- Powerful Bloom reaction and amazing passive that increases Elemental Mastery of the team. - Great Hydro Application on-field or off-field. - Bloom Teams are amazing at group battles, with Nilou you can clear group battles in a second. - Leveling up talents is optional since its main source of damage are Blooms.
Weakness Of Nilou
- Very limited teams and weapon to use to maximize all of her kit. - Performs decently at best outside her own niche. - Very difficult for beginners to maximized since her team requires unique builds for characters. ↳ For end-game players, maximizing Nilou is fairly cheap because of not needing Talents for DMG.

This build focuses on increasing the damage of Nilou's special bloom and maximizing the buff she provides through her passive. This is a fairly easy build that provides maximum damage for Nilou provided that you fulfill the team requirements.

CRIT DMG & CRIT Rate Is Not A Priority

Since Bloom is a transformative reaction, it does not deal Critical Attacks so you will only need CRIT DMG and CRIT Rate to increase the personal damage of Nilou's Elemental Burst and Skills.

This build focuses on increasing the damage of Nilou's Normal Attack enabling her to deal damage outside her Bloom. This may be a unusual build for Nilou but if you want to use Nilou outside Bloom, this build is recommended.

Requires A Balance Between HP and CRIT Stats

When using Nilou as a Hydro DPS, you need to balance HP and CRIT Stats since most of her damage scales from those stats. Primordial Jade Cutter is an amazing weapon for it since it does not only increase HP it also provides significant CRIT Stats for Nilou.

HP Or Elemental Mastery Increasing Weapon Are Recommended

Bloom Damage of Nilou scales from HP and Elemental Mastery. It is recommended to choose weapons that will boost those stats for bigger Bloom Damage.

3rd	Festering Desire	Energy Recharge 45.9% (Lvl. 90) - Great increase of Skill DMG at R5. - Free Weapon if you have it. - Energy Recharge increases the up-time of Elemental Burst.
F2P	Harbinger Of Dawn	CRIT DMG 46.9% (Lvl. 90) - Greatly increases CRIT Stats. - 3 Star so it is easy to obtain and fully refine. - HP condition can be difficult to hold without a healer.

CRIT Weapons That Increases Normal Attack Damage & HP Works Great

To increase the personal damage of Nilou and her Normal Attacks, you need a balance of CRIT Rate, Damage and HP. Weapons that boost the said stats are recommended for this build.

Prioritize Increasing HP

To maximize Nilou's passive, you need 75,000 HP. Once you reached 75,000HP, it is better to invest on EM instead of it. If you have the Key Of Khaj-Nisut, it is possible to reach 75,000HP without using 2 sets of 2-piece HP Artifacts. If that is the case, you can opt to use 2pc. HP Set and 2pc. EM Set.

Flower Of Paradise Lost Is Good But Not Good For HP Building

Flower Of Paradise Lost can also work on Nilou but it is not ideal since you will have difficulty increasing HP. If you have amazing HP% rolls that allows you to reach close to 70,000 HP in this artifact, you can also use this artifact.

Prioritize Increasing HP While Having Balanced CRIT Stats

Most of the Damage of Nilou scales from HP. To boost it, you need to have a high total HP and a decent CRIT Stats. Aiming for 40,000 HP with Artifacts, weapon and Hydro Resonance can make it possible though it requires a fairly high investment.

- Nilou will be the enabler in this team, focusing on spreading Hydro on the field to trigger multiple instances of Bloom. - Kokomi will heal the team using its Elemental Skill preventing damage from Dendro Cores. - Collei and Nahida provides the off-field Dendro allowing the continuous production of Blooms.

Notes About Team Comps For Nilou

To maximize the passive of Nilou, you will need to fulfill the following requirements: First, all members must be Hydro or Dendro. Second, one slot for a healer is preferred.

All Members Of The Party Must Be Either Hydro Or Dendro

Nilou's passive restrict which element can you use for her teams. She can still be use outside these teams but she will perform better with Hydro and Dendro only teams because of the buff that she provides for the team. 2 Hydro and 2 Dendro Characters are recommended for resonance but the passive will still trigger even if there is an unequal amount of elements (e.g. 3 Hydro and 1 Dendro).

Healers Are Preferred

The Bloom explosions that Nilou triggers also hits the teammates so it is normal for your character's HP to decrease while using Bloom. This may cause losing all HP of the characters because of the amount of Blooms Nilou can trigger. To mitigate this, it is recommended to have one healer in the team. Using Kaveh, who heals from explosions from blooms can also be a good way to mitigate this damage.

Nilou Skill Guide & How To Use Nilou

2	Use Elemental Skill of Nilou 3 times to summon water ring.
3	Switch to your main DPS or continue using Nilou to deal further damage.
4	Repeat from number 1.
*	Use Elemental Burst to trigger more damage when it is available.

Uses Of Elemental Skill

Nilou's Elemental Skill changes its effects depending on your action the button that you push after the skill.

Sword Dance: Gives You Hydro Infusion

Command	Skill →Skill → Normal Attack

If you ended your combo with a Normal Attack, Nilou's Normal attack will be infused with Hydro and will give a ranged slash at the end. If you plan to use Nilou on-field, it is recommended to use this combo.

Whirling Steps: Releases A Hydro Aura

Command	Skill → Skill → Skill

After using Skill in the final combo of the Elemental Skill, Nilou will perform a dance that will release a hydro circle around her. It will inflict continues hydro around Nilou and it will stay even after switching. This form is great for more blooms to be produced. Use this combo if you want to use Nilou off-field.

Uses Of Elemental Burst

Deal HP Scaling Damage

Elemental Burst deals powerful hits of Hydro Damage around Nilou. This scales from Nilou's HP and has the ability to crit. Enemies hit by the Elemental Burst will also receive a second explosion for a bigger damage.

Procs Reactions Every Hit

This Elemental Burst is also able to proc Bloom each of its hit making it an amazing move to produce reactions.
