Team Rating
Description
▼Anemo DPS Team★★★★★
- Nicole's teamwide ATK% buff is best utilized by comps that, apart from having an ATK-scaling On-Field DPS, can include or want to have Durin as part of the team, since he takes advantage of all of Nicole's buffs as an Off-Field Sub-DPS.
- Nicole should get a lot of mileage alongside all the Anemo DPSes, particularly Varka and Wanderer, since they're ATK% scalers that have no issue adding Durin to their lineup.
- Additionally, having access to a shield thanks to Nicole is also a significant upgrade in terms of comfort for a lot of Anemo DPSes.
▼ Melt Team With Cryo DPS★★★★☆
- The Nicole and Durin are a viable core for Melt teams alongside a Cryo DPS, either in a true or forward Melt scenario with the Cryo DPS triggering the Melt, or in a reverse Melt setup where Durin is the one dealing Melt damage.
- Lohen is likely going to be the most synergistic choice for this team since he's designed to enable Durin's Dragon of Dark Decay form.
- Lohen's best team does want Nicole and would see a drop in performance without her, since no one else can buff both Lohen and Durin simultaneously at the same level.
▼Burning Team★★★★☆
- Since Nicole's buff is likely best utilized by teams with multiple sources of damage, rather than one main DPS, the Kinich and Emilie pairing in a Burning team should see a noticeable performance boost after adding the Nicole-Durin pairing.
- Both Emilie and Kinich's personal damage will take full advantage of Nicole's buffs, and Kinich's playstyle does have a demand for a shield since he can easily be flung around while grappled to an enemy with his Elemental Skill.
▼Overload Team★★★☆☆
- Nicole can easily flex into different Overload team setups that do include Durin as the Pyro applicator, which is typically alongside an Electro On-Field DPS like Clorinde.
- Pure Overload teams can deal serviceable DPS thanks to Chevreuse, making her the key component to this type of reaction team.
▼No Durin Overload Team (Fischl)★★★☆☆
- While Durin is her intended best pairing, Nicole can still be played in teams that don't need him, with the best examples featuring Pyro On-Field DPSes in an Overload or Vaporize Team.
- A Pyro On-Field DPS typically wants to be the sole source of Pyro DMG on an Overload team, so the best Hexerei character to pair alongside Nicole in this team will naturally be Fischl.
▼No Durin Vaporize Team (Mona)★★★☆☆
- Similar to the Overload team, this is an example of a possible team that Nicole can be flexed into for fairly decent results even if Durin is unavailable.
- Mona will be key to enabling Nicole's Hexerei passive and letting you gain the full bonus from the 4-piece Celestial Gift set.
▼Vaporize Team★★☆☆☆
- Because Durin doesn't shred Hydro RES in his Dragon of White Flame form, he often isn't the best choice for true or forward Vaporize teams where a Hydro DPS will be triggering the reaction. Similarly, Vaporize teams with a Pyro On-Field DPS also don't want Durin since he can steal their Vaporize hits.
- This team variation instead focuses on deploying Durin in his Dragon of Dark Decay form, paired with a Hydro DPS, to trigger the reaction and make use of his increased Vaporize DMG% self-buff.
▼Geo DPS Team★★☆☆☆
- You can also pair Nicole (with or without Durin) alongside a select few Geo DPSes that scale off of ATK, like Navia.

Nicole provides a substantial ATK% buff that applies to the entire party, making her synergize well with teams that have more than one source of damage.

Her best use cases are in comps with Hexerei On-Field DPSes who can make use of her Projection attacks with her Elemental Burst, or teams that can include Durin, since he's an ATK-scaling Sub-DPS Hexerei character who, when paired with Nicole, should be able to contribute a noticeable amount of personal damage to the total DPS.

