Odette is a 5-star, off-field Cryo Sword user in Genshin Impact. Her main source of damage is her Skill, which creates a Solo Dance Double. The Double initially deals only Cryo DMG, but after Odette uses her special Skill, it can deal Stellar Glimmer DMG based on her "Radiance: Stellar Glimmer" state.

Her Stellar Linchpin enables both Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl for her team. Additionally, she can buff her teammates' Stellar Glimmer DMG.

Stellar Reaction Support and Sub-DPS

Odette Genshin Impact

Odette is a 5-star Cryo Support who enables her party to trigger Stellar reactions with her Stellar Linchpin. She also functions as a Sub-DPS, using her Skill to summon a dancing clone that attacks nearby opponents.

The clone's initial attacks deal Cryo DMG, but can be converted to Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl DMG after Odette uses her Skill again.

Pros and Cons of Off-Field Stellar Reaction Support and Sub-DPS Odette

Pros
- Easy to play, as her off-field role only requires her to use her Skill and Burst before swapping out.
- The first Off-Field Stellar Linchpin user, enabling existing DPS characters and teams to access the new Stellar Glimmer reactions.
- Her Off-Field Cryo application allows Electro and Anemo DPS characters to trigger Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl reactions respectively.
Cons
- No sustain abilities, so most Stellar teams would still need a shielder or healer.
- Only a few DPS characters can fully utilize her Stellar DMG% buff, as it boosts direct Stellar Glimmer DMG instead of the base reaction damage.
- Burst does not deal Stellar-Conduct DMG.

Best Build for Odette

In her teams, Odette fits the role of a Stellar Reaction enabler, buffer, and Sub-DPS. Her best performance is alongside a dedicated Stellar Reaction DPS while being built with a focus on offensive stats like CRIT. See below for our top recommendations:

Like other damage-type characters, Odette would prefer to be built with a balanced CRIT Rate to CRIT DMG ratio (1:2) for the best average damage-per-second (DPS). Aiming for around 2,400 ATK will let you max out her Stellar Jubilee passive that increases the base DMG of all Stellar Glimmer Reactions.

Energy Recharge Is Not a Priority

The Dance Double extension and personal damage buff she gets after using her Burst is nice to have, but you can get similar or equal DPS results by skipping her Burst entirely or using it every other rotation instead. This allows you to focus on getting more CRIT sub-stats over Energy Recharge on Odette's Artifacts.

Best Weapon for Odette

Since many of her abilities highlight her personal damage, Odette will naturally prefer weapons that will further increase her DPS potential. All weapon suggestions are usable in either Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl teams. See below for our top recommendations:

Premium Weapons for Odette

- Odette's Signature Weapon.
- A CRIT Rate main-stat weapon that provides ATK%, CRIT DMG, and DMG% buffs to all Stellar Glimmer Reactions. These buffs are triggered when the wielder hits an enemy with their Skill.
- The weapon also has a modest Energy restoration effect that Odette has no trouble maintaining throughout combat.
- This sword is more focused on Odette's personal damage, and it is undoubtedly tailored to make her more efficient in her role as a Sub-DPS.
- However, the difference in performance between her Signature and other CRIT swords is marginal, especially since Odette's Burst is not extremely necessary to her overall DPS. It is only slightly above other weapons on this list.

- These are CRIT main-stat weapons with high base ATK and some form of ATK% buff. Since Odette scales with ATK, these will be serviceable alternatives to her Signature.

