The content in this article assumes Varka scales on ATK like Chasca, a similar Anemo DPS that can deal multi-elemental DMG. It is also assumed that Varka likely has a unique team comp passive, given that the Version 6.4 Livestream showcased certain team comps for him.

Varka is similar to Chasca and can deal different Elemental DMG aside from Anemo. He likely scales on ATK like Chasca and other Anemo DPS characters. Considering the livestream showcased certain team comps with two Anemo and two characters of the same PHEC Element, it's likely that he has a team passive restriction as well.

As a Hexerei character, Varka can benefit from both Durin and Venti's abilities even if he doesn't scale on ATK. Since it's likely Varka needs 2 Anemo and 2 same PHEC Elements, Pyro Resonance can buff ATK for Varka and Bennett will be a great support and healer for him.

Cryo Resonance may prove to be a good alternative to Double Pyro since the 15% CRIT Rate can work with the Rising Winds set to allow Varka to build more CRIT DMG. However, its buff is reliant on enemies being afflicted with Cryo, making it a weaker option compared to Varka's Double Pyro team.

When replacing the Cryo characters, any of them can hold Scroll set aside from Citlali even if the effect is much weaker though Venti already holds VV in this team. The best alternative character for Cryo is Citlali and either Mika or Rosaria.

If you don't have good Pyro or Cryo characters to pair with Varka, a Double Hydro team can be a good option, especially with Furina who can both buff and deal significant damage. Sigewinne can be included to further buff the damage of both Furina and Varka, assuming Varka's Special Charged Attack scales with his Elemental Skill.

When substituting characters, make sure at least one Hexerei character is used (Venti or Mona) and if Furina is on the team, bring at least one good healer to offset her HP drain. A shielder can also be used but a healer is preferred due to Furina's HP drain.
