Odette Performs Best In Stellar Teams

Odette is a strong Cryo enabler for all two Stellar Glimmer Reactions. She plays mostly as a Sub-DPS with a bit of buffing thanks to her Marvelous Splendor Stacks.

Stellar Glimmer Reactions

The official umbrella term for both Stellar reactions is Stellar Glimmer.

Stellar-Conduct builds on Superconduct as the base reaction, requiring Electro and Cryo application, but flips its mechanics so that rather than dealing damage, Stellar-Conduct deploys a special area called the Polestar Field that gives Cryo and Electro DMG% to the party while simultaneously lowering the Physical RES of the enemies inside the field.

Stellar Swirl, on the other hand, is converted from Cryo Swirl. Rather than a Polestar Field, this reaction creates a Stellar Vortex that deals damage after exploding and at intervals. The damage and range of the vortex increases the more Stellar Swirls are triggered.

Remaining within the bounds of this Polestar field enables the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state, while triggering a single Stellar Swirl already applies the Radiance: Stellar Swirl state. The state is active for the entire party and depending on their abilities, this state grants each character specific buffs or advantages.

Odette naturally has innate synergy with Sandrone and Yae Miko, who both benefit from her teamwide Stellar Reaction DMG% increase from her passive. This buff is especially important for this team setup that has more than one main damage dealer, being Sandrone and Miko. Being able to buff both will very clearly increase the damage potential of this already meta-competitive Stellar-Conduct team.

Yae Miko	Beidou Fischl Alyosha	- Yae Miko currently has no real competition for the Off-Field Electro slot in terms of raw DPS. This is due to her damage output being significant enough that she contributes around 30-40% of the total team DPS. Expect the alternatives to have lower damage potential. - However, it is also possible to deploy Beidou, who also received similar buffs, as a passable but weaker Miko alternative if you do not have her or do not want to wish for her. - Fischl can be paired alongside Nicole to activate the Hexerei Resonance Effect, which can be good if you have Nicole's Signature Weapon. But otherwise, the increase is marginal in comparison to Miko's damage output. - Alyosha can also fill in the role of Electro applicator since his Burst hits are able to sustain the Stellar-Conduct reaction and the stacks associated with it. His personal damage cannot compare to Miko's however.

This team utilizes Wriothesley as the On-Field Stellar-Conduct DPS. Due to his HP drain mechanics, a healer like Alyosha or Escoffier will have some anti-synergy with his intended playstyle.

A shielder like Nicole is far more preferable, and she is projected to be the strongest option over the rest thanks to her generous teamwide ATK buff that will benefit Wriothesley, Miko and Odette all at the same time.

Cyno is one of the three On-Field DPSes that can deal direct Stellar-Conduct DMG, and this is a result of him receiving kit adjustments through the Witch's Revelation system. His Stellar-Conduct setup is very similar to Wriothesley's, but for different reasons.

While he can work with a healer like Alyosha just fine, Nicole's shield will feel more comfortable to play with due to Cyno's lack of strong interruption resistance while in his Pactsworn or Elemental Burst state. This is far easier to deal with than Wriothesley's HP mechanics, however, so Cyno doesn't need or want Nicole on his team as much.

However, it is expected for her to still result in the highest DPS potential thanks to her teamwide ATK% buff that will boost all three damage-dealers' performance.

Version 7.0 introduces Stellar Swirl as a new Stellar Reaction alongside Stellar-Conduct. When Anemo is applied to a target affected by Cryo, this reaction creates a Stellar Vortex that deals damage after exploding and at intervals. The damage and range of the vortex increases the more Stellar Swirls are triggered.

After completing Mizuki's Witch's Revelation buff, she will gain the ability to deal direct Stellar Swirl damage, so she is the most appropriate choice for On-Field DPS.

Mizuki	Varka Wanderer Ifa Shikanoin Heizou Venti	- Until they release a dedicated Stellar Swirl DPS, Mizuki is projected to be the best option for the On-Field role. - The alternatives are Anemo characters that can trigger Swirl consistently.
Sucrose	C6 Faruzan Qiqi Diona Lan Yan	- Sucrose's Elemental Mastery (EM) sharing is still very relevant in Stellar Swirl teams, but she can also be replaced by synergistic Stellar Reaction supports or other characters that can shred Anemo/Cryo by equipping the Viridescent Venerer set. - A secondary Anemo character is also pivotal for vortex generation since Stellar Swirl requires consistent Swirl triggers. - If you have Faruzan's Constellation 6 (C6), the results should be far better than Sucrose in this slot.

Yae Miko and Odette should be capable of dealing a decent of amount of Off-Field DPS, due to their inherent synergy with one another, so that they can be paired or driven by an On-Field DPS that can help sustain the Stellar-Conduct reaction's stacks.

Note that the Stellar-Conduct reaction takes into account the amount of Cryo or Electro applied to enemies, then stores this as energy. In practice, this not only increases the amount of additional Cryo/Electro DMG% bonus given by the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state, but also boosts Stellar-Conduct DMG in general.

A fast attacker like Lohen can therefore be played alongside Odette and Miko to serviceable results. Having Nicole on the team activates Lohen's Hexerei passive that enables him to fully use both his Signature Weapon and the 4-piece effect from the Rising Winds set.
