New Mode - Lunar Challenges

Lunar Mode is a new mode in Imaginarium Theater that will be added in the 6.0 Update (Luna Update). This will include difficult challenges called the Arcana Challenge.
6.0 Update (Luna I) GuideArcana Challenges Will Rewards Lunar
Arcana Challenges will give unique rewards called Lunar Arcana. They work similar to Tarot Cards or Trading Cards. Collect them all either by unlocking them through challenges or by trading with friends.
Will Also Give More Primogem Rewards
Besides earning Lunar Arcanas, players will also receive additional rewards for complete Arcana Challenges. Up to 200 Primogems and other materials can be gained for completing them.

Brilliant Blessing Can Be Upgraded
Brilliant Blessing has branching upgrades that players can freely choose from. Set your choices based on your active party or for your preparation process.
Increase Blessing Level For Additional Buffs
Additionally, players can gain additional attribute buffs by increasing their Blessing Level. This can be done by increasing the level yourself or increasing the Blessing Level with each additional character.

Ｌ Best to try and position yourself appropriatelySo the three Maguu Kenki are lumped together closely. This is to ensure they take damage together rather than separately. - Take advantage of the Brilliant Blessings to increase your damage against them. - Use characters or team comps with AoE abilities or that take advantage of AoE reactions like Bloom or Burgeon so you can reliably hit multiple Kenkis at the same time for a faster overall clear. - You can try bringing a shielder so their attacks wont interrupt you. | [ Act 6 ]:Tenebrous Papilla | Strategy: - Puts up a shield or ward that absorbs damage upon first spawn. The shield first needs to be removed using high-frequency elemental attacks. - Deplete the shield by using a character with fast, multi-hitting abilities, a team that can activate a multi-hit reaction like Burning, Burgeon or Bloom, or trigger Vape in quick succession with the help of the Brilliant Blessings. Ｌ A Natlan DPS or Support with fast hitting Nightsoul-aligned attacks removes the shield faster than other characters. - When the shield of the Papilla is broken, it takes increased damage and stops attacking. Use this window of chance to deal the bulk of your damage. Recommended Characters: |
| [ Act 8 ]:Battle-Hardened Biting-Cold Wayob Manifestation | - This Wayob Manifestation is similar to a local legend you can fight in Natlan - Upon combat start, there will first be a Hostile Spirit that you must fight. After a while, it will summon a Protection Spirit with low HP. - The Proection Spirit recovers HP each time any member of the party receives healing. When fully healed, the Protection Spirit fires a beam against the Hostile Spirit, dealing significant damage to it. - Characters that provide large amounts and/or party-wide healing will charge the Protection Spirit faster and deal damage to the boss. The more HP is restored, the damage also increases. - Be careful of a large AoE attack that the Hostile Spirit may unleash after receiving damage from the Protection Spirit, since this can deal a lot of damage to your active character. - Make use of the Brilliant Blessings to help increase the damage you deal to it. | [ Act 10 ]:Lava Dragon Statue | Strategy: - Pyro is the recommended Element for this boss since it transitions between its two forms after taking a certain amount of Pyro damage. Use characters or teams that can apply copious amounts of Pyro or can activate Burning. - The Lava Dragon Statue starts in its "Geohuman" Form. Continue using Pyro attacks to fill a circular indicator to max, which will cause it to enter its "Molten Dragon Form". - Keep damaging it with strong or rapid Pyro attacks to re-fill the circular indicator to activate its Overburn state, where it is rendered vunerable and takes a significant amount of damage after. - While in the Overburn state, the Statue will not attack and move, so use this time to unload your entire damage combo to effectively finish the boss before the time-limit. - It will eventually return to its "Geohuman" form after some time. Preparation Phase
6 Characters Will Be Pre-Selected As Opening Characters
At the start of the Preparation Phase, specific characters will be assigned as opening characters. You cannot choose any character outside the assigned one but if you do not have the character, a Trial version of the character can also be selected.
Select Trial Version If Your Character Is Not Properly Built
If you are not confident about your build for the character, select the Trial character version of that character as the power of the Trial character is enough to clear stages.
For Alternate Cast, You Can Only Use Specific Elements Or Special Guest Stars
After choosing Opening Characters, you will select 12 Alternate Cast. You can only choose the characters that belongs to the element specified for that month. The Special Guest Stars are exception to this rule and they can be chosen as an Alternate Cast.
You Can Add 1 Supporting Cast From Friend's Character
You can also borrow one 'Supporting Cast' from your Friends which will serve as Alternate Cast. The Support Cast will have the same Constellation and Build from your Friends's profile so it is also a decent way to try higher constellation characters (If your friends have one).

Because you cannot manually select which Alternate Cast will appear to use, you need to balance between healers and damage dealers. Since you can choose 12 Alternate Cast, 4 per roles: DPS, Sub-DPS, and Sustain is ideal.
New Visionary Mode Provides A Challenge
Visionary Mode is a new difficulty added which is even more challenging than Hard Mode. To unlock this, simply complete the Hard Mode of the Normal Difficulty series in any season of the Imaginarium Theater.

Challenge Phase
Types Of Event Cards

| Companion | - Allows you to add the Alternate Cast to the selection (Depending on Kind). ↳ Alternate Cast can only be selected by losing all vigors of an Opening Cast's vigor. |

Do A Combat Event To Progress
To progress the act in the Challenge Phase, you need to complete one Battle challenge. Doing other non-combat events will not progress the act so using all of your points to invite characters or gain buff is recommended.
Mystery Cache Sometimes Have Negative Effects
While not always, Mystery Cache sometimes have effects that makes the challenge more difficult. Make sure to read the effects thoroughly before choosing Event Cards.
Characters Used In Battle Events Lose Vigor
Each character will have 2 Vigor at the start of each performance in Imaginarium Theater. They will lose a Vigor every time they complete a battle challenge.
If they lose all 2 Vigors, the character cannot be selected and will not appear in the character selection screen. While random, the vigor is sometimes restored by getting specific Event Cards.
Boss Battle Happens Every Act 3, 6, and 8
Every 3rd, 6th and 8th act, you will be facing a boss battle. The line-up of bosses that you will face in these acts changes depending on the season. For tips and quick look on the boss line-up click ▲ here.
Take Note On The Performance Goals Before Starting The Battle
There are specific battle conditions to complete for rewards or additional event points. If you are just playing for the reward, clearing the first challenge per act is enough to get all rewards. At the earlier acts, doing the Bonus Challenge is important for more boons.
Star Challenges Is Mostly For Character Profile
For Star Challenges, if you are only aiming for reward, you do not need to force yourself to get all of them since they are just for Profile Showcase.

Imaginarium Theater Releases At July 1, 2024
The Imaginarium Theater will start on July 1. 2024 and will have its first season run last until August 2024. The first release will have it on 10:00 UTC+8 for Asia Servers.
Imaginarium Theater Schedule
The Imaginarium Theater will run per season with the first one happening across July. The second season is revealed to start in August.
How To Unlock Imaginarium Theater?
Reach Adventure Rank 35 Then Head To Favonius Library

To unlock Imaginarium Theater, you need to reach Adventurer Rank 35. Upon reaching the required rank, a World Quest, "Unbegun, Unending Story" will unlock. Do the quest and it will lead you to Favonius Library to the Mysterious Room. This will unlock Imaginarium Theater.
