Hinted to the be Narrator of the Nod-Krai Preview Teaser
Nicole is the member of the Hexenzirkel who is always tied to a red tea set, and this is made more evident by her voice-only appearance in the Fontaine Archon Quest being tied to a red teacup.
Towards the end of the Nod-Krai Preview Teaser that was shown during the 5.7 Livestream, another red teacup and teapot make an appearance. This implies that she is the narrator of the video, and may play an important role in the story that will take place at Nod-Krai.
Voice Appearances in the Archon Quests
Nicole has made two voice-only appearances in the Archon Quests as of Version 5.7. The first is during in the Interlude Chapter: Act 3 Inversion of Genesis, where the Traveler thinks it was her who had spoken to them and Paimon at the end of the chapter as a mysterious disembodied voice.
She makes contact with the Traveler and Paimon again in the Archon Quest Chapter 4, Act 5: Masquerade of the Guilty. Here she converses to the Traveler and Paimon about Fontaine's Prophecy at Fleuve Cendre through a mysterious red teacup.

A Member Of The Hexenzirkel
Nicole is among the members of the Hexenzirkel, a coven of witches and mages in Teyvat. She's known as a prophet who offers help to anyone who needs guidance.
Implied To Be Mute
Based on Wolfy's voiceline, Nicole seems to be incapable of speaking physically. However, she has been heard talking directly into someone's mind as what she did with the Traveler.
Confirmed To Not Originally Be Human
According to Skirk's voiceline about her, Nicole is not human. She says that Nicole saw her species self-destruction and that she became human after.
Could Be The Same Specie As Seelies
There are hints suggesting that Nicole could be an Angel, the same being as those of Seelies before they were stripped of form and memory. Nicole is known as a guide among the witches and will help any in need. She is also shown to have wings in the recent Nod-Krai trailer.
