In battle, Faruzan is a 4-Star Anemo Off-field Support for Anemo DPSes She can shred Anemo RES with her Burst or Charged Attack (through her passive), and increases her teammates' Anemo DMG Bonus after using her Burst. After using her Skill, her Charged Attacks become Hurricane Arrows that trigger a suction effect after hitting an enemy or area, while also generating Energy.

Faruzan is a core piece of most Anemo DPS teams due to her buffs, but because most Anemo DPSes are hardly meta nowadays, Faruzan's placement in the meta is also fairly low. She is niche, but fills her designated role in a team very well.

2nd	End of the Line	Get from Fishing - ER secondary stat again can help Faruzan get her Elemental Burst charged up every rotation. - The passive isn't useful for Faruzan, so this weapon is simply a stat-stick until you manage to get something better.
3rd	Fading Twilight	Reward From Past Event (Perilous Trail) - Secondary stat is ER, so it's good enough for Faruzan if you happen to have it. - It's passive is more DMG oriented, which Faruzan will typically not have much of. - Like the End of the Line, this weapon should be treated as a temporary choice until you can secure a better weapon for Faruzan. - No longer obtainable if you didn't participate in the event.

Energy Recharge Any piece with ER	★★★★・ - If your Faruzan isn't C6, it may be best to forego having a complete 4-piece set and opt into assembling any pieces with high Energy Recharge rolls in order to meet her stat goals. - You can choose to pair 2-piece Emblem with any other Artifacts to get her desired ER breakpoint, or you can also just forget about having any set bonus entirely if it helps you get enough ER.
Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City	★★★・・ - Another set that is better with C6 or if you're able to have a Natlan character in the party. - Despite not having a Nightsoul Burst, Faruzan can still activate the first half of the passive easily, which gives 12% Elemental DMG bonus.
Noblesse Oblige	★★★・・ - If the team doesn't already have a Noblesse holder, Faruzan can use it instead. - Works even without C6 needed, but the 4-piece bonus isn't going to help Faruzan at all unless you're able to roll lots of ER sub-stats on her pieces.

Faruzan's Anemo RES shred and Anemo DMG Bonus buffs are well appreciated by Venti when he's played as the On-Field DPS following his Hexerei buffs. Faruzan is the dedicated Off-Field Anemo Support of most typical On-Field Anemo DPSes She lowers the enemy's Anemo resistance while also increasing the Anemo DMG Bonus of all party members using her Elemental Burst, greatly enhancing her party members' damage potential.

Apply Buffs Using Burst

Most of Faruzan's innate buffs, which are Anemo RES shred and additional Anemo DMG bonus, are applied once she activates her Elemental Burst. She needs 80 Energy to deploy her Burst, which is considered pretty high for an Off-Field Support. Because of this, Faruzan naturally wants a lot of Energy Recharge (ER) so she can continuously use her Burst without downtime.

Gain Energy Through Skill and Charged Attack

Faruzan can gain Energy by using her Skill and by hitting a Charged Attack while in her Manifest Gale state. Since her Charged Attack, which is an important part of her comb, can often miss, her gameplay can feel a little clunky and time-consuming.
