still be good for the rest of the team.
Bennett	Yanfei	- There isn't any suitable replacement for Bennett in most of Arlecchino's teams due to his large ATK% buff. Any subsitute is a downgrade at best. - Yanfei with Thrilling Tales (R5) can provide a modest ATK buff, provided you swap into Arlecchino immediately after her. Her shield at C4, with enough Energy Recharge and HP, can be serviceable.

The damage potential of a Mono-Pyro team is significantly less than Arlecchino's other options, but may be necessary if you're up against certain enemies that favor it, such as the Lava Dragon Statue.
