Ifa is an Anemo Catalyst user with synergy in Swirl and Electro-Charged. Since he has access to the Nightsoul mechanic, Ifa has additional synergy with Natlan characters. His role in teams are similar to Mizuki's role as the on-field reaction driver.

On-field reaction driver Ifa can reliably trigger Ororon's Hypersense attack since he also deals Nightsoul-aligned damage along with the Electro-Charged procs. VV can also increase the Swirl damage Ifa deals so he doesn't use Scroll set. Scroll set can be used on Ororon however you might overbuff the Elemental damage dealt.

Ifa can be an alternative for Xianyun if you have Xianyun's weapon. During Varesa's release, her weapon was on rate up along with Xianyun's weapon. If you got Xianyun's weapon instead of Varesa, Ifa can use that weapon to buff Varesa's damage.