Does Nicole Need Durin?
Nicole's buffing value as a support is at its best when a team includes one other Hexerei teammate, and Durin is naturally the one who benefits the most.
This does not mean Nicole needs Durin to be useful, but she realizes her full potential in comps that want or can fit both her and Durin into them, especially if the On-Field DPS is a Hexerei character.
Nicole can still be beneficial for other Hexerei teammates, for teams with more than one damage dealer, or for an On-Field DPS who can appreciate her shield and/or ATK buff.
Is Nicole Good In Non-Hexerei Teams?
Yes, Nicole still has some decent team setups that do not have Hexerei characters in them. She only prefers these teams since the Arcane Projections from her Burst receive an ATK boost if the active character is Hexerei, thanks to her Hexerei: Secret Rite passive.
Non-Hexerei teams still gain a teamwide ATK buff and shield from Nicole. While the 3-second delay can be a dealbreaker for certain On-Field DPSes, there are a lot of ATK-scaling damage dealers who will still see a decent boost in performance thanks to Nicole, especially if they really need the interruption resistance from her shield for seamless combos.
She can be paired with most ATK-scaling DPSes, specifically as a Bennett alternative since they both share the same niche or role.
Nicole Genshin ImpactNote! In a team with no other Hexerei characters, the Celestial Gift set will only give a teamwide Pyro DMG% bonus if Nicole has it equipped. If this is not ideal for the team you're running her in, you can swap it out for Noblesse Oblige instead.
Is Nicole Worth Pulling Without a Hexerei DPS or Durin?
Assuming Free-to-Play standards, Nicole's value as a support without Durin or a Hexerei DPS will depend on the available teams you have. External factors like the state of your account and personal in-game goals should also be taken into account.
- You have multiple Anemo or Pyro ATK-scaling DPSes. There is a high chance that one of these DPSes wants Bennett for their premium teams, so if you own multiple, having Nicole enables you to run two strong teams without needing to worry about sharing Bennett.
- You have one or more DPSes that can make use of a teamwide ATK buff and/or want a shield.
- You plan to eventually get at least Durin alongside her or in the future, or have plans to vertically invest into Nicole's Constellations and Signature Weapon to make her a stronger buffer, even in non-Hex teams.
- You have either Durin OR other Hexerei DPSes. Having at least one of them to pair with Nicole in a team can provide decent enough results to clear certain endgame forms, barring Stygian Onslaught at Difficulty 5 and 6.
- You have more than two SS or S tier teams to tackle hard endgame content already and would really like to get Nicole for enjoyment purposes.
- You aren't concerned with the meta or clearing Stygian Onslaught at Difficulty 5 and 6 consistently.
- You find using Bennett frustrating or limiting and would like to replace him entirely. Nicole's shield will be more comfortable to use in general.
- You want to clear Stygian Onslaught Difficulty 5 (at the very least) consistently and as soon as possible. For purely meta purposes, it may be better to invest in Lunar Reaction teams or Mavuika, who is still able to bruteforce specific endgame forms.
- You want to save for upcoming meta-changing characters, especially since Snezhaya is about to release.
- You're more interested in other teased characters or reruns.
- You're mostly Free-to-Play and can't see yourself vertically investing into Nicole's best teammates, Constellations, or Signature Weapon.
- You don't need another ATK buffer either because Bennett or Iansan already covers that role for your teams, or because your account has mostly non-ATK scaling DPSes.

Nicole Genshin ImpactNote!Since Varka is a Hexerei character, the Projection Attacks from her Burst receive the buff from her enabled Hexerei passive, which should increase the damage they deal. This is why Nicole builds Energy Recharge on this team.

Varka should see a noticeable jump in performance when paired with the Nicole-Durin pairing and Prune, who seems to be Varka's tailor-made 4-star Support in the way Illuga is for Zibai.

Additionally, Nicole should allow for very comfortable Varka combos since he's a Normal and Charged Attack-based On-Field DPS that would appreciate the mobility and resistance to interruption that her shield would provide.

Anemo DPS Team Rotation (Varka)

No.Procedure
1Start with Durin. Use his Elemental Skill twice to enter Dragon of White Flame form. Deploy his Burst.
2Swap to Prune, use her Skill before following it up with her Burst.
3Switch to Nicole. Deploy her Skill, then Burst.
4Swap to Varka. Use his Skill. You can then spam Normal Attack (x2) into Charged Attack (x1) or use the more complex combos.
One ideal Varka combo is: Skill → [ Normal Attack → Charged Attack ] → [ Normal Attack (x4) → Skill ] x2 → [ Normal Attack → Charged Attack ] → Normal Attack
5Repeat from Step 1 after finishing Varka's combo.

