Sword Class Traits

All Claymore Class Characters

Claymore Class Traits

Despite being slower than other weapons, this deals massive amounts of damage. Time your attacks to control crowds of enemies. Claymores can also easily destroy ore chunks in one fell swoop!

All Catalyst Class Characters

Catalyst Class Traits

Catalysts are ranged users that use magic to deal their damage. Despite not dealing as much as other classes, these characters will be able to easily apply any elemental effects they possess on enemies, allowing for several options for elemental reactions.

All Polearm (Spear) Class Characters

Polearm Class Traits

Polearm users are able to deal a significant amount of damage in a short amount of time due to the quick attacks of the polearm. However, due to the nature of the weapon, they are only able to focus their damage at a single enemy.

All Bow Class Characters

Bow Class Traits

Bows are the other ranged weapons found in the game. What separates it from Catalyst users is that you will be able to hold down the attack button in order to aim your shots! This makes it more precise when you're trying to focus on enemy weak points!

What Are Classes?

Dictated By Weapons Used

Dictated By Weapons Used

Your character's class is dictated by the weapon that they mainly use. These classes will also dictate how you use your characters during fights! Due to the different weapon types, there will be characters that specialize at close range or long range combat!

Think About Team Composition Using Classes

Team Composition

Aside from elements, you should think about having a good balance of characters when setting up your party! Make sure to have at least two close range and two long range classes with you in order to deal with a variety of combat situations!