- Other CRIT swords with suboptimal increases from their passives, such as generic DMG% buffs.
- These will function more like stat-sticks where you equip them primarily to increase Odette's CRIT Rate or DMG.
- While having a functional passive is ideal, a damage character like Odette would still appreciate the higher CRIT Ratio you can achieve with these weapons.
4thFreedom-SwornFreedom-SwornGet from Limited Banners
- A supportive, Elemental Mastery (EM) main-stat sword with a passive that increases the team's ATK% and provides non-Stellar-DMG% buffs.
- Despite having an ATK% buff, the lack of CRIT and low base ATK makes this sword less effective for Odette, who should primarily be DPS-oriented.
- Buffing your On-Field DPS may seem appealing, but since Stellar Reactions are not affected by the DMG% from this weapon, its utility will be halved and therefore less ideal than any other CRIT sword.
Note! As a rule of thumb, any passive that increases DMG will not buff Odette unless it is specified as "Stellar DMG%". This is due to how Stellar Reactions and their damage are calculated.

Since Odette is more of a damage dealer than a support, she performs best when equipped with an offensive weapon, even if she cannot make full use of the passive. Any CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG main-stat sword will be a viable, if not optimal, choice for her, since most of her abilities are centered on dealing Stellar and Cryo DMG to nearby enemies and will greatly benefit from more CRIT (and ATK).

For Free-to-Play options, most craftable swords are viable, with ATK% weapons being favored. The Snezhnaya craftable is Odette's go-to choice once you unlock the recipe, with the Fontaine craftable being a decent alternative.

Odette Best Artifacts

Odette's designated niche is to serve as a Sub-DPS with some supportive utility, so she typically favors sets that increase her DPS output and/or buffing value for her intended teams. See below for our top recommendations:

- New Artifact sets that were released in Version 7.0 alongside Snezhnaya.
- Heart of the Furnace is a Stellar-Conduct-focused set that increases the equipping character's ATK and boosts the party's Stellar Glimmer DMG.
- Scarlet Proof is a Stellar Swirl-oriented set that grants the equipping character CRIT Rate and increases their Stellar Swirl DMG.
- Both sets are Odette's great overall choices for either Stellar team type. Equip the set that best fits the team you will deploy her in.
- Note: In Stellar Swirl teams with a DPS that can deal direct Stellar-Swirl DMG (like Mizuki), it may be better to give Odette Furnace over Proof.

- A Stellar-Conduct and Superconduct Artifact set that grants the equipping character relevant DMG% buffs and additional CRIT Rate against enemies affected by these reactions.

- The setup is not strict, and you can also use any combination of Elemental Mastery and ATK% 2-piece set artifacts.

Prioritize Offensive Stats

Odette's main source of damage is her Elemental Skill. While her Elemental Burst can also contribute, it's often more effective to prioritize offensive stats like CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK%, and Elemental Mastery (EM) over Energy Recharge. These stats will directly boost the DPS output of her Dance Double.

- The fourth slot is flexible, but Alyosha (who can heal) is an accessible alternative to Qiqi and Escoffier for the sustain and secondary buffer role.

Odette fits well into a Stellar-Conduct team with Sandrone as the On-Field DPS, filling a slot that was previously flexible. As Odette provides both damage and utility, this team composition boasts high, competitive DPS, quickly making it a top-tier meta team.

Alyosha's slot on this team is flexible. Qiqi, especially at high Constellations, is a comparable or even better option.

Odette's Team Rotations and Combos

Basic Team Rotation for Off-Field Sub-DPS and Support Odette

Basic Rotation For Off-Field Sub-DPS and Support Odette
1. Start the rotation with the Off-Field characters in order of longest ability duration to shortest.
└ Odette should be deployed first or second since her Dance Double has a decently long duration.

2. Swap to Odette. Use her Skill, then Burst (this is optional).
3. Swap to other supports with shorter ability durations or those that are best deployed right before the On-Field DPS.
└ For example, a catalyst user with Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers equipped.

4. Switch to your On-Field DPS to execute their damage combo.
5. Repeat from Step 1.

Odette follows the same rotation pattern as other Off-Field characters: activate her essential abilities, then swap out. Her Burst is not an essential ability for her combo and can be used every other rotation or skipped entirely.

