Characters That Require Being On Field To Get Full Potential
On-Field Characters have Skills or Bursts that require them to be on the field. Often, these attacks are canceled once you switch out to another character on the team. On-fielders are often categorized as Reaction Driver and Main DPS.
Reaction Drivers are on-Field Characters that has Plenty of Elemental Infliction
Some On-field characters are excellent at enabling reaction from off-field DPS. These characters remain on-field and inflicts elements on enemies for characters off-field to deal plenty of reaction damage. An example of this is Ifa.
Main DPS are Characters with High Personal Damage While On-Field
Main DPS, as compared to reaction drivers, focuses on increasing their personal damage. When using Main DPS, it is recommended to use supports that increases their damage instead of sub-DPS.
Technically, Any Character Can Be An On-Fielder
Every character can be an on-fielder to varying success. This will highly be dependent on their builds and team comps, such as their artifacts focusing more on their on-field abilities rather than their off-field.
