Ifa is a Swirl reaction driver that has good synergy with Electro-Charged. He can be used as Burst sub-DPS/support if wanting to make use of his Crowd Control in his Burst. He is best paired with another Natlan character if using him as on-fielder so he can increase the damage of his own Swirls.

When building Ifa as an on-field reaction driver, Viridescent Venerer is recommended since it is able to increase the damage of his Swirls along with increasing the Elemental Damage dealt by his teammates. Building Elemental Mastery will allow him to further increase Swirl damage while Energy Recharge gives Ifa some of Crowd Control so that enemies remain grouped up for damaging.

2nd | ![]() | Get from Limited Banner - Elemental Mastery substat is good for increasing Ifa's Swirl damage. - A full non-Anemo team can increase Ifa's Elemental damage by 30%, allowing his Anemo attacks (excluding Swirl) to deal more damage. |

4th | ![]() | Get from Banners - Good for increasing Ifa's Elemental Mastery for his Swirl damage. - Since Ifa doesn't deal damage with his Skill, he is unable to trigger this weapon's effect. |

Best (Forge) | ![]() | Inazuma Forgeable (Craftable) Weapons - Allows Ifa to take on a support role while being the on-field driver for Electro-Charged. - Energy Recharge is good for his Burst uptime while the Elemental DMG buff is great for boosting the damage dealt by allies along with his artifact set. |
6th (Forge) | ![]() | Forgeable (Craftable) Weapons - EM stat stick and can boost Ifa's non-Swirl Anemo damage since Swirl doesn't scale on Elemental damage buffs. |
For free-to-play options, Hakushin Ring is Ifa's best weapon for Electro-Charged since it can boost the Elemental Damage of Hydro and Electro teammates. Another forgeable weapon is Mappa Mare but it can only be an Elemental Mastery stat stick as Ifa's Swirls do not benefit from Anemo DMG Bonus.

- Ifa as the on-field reaction driver for Taser allows the Swirl and Electro-Charged damage to be greatly increased if another Natlan character is used along with him. - Ororon also has synergy for Electro-Charged making him the ideal partner for Ifa's total Nightsoul points passive. - Furina has powerful Hydro application and can also boost the damage dealt by the team. - Shinobu provides additional healing and can be built on EM to further boost the Electro-Charged damage she can trigger. |
While Ifa's synergy for Ororon is good since he is able to deal Nightsoul-infused damage and trigger Electro-Charged, many other Electro sub-DPS can be used like Raiden Shogun or Yae Miko. For Hydro sub-DPS options, Yelan and Xingqiu are also compatible with Ifa since his Nightsoul state attacks are considered as Normal Attacks.

