Could Include Upcoming Character Ascension Materials
It's highly likely that the items that you can farm from the Perpetual Mechanical Array are ascension materials for a character that has yet to be released. It's been a pattern that new bosses are added to include ascension materials for new characters.

The Perpetual Mechanical Array does not have elemental infusion. When fighting it, there's no elemental advantages or disadvantages so you can fight it with any team you'd like.
Focus Attack On Ruin Sentinel With Health Bar
When the Perpetual Mechanical Array summons Ruin Sentinels, don't bother fighting all of them. Locate the one with the healthbar as that's the only one you will be able to damage and defeat.

After beating the Sentinels, the Perpetual Mechanical Array will become vulnerable. This is the best time to unleash your Elemental Skills, Bursts, or combos to deal huge damage!
Move Out Of Red Ring To Dodge Attacks
Some of the moves of the Perpetual Mechanical Array will have a red ring indicator where it will land. Simply move out of the red ring to escape those attacks.
Move Sideways To Dodge Disc Attack
The Disc attack has a pretty wide range, but you can dodge it by moving to the side quickly. It will only swing once so you don't have to worry about it coming after you again.
