The first in the game, the Perpetual Mechanical Array is basically a non-elemental Hypostasis. It has the same features as a boss and it takes on multiple forms during its battle.

The Perpetual Mechanical Array can be found inside the underground ruins in the middle of the ocean north of Narukami Island. To get there for the first time, you will need to gain access to the underground ruins.

Goign to The Perpetual Mechanical Array is not quite straightforward. Although it has it's icon on the map, getting to it will require you to use the Portal found in Jinren Island.

Players will not get access to Inazuma until they progress through Archon Chapter 2 Act 1. You can't just waltz in Inazuma without doing the quests first.

The Disc attack has a pretty wide range, but you can dodge it by moving to the side quickly. It will only swing once so you don't have to worry about it coming after you again.

How do I get out once I killed it? I'm stuck with no exit, only teleportation works. That can't be the right way right?