VentiVenti (On-Field)
- Varka should be on the higher end in terms of performance amongst the Anemo DPSes, but he can easily be replaced by the others since all of them can slot in Nicole and Durin with ease.
- Wanderer should be up there as well in terms of DPS potential upgrade, especially since Nicole's shield would make his combos much smoother and more comfortable to play.
PrunePruneVentiVenti
IfaIfa
Lan YanLan Yan
SucroseSucrose
FaruzanFaruzan
- Prune is Varka's intended best-in-slot support, especially since she can be deployed in all of Varka's possible comps, not just the Pyro team.
- Venti should still be a decent alternative for Prune, but other Viridescent Venerer holders are also a choice, though the damage potential will be worse.
- For the other Anemo DPSes, Faruzan should take Prune's slot on the team since their damage is primarily Anemo DMG, which Faruzan substantially buffs.
DurinDurinThomaThoma
XianglingXiangling
- Durin is one of the few Off-Field Sub-DPSes that takes full advantage of everything that Nicole brings since he's both an ATK-scaler and a Hexerei character.
- He's a little more replaceable alongside an Anemo DPS, however, since he'll be in his Dragon of White Flame form for the Anemo RES Shred and therefore might not be contributing that much.
- He is still the best-in-slot option alongside Nicole, but you might get serviceable results out of any other Pyro Sub-DPS.
Nicole Genshin ImpactNote!Nicole's Burst Projections won't be buffed by her Hex passive if the active character is not Hexerei. Since the unbuffed Projections might not deal significant damage, you can skip using her Burst if you replace Varka with a non-Hexerei.

Nicole Genshin ImpactNote!Since Lohen is a Hexerei character, the Projection Attacks from her Burst receive the buff from her enabled Hexerei passive, which should increase the damage they deal. This is why Nicole builds Energy Recharge on this team.

Lohen is another great beneficiary of the Nicole-Durin pairing since he's supposed to be Durin's designated On-Field Cryo Driver for his Dragon of Dark Decay form, which increases Durin's personal Melt and Vaporize reaction DMG, instead of shredding enemy RES.

Lohen is also a Normal and Charged Attack-based DPS, which means he benefits from not having to worry about his combo getting interrupted. DPSes of this type, like Varka, have their damage potential dependent on full combo execution, and it's not surprising that both appreciate what Nicole (and Durin) bring to the table.

Melt Team With Cryo DPS Rotation (Lohen)

Note: Since Lohen is a Normal and Charged Attack-based character, he will likely have an optimal attack combo, so the rotation here is still subject to change!

No.Procedure
1Start with Nicole. Use her Elemental Burst, then Skill.
2Swap to Durin to deploy his Skill, then Normal Attack (x1) to activate his Dragon of Dark Decay form.
3Deploy Citlali's Skill followed by Burst.
4Use Durin's Burst.
5On-Field Lohen. Activate his Skill, then use his Normal Attacks followed by a Charged Attack. Use his special Skill whenever it comes up. End his combo with his Burst.
6Repeat from step 1.

- Citlali is the best fourth slot option for Lohen's Melt team with Durin, mostly due to her Pyro RES shred. The rule of thumb for this comp is to use supports that can buff both Lohen and Durin, such as Nicole.
- Your choices for a Citlali replacement can be another Cryo character with Off-Field application and/or usable buffs. Maintaining Cryo Resonance for the CRIT Rate increase can go a long way.
- Flexible RES shredders like Xilonen and Sucrose (with Viridescent Venerer) are also usable.
- You can also opt for an Off-Field Dendro applicator, like Emilie, to instead apply Burning on enemies and enable Lohen to trigger Melt off of his own Cryo attacks instead of Durin.
LohenLohenWriothesleyWriothesley
GanyuGanyu
- Since Lohen is intended to be the best option for Melt Durin, other alternatives are very likely to produce worse results damage-wise.
- Wriothesley and Ganyu are the more usable replacements since they might be able to apply enough Cryo to allow for Durin to trigger Melts, though it'd be better to have your fourth slot be another Cryo applier like Citlali to ensure that he does.
DurinDurinXianglingXiangling- Durin is the most important member on the Melt Lohen team since it's his Dragon of Dark Decay form triggering the Melt reactions, and Lohen wants Sub-DPSes who can deal damage to generate Will to Win stacks.
- You can make do with Xiangling as the replacement, but apart from the DPS being lower, her Energy Requirements are often very annoying to handle in actual combat. This can lead to too much time spent trying to gain Energy particles for Xiangling.
Nicole Genshin ImpactNote!Nicole's Burst Projections won't be buffed by her Hex passive if the active character is not Hexerei. Since the unbuffed Projections might not deal significant damage, you can skip using her Burst if you replace Lohen.

Nicole Genshin ImpactNote!Since her Projections from Burst don't get buffed by her Hexerei passive without an active Hexerei character, it might be possible to just skip using her Burst here if they don't deal enough damage at base. This is why Energy Recharge might not be needed for her in this team.