Team Rotation Of Reaction Driver Ifa
Basic Rotation With Ifa |

Best Skill Order (Combo) For Ifa
Skill Usage Order Recommendation |

Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill |
Using Ifa's Burst before his Skill will enable you to gather up enemies and deal damage effectively. You can also use Ifa's Elemental Burst in between his teammates rotation if needing to gather up the enemies.
Explanation Of Ifa's Elemental Skill And Burst
Elemental Skill
Elemental Skill: Airborne Disease Prevention |
---|
- Allows Ifa to enter Nightsoul state and lifts him into the air. - Changes his Normal Attacks into Supporting Fire that can heal the team on hit. - Does not deal damage. Effects that require Elemental Skill damage like Sacrificial Fragments' Weapon Skill cannot be triggered with Ifa. |
Elemental Burst
Elemental Burst: Compound Sedation Field |
---|
- Ifa deals AoE Anemo damage in a circular field ahead of him. - Has brief Crowd Control effect that can pull enemies in. Duration is extended with his C4. |
Ifa VS Other Characters
Ifa VS Mizuki
Ifa share many similarities with Mizuki. Both are Swirl-focused Anemo reaction drivers and can heal. However, both of them has their own advantages and disadvantages that it is difficult to determine who is better. In the end, it depends on what your gameplay preference is and the variety of your roster. See below a comparison table for their differences and similarities:
Ifa VS Mizuki Comparison TableIfa | Mizuki | |
---|---|---|
Healing | Weaker healing but is consistent during DPS phase. | At C0, healing is reliant on whether the active character is below 70% HP. C4 allows her to both heal and damage using her Burst's snacks. |
AoE | Small AoE with Normal Attacks in Nightsoul state | Wider AoE attacks in Dreamdrifter state |
Crowd Control in Elemental Burst | Ifa has a smaller range in his Crowd Control but similar Crowd Control effect | Bigger range but similar Crowd Control effect |
Team Comp | Ororon is required for Taser driver Ifa. Flexible and compatible with Xingqiu, Yelan and Beidou. | Furina is the only compatible and flexible Hydro sub-DPS for Mizuki. Incompatible with Normal Attack proc sub-DPS like Xingqiu, Yelan and Beidou. |
Ease of Play | Both are easy to play and will only require a dedicated sustain since their healing isn't as consistent or good compared to dedicated healers. | |
Survivability | Ifa can hover mid-air and avoid attacks | Mizuki gains greater maneuverability in her Dreamdrifter state and can use Sprints to evade. |
Damage Buff | If Nightsoul Points Total is greater than 150, Ifa gives 225% (300% if C4) increased damage for Swirl and Electro-Charged. | Level 10 Elemental Skill gives 0.45% damage increase for Swirl per 1 point of Mizuki's EM. C2 allows Mizuki to buff the Elemental DMG dealt by her teammates. 0.04% for each point of EM she has. |
Single Target | Both performs similarly. | |
Multiple Target | Both performs similarly. |
Ifa VS Other Taser Anemo drivers
While Ifa is more similar to Mizuki in terms of their kit overlaps, other popular Anemo drivers for Taser are Sucrose and Lan Yan. Both provide various advantages for the team but the better Taser driver will rely on your sub-DPS characters, weapon availability, and
Ifa | Sucrose | Lan Yan | |
---|---|---|---|
Team Contribution | Increase Swirl & Taser damage by 225% (300% if C4) Has weak team healing while in Nightsoul state | Increases the team's EM by 50 and 20% of her own EM C6 allows Sucrose to shred RES of enemies by 20% | Powerful shield that can easily be refreshed C4 allows Lan Yan to buff the team's EM by 60 when she uses her Burst |
CC | Small Crowd Control effect and AoE in Burst. Cannot be spammed | Crowd Control in both Skills and with relatively good pulling power. Skill can be spammed with Sacrificial Fragments | Small Crowd Control effect but wider AoE in Burst. Cannot be spammed |
Weapon Suitability | Any EM Catalyst but cannot make use of Sacrificial Fragments's weapon effect. | Best with Sacrificial Fragments so she can spam her Skill. Good with any EM Catalysts | Can use either ATK% or EM Catalysts. ATK% increases her shield HP but EM increases her Skill, Burst, and Swirl damage |
Sub-DPS Compatibility | Great with long-range sub-DPS like Xingqiu or Raiden. Short-range sub-DPS like Shinobu will be difficult to use with Ifa due to his hovering state | Great with both long-range and short-range sub-DPS since Sucrose needs to be somewhat close to the enemies while on-field | Great with both long-range and short-range sub-DPS. Characters that create an aura-like effect similar to Barbara and Shinobu work great with Lan Yan since her Skill allows her to collide with enemies. |

C2 is a Good Stopping Point

C2 > C4 |
Ifa's C2 is a good stopping point since it allows him to increase the amount of Rescue Essentials he has to increase the team's Swirl and Electro-Charged damage. His C4 increases his Burst's duration and his Elemental Mastery.

Airborne Disease Prevention (Elemental Skill)
Effect |
---|
After using this skill, Ifa gains 80 Nightsoul points and enters the Nightsoul's Blessing state. In the Nightsoul's Blessing state, Ifa will hover with Cacucu's help. When he uses Normal Attacks in this state, he will use different kinds of Supporting Fire depending on whether you Tap or Hold, firing Tonicshots that are capable of healing all party members. Additionally, Holding the Elemental Skill Airborne Disease Prevention while Ifa is in Nightsoul's Blessing will cause him to use a Nightsoul-aligned Plunging Attack. Letting go of the skill button will interrupt this Plunging Attack to maintain his hover. If Ifa lands due to this Plunging Attack, his Nightsoul's Blessing state will end. |
Nightsoul's Blessing: Ifa
Effect |
---|
Continuously consumes Nightsoul points. This state will end when Ifa runs out of Nightsoul points or if he uses this skill again. His Nightsoul's Blessing state has the following properties: - Hovers with Cacucu's help, increasing Ifa's Movement SPD and interruption resistance. In this state, Ifa will continuously consume Nightsoul points to maintain this hovering state. If he sprints or accelerates, he will consume additional points. - When he uses Normal Attacks, he will use different kinds of Supporting Fire depending on whether you Tap or Hold. |
Supporting Fire

Who Is Ifa?
A Sauro-Veterinarian From Natlan
Ifa is a well-known sauro-vet from the Flower-Feather Clan. Mualani, Kachina and Kinich mention him in their voicelines.
From A Lineage Of Sauro-Veterinarians
Ifa's family are descendants of Nampole, a Saurian vet who likely was the source of the saying "medicine born of guilt" that Ifa's father said to Ifa on why their family were all veterinarians.