Basics of Using Odette (Beginner Guide)

Odette Genshin Impact

Sub-DPS and Support for Stellar Reactions

As a character with Off-Field Cryo DMG and a Stellar Linchpin, Odette is designed to be a complementary Off-Field teammate in Stellar Reaction teams.

Her most obvious use cases are as a strong teammate addition for dedicated Stellar DPSes while also allowing older, buffed characters, like Wriothesley and Cyno, to deal Stellar DMG or to activate Stellar-related abilities.

Stellar Linchpin Enables Stellar Reactions

Odette is one of the few characters that is confirmed to have a Stellar Linchpin instead of a Vision, which, like Moonwheels for Lunar Reactions, is what lets her and her teammates convert existing reactions into their Stellar variant.

Note! With the introduction of Stellar Swirl, everything related to the Stellar reactions, including the damage they deal, is collectively called Stellar Glimmer.

Enter Radiance States Through Stellar Reactions

Radiance: Stellar Glimmer State Effects
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct State
Cryo plus ElectroCryo + ElectroWhen Stellar-Conduct is triggered, it places a star-like construct called a Starlight Prism on the ground. The Prism then causes a certain area around it to become a Polestar Field. So long as the active character remains within this field, Odette and her other teammates will be in the Radiance: Stellar state that corresponds to the triggered reaction.
Radiance: Stellar Swirl State
Cryo plus AnemoCryo + AnemoWhen Stellar Swirl is triggered, it creates a Stellar Vortex near the affected enemy. The Vortex will explode, dealing Cryo DMG, at a set interval. Every time the Stellar Swirl happens, the level and damage of the Vortex and its ensuing explosion is increased. Triggering the reaction the first time also causes the party to enter the Radiance: Stellar Swirl state.

The additional bonuses or enabled abilities granted by the Radiance state vary from character to character. For Odette, she needs to be in a Radiance State for her special Skill and Dance Double to deal Stellar Glimmer DMG in addition to their existing Cryo hits.

Skill Creates Dance Double

Odette Genshin Impact

Odette's most notable ability is her Skill, which summons a clone of herself called a Solo Dance Double that deals Cryo DMG to nearby enemies. After the first activation, her special Skill will become available to use for a short period of time.

Using the special Skill causes her to dance alongside her double, dealing Stellar-Conduct DMG once the dance ends and then over the duration of the Dance Double at certain intervals.

Note!Odette's Skill is her primary damage and Cryo application source, and her main combo has her deploy her Skill twice per rotation in quick succession.

Burst Deals Damage and Affects Skill

Odette Genshin Impact

Apart from dealing Cryo DMG, Odette's Burst not only buffs her personal Stellar Glimmer DMG, but also immediately changes her Elemental Skill into its special version. Additionally, it will refresh the duration of any existing Dance Double on the field.

Marvelous Splendor Stacks Buff Stellar Glimmer DMG

Odette's primary utility is found in her Ascension 1 Passive, which gives her four (4) stacks of Marvelous Splendor after using her Skill to deploy her Dance Double. Initially, each stack buffs her personal Stellar Glimmer DMG, allowing the activation of her special Skill to benefit from the buff.

Odette gradually loses her Splendor stacks once she goes Off-Field, with her other teammates inheriting the number of stacks she had active at the same time.

Elemental Skill, Burst and Abilities Guide for Odette

How To Use Odette's Skills & Passives?

Flexible Off-Field Stellar Reaction Teammate

Basic Rotation Of Odette
1. Begin the rotation with the other supports first, ideally starting with the supports that have longer ability durations, then shorter durations.
2. Swap to Odette. Use her Skill to summon her Dance Double. Cast it again to enable the double to deal Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl DMG.
3. (Optional) Use Odette's Burst.
4. Swap to other supports with shorter ability durations if there are any. Otherwise, field your chosen On-Field DPS to execute their damage combo.
5. Repeat from Step 1.