While Durin's personal damage in his Dragon of White Flame state is lower to compensate for the RES shred, this Kinich and Emilie comp is one of the few teams where both damage sources on the team scale with ATK%, which is Nicole's ideal team scenario. Notably, this'll allow Emilie to be a better teammate in Kinich's teams since her damage potential as a Sub-DPS should receive a decent boost.

Kinich's gameplay and harder combos should also be easier to execute thanks to Nicole's shield providing sustain and resistance to interruption.

Burning Team Rotation (Kinich)

No.Procedure
1Start with Durin. Use his Elemental Skill twice to enter Dragon of White Flame form. Deploy his Burst.
2Switch to Nicole. Deploy her Skill.
3Swap to Emilie. Use her Skill or Burst.
4Swap to Kinich to do his optimal damage combo. You can briefly hold, aim, then let his Skill go as a means of cancelling the animation, which can result in more Canon shots overall.
One ideal Kinich combo is: Skill → [ Normal Attack (x2) → Skill (brief hold then let go immediately)] x5 → Burst
5Repeat from step 1 after you're done with Kinich's combo.

Substitute Characters

CharacterSubDetails
KinichKinichKleeKlee
ArlecchinoArlecchino
- Klee and Arlecchino can make convincing replacements for Kinich since their mechanics allow for them to still perform well even when placed in a Burning team.
- Klee can activate Nicole's Hexerei passive, which buffs her Projections' damage, so Nicole might want to build ER if Klee is your DPS instead.
EmilieEmilieIansanIansan
NahidaNahida
- Other Dendro options do not interact with the reaction as much and instead serve as Dendro appliers for Kinich. They would also be equipped with Deepwood Memories instead.
- Alternatively, you could also consider Iansan as well. This will shift the DPS focus solely on Kinich, who can get some use out of her ATK buff and her ability to trigger the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City set.
Note that due to the Burning aura and how the Scroll set works, the effect will not have permanent uptime. You need to use Kinich's Burst at the start of the rotation for Iansan to proc it properly.
DurinDurinXianglingXiangling
MavuikaMavuika
DehyaDehya
ThomaThoma
- This Burning team should have more flexibility when it comes to replacing Durin, since at the end of the day, Kinich and Emilie only need Pyro application to sustain the Burning reaction on enemies.
- Nicole's buffs would see better use on Pyro characters like Xiangling and Mavuika, who scale with ATK and can contribute their own personal DPS, but simple Pyro appliers like Dehya and Thoma are still viable if they're the only ones available.

Replacing Durin on this team will cause Nicole to lose access to her Hexerei: Secret Rite passive and her Hexerei status along with it. This means any weapon or artifact that specifically states that it requires the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect to be active for its passive to trigger will not work.

This is why Energy Recharge might not be needed for her in this team.

Overload comps that include Durin will lack Electro application since pure Overload teams always want to have Chevreuse. This automatically leaves only one slot on the team alongside Nicole, Chevreuse, and Durin, so the logical option is to opt for an On-Field Electro DPS to trigger the reaction.

In this example, since Clorinde can heal her own Bond of Life, Nicole's shield is a viable and maybe even ideal sustain option for her, especially if you consider how easy it is for Clorinde to get interrupted by enemy attacks while performing her main combos.

One optimal combo should be: Burst → Skill (can cast it twice if you're already at 100% Bond of Life) → [ Normal Attack x3 → Skill ] x6

- Losing Durin disables Nicole's Hexerei status, so it's recommended to swap Nicole out of Celestial Gift if you don't have Durin on the team.
- Since Durin functions as the primary Pyro applicator on the team, other similar Off-Field Pyro damage dealers or applicators can take his place, just expect slightly worse results since you lose Durin's personal damage, RES shred and the full DMG% buff from Celestial Gift.
Chevreuse Chevreuse-- There is no true alternative for Chevreuse in this type of comp since her RES Shred, ATK% buff and DMG% buffs from her C6 all work together to make her the premiere support for pure Overload teams.

Replacing Durin on this team will cause Nicole to lose access to her Hexerei: Secret Rite passive and her Hexerei status along with it. This means any weapon or artifact that specifically states that it requires the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect to be active for its passive to trigger will not work.

Her optimal combo should be: [ Normal Attack → Skill ] → Burst → [ Normal Attack x3 ] x2 → Skill → [ Normal Attack x3 ] x2 → Normal Attack (x2) → Charged Attack → Normal Attack (x3)
5Repeat from step 1.