All of Odette's abilities and talents are related to Stellar Reactions, either by dealing Stellar DMG herself or by boosting her teammates' Stellar DMG. While she can function as a simple Cryo applicator or Sub-DPS, Odette reaches her full potential in teams that focus on dealing direct Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl DMG.

After a Stellar Swirl reaction is triggered, certain nearby characters will also enter the Radiance: Stellar Swirl effect for 8s, which enhances certain Talents and skill effects.
Certain characters can use their Talents to deal Stellar Swirl reaction DMG to opponents. This DMG can trigger CRIT Hits.

- Triggering multiple Stellar Swirls will increase the Vortex's size, level, and explosion DMG.

Like other Stellar Linchpin holders, Odette transforms certain reactions into their Stellar form after the necessary Elements are applied to an enemy. Each Stellar Reaction has different effects, but both have specific Radiance states tied to them. Odette and her party members will enter these states after the corresponding Stellar reaction is triggered.

Additionally, Odette has a passive similar to Sandrone's that increases the base damage of Stellar Reactions according to her primary scaling stat, which is ATK%. Odette will need 2,400 ATK to fully max out the DMG% bonus from her Stellar Jubilee passive.

Note!Stellar-Conduct follows the same formula trends as Lunar Reactions. The only DMG% buffs that boost it are those labeled as "Stellar DMG%". This means that items like Elemental goblets or passives that grant Skill DMG% are suboptimal for Odette.

The Dance Double will initially only attack enemies with Cryo DMG at set intervals. It will not deal Stellar DMG until Odette activates her Skill's defining feature: the ability to use it twice.

The second cast of her Elemental Skill is considered Odette's special Skill. Once activated, the Double will periodically deal direct Stellar DMG to enemies alongside its initial Cryo DMG hits, making this Odette's hardest-hitting ability overall.

Apart from being a source of damage, Odette's Elemental Burst is similar to the post-buff version of Yae Miko's, as it is a means to refresh or extend the duration of her deployable, which in this case is her Dance Double.

The ability will also let you immediately use Odette's special Skill. Additionally, Odette's Burst grants her an effect that increases her personal Stellar DMG after activation.

Note!Odette's Burst has many decent quality-of-life features relating to her Skill, but choosing to deprioritize her Burst by focusing on CRIT and ATK% stats over Energy Recharge for her Artifacts is a valid, if not optimal, way of building Odette.

Increase Her Stellar DMG Through Her ATK Stat

Ascension 4 Passive Description
IconAscension 4 Passive Description

One of Odette's passives directly buffs her personal Stellar DMG based on her ATK stat. To fully maximize this passive, Odette will need to have at least 3,000 ATK. This can be achieved through a high base ATK weapon, appropriate ATK% Artifact pieces, and team-wide ATK buffs from her teammates.

Reaching the limit of this passive isn't extremely necessary, however. You can simply settle for whatever ATK amount Odette has after you hit the limit of her ▲ Stellar Jubilee passive, which is 2,400 ATK, and still gain a decent DMG% buff.

Off-Field Effect
After Odette goes Off-Field:
- She loses 1 stack of Marvelous Splendor every 1s.
- Other nearby party members gain the corresponding number of Marvelous Splendor stacks at the same time.

Most of Odette's innate buffing utility comes from this passive. After creating her Dance Double, Odette gains a few stacks of Marvelous Splendor. These stacks increase her Stellar DMG, but they will also slowly transfer to her other teammates when she leaves the field.

Note!Since the stacks affect the other party members (and not just the active character), it is best to pair Odette with Off-Field Sub-DPSes who can take advantage of the increased Stellar DMG buff.

Special Idle Allows Her to Perform More Pirouettes

Odette Genshin Impact

Odette has a special, interactable idle animation where she starts spinning in place. Activating her Skill during this animation allows her to perform more spins or pirouettes. This interaction is not infinite, and Odette will eventually stop dancing after a certain number of spins.

Should You Pull for Odette's Constellation Or Best Weapon?

Prioritize Odette's Constellations

Signature VS Constellations
C2 > C1 > Whitelake FrostfeatherWhitelake Frostfeather

C2 is a Good Stopping Point

Odette's constellations provide numerous improvements to her own and the team's overall damage. Without considering her C6, her C2 provides the most significant increase in overall damage.

Her C2, in conjunction with her C1, provides a noticeable jump in team DPS compared to her C0 performance. The Marvelous Splendor stacks also buff the active character's ATK, and the enemy's Cryo and either Electro or Anemo RES are reduced by 20% depending on which Radiance: Stellar Glimmer state she is in.

C1 allows Odette to deal additional Stellar Glimmer damage with her Special Elemental Skill depending on her Radiance: Stellar Glimmer state. It also provides 2 additional stacks of Marvelous Splendor with a faster falloff rate, allowing the active character to gain a stronger Stellar Glimmer DMG buff more quickly.

Her Signature Weapon, Whitelake Frostfeather, provides CRIT Rate, ATK, Stellar Glimmer DMG, and Energy Recovery. However, its performance is on par with other similar CRIT-based weapons like Absolution and Azurelight. Even the Snezhnayan Craftable Sword, Emberwell, can be a sufficient substitute despite its Elemental Mastery main-stat.

Adagio: Phantom Night Dancers (Elemental Skill)

Effect
With slow, graceful dance steps, Odette deals AoE Cryo DMG to the opponent, and also summons her Solo Dance Double to the field.
If a Dance Double summoned by Odette is already on the field, this will re-summon the Dance Double and reset its duration.
Solo Dance Double
Alternates between the Plume and Wing dance moves, periodically attacking nearby opponents and dealing to them AoE Cryo DMG.
Additionally, for 6s after unleashing the Elemental Skill Adagio: Phantom Night Dancers, Odette's Elemental Skill Adagio: Phantom Night Dancers will become the special Elemental Skill Adagio: Coda at Dawn's Tolling instead, where a dance duet deals AoE Cryo DMG to nearby opponents over time. Then, when the duet ends, she deals another instance of AoE Cryo DMG that is considered Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl DMG.

Adagio: Coda at Dawn’s Tolling (Special Elemental Skill)

Effect
Odette’s special Elemental Skill, which deals to nearby opponents AoE Cryo DMG over time. Then, when the dance duet ends, she deals another instance of AoE Cryo DMG that is considered Stellar-Conduct DMG. During the dance duet, Odette can control the direction of the dance steps.
Radiance: Stellar Glimmer: The DMG dealt when the dance duet ends is changed to AoE Cryo DMG of the corresponding Stellar reaction type.
Additionally, after Odette unleashes the special Elemental Skill Adagio: Coda at Dawn’s Tolling, should she be in the Radiance: Stellar Glimmer state while her Dance Double is still on the field, the Dance Double‘s two dance moves types will also deal additional AoE Cryo DMG of the corresponding Stellar reaction type.

Who Is Odette?

Prima Ballerina of the Korolevskiy Troupe

Odette - Voice Actors

As stated in official sources, Odette leads various ballets in Snezhnograd, the capital city of Snezhnaya as the Prima Ballerina of the Korolevskiy Troupe. This makes Vodyanitsa, the Prima Soprano of the same troupe, her colleague and possible associate.

Active Fatui Member

Odette Genshin Impact

It has been stated that apart from being a ballerina, Odette is also a regular Fatui member who receives and executes missions that are implied to involve some form of combat, which is further backed up by her appearance in the Snezhnaya Trailer with a dagger in hand.

She was under La Signora's tutelage up until the latter's death.

Likely a Reference to Swan Lake

Odette is shown wearing a ballerina's dress and has bird-like elements such as feathers in her outfit. While her outfit is primarily white, her reappearance in the trailer has black feathers scattered next to her.