- A Pyro DPS that doesn't have strict kit requirements can work in an Overload team with Chevreuse.
- Pyro DPSes can activate Fischl's 'Undone Be Thy Sinful Hex' passive that provides extra DPS, which is why they are preferred in an Overload setup when you don't have Durin, since you can use Fischl to compensate.
- Because of the way the Celestial Gift set works, if the team has a Pyro DPS, it's best to have other Hexerei characters equip it instead of Nicole so you gain the full DMG% buff.

- Losing Fischl means you disable Nicole's Hexerei status. If you don't have Fischl or need her in a different team, you can instead pivot the comp towards Vaporize with Mona instead, provided you finished Mona's Witch's Homework quest to activate her Hexerei: Secret Rite passive.
- You can still replace Fischl with other Electro Sub-DPSes, since Nicole's Hexerei passive only applies to On-Field Hexerei characters. However, you will lose out on any artifact or weapon that needs the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect active.
Chevreuse ChevreusePrunePrune
XingqiuXingqiu
YelanYelan
- Chevreuse is considered an important part of an Overload team due to her Electro and Pyro RES shred and her C6 providing similar DMG% bonus.
- Replacing her while not having Durin would significantly hurt the damage potential of this team, so you're better off going for a Vaporize team instead with Mona as your Hexerei character.
- You can also replace her with Prune instead, which lowers the damage potential but Klee can still activate Prune's Hexerei passive.
Nicole Genshin ImpactNote!Nicole's Burst Projections won't be buffed by her Hex passive if the active character is not Hexerei. Since the unbuffed Projections might not deal significant damage, you can skip using her Burst if you replace Klee.

Without Klee and Durin, Nicole loses access to her Hexerei: Secret Rite passive and is no longer considered a Hexerei character. Any weapon or artifact that specifically states that it requires the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect to be active for its passive to trigger will not work.

Nicole Genshin ImpactNote!Since her Projections from Burst don't get buffed by her Hexerei passive without an active Hexerei character, it might be possible to skip using her Burst in this team. This is why Energy Recharge might not be needed for her in this team.

After finishing Mona's Witch's Homework quest, she becomes an effective Vaporize support thanks to her Hexerei: Secret Rite passive, increasing the damage dealt by Vaporize hits so long as her Normal or Charged Attacks hit an enemy.

Overall, Nicole and Mona make for a decent Vaporize team core that you can pair with an ATK-scaling Pyro DPS like Arlecchino, who also appreciates Nicole's shield as a Normal Attack-based DPS, but especially due to her Bond of Life mechanics that prevent her from receiving healing while in combat.

No Durin Vaporize Team Rotation (Arlecchino)

No.Procedure
1Start with Arlecchino. Deploy her Skill to apply the Blood-Debt on enemies.
2Swap to Nicole. Use her Skill. Burst is optional.
3Switch to Yelan. Use her Skill, tap or hold, then Burst.
4Deploy Mona's Skill, followed by Burst. Briefly perform Normal Attack (x3) to apply the buffs from her Hexerei passive.
5On-Field Arlecchino. Use her Charged Attack to absorb the Blood-Debt Dues. Use Normal Attacks to trigger Vaporize. Burst is extremely optional thanks to Nicole's shield; only use it if Arlecchino is very low on HP.
Her optimal combo should be: [ Normal Attack (x3) → Dash ] x7
6Repeat from step 1.

Hu TaoHu Tao
- Yoimiya also greatly enjoys the interruption resistance from Nicole's shield and ATK% buff due to her playstyle being dependent on a fully executed Normal Attack combo for the best damage results.
- While Hu Tao can't make use of Nicole's ATK% buff, her HP mechanics make her naturally appreciate a shield over healing to ensure she doesn't end up dying mid-combat. Hu Tao's DPS will also still benefit from the fully activated DMG% buff from the Celestial Gift set (which needs two Hexerei characters in the team).
Yelan YelanXingqiuXingqiu
FurinaFurina
- Yelan is the best Off-Field Hydro source to deploy in a Vaporize team with Nicole and Mona, but Xingqiu should still be a serviceable alternative even if you lose the DMG% buff from Yelan's Burst.
- Furina can be considered, but because of her HP drain, it might be better to consider swapping one teammate out for a healer to gain more Fanfare stacks and to keep your On-Field DPS from dying too fast.
MonaMonaSucroseSucrose
XilonenXilonen
- Mona enables Nicole's Hexerei status and therefor makes the Celestial Gift set provide a stronger DMG% buff for the On-Field DPS.
- Mona's Vaporize DMG% buffs are also very sought after in a reaction-based team like this, but you can make do with Sucrose, who gives EM (that boosts Vaporize damage) and can equip the Viridescent set to also supply some RES shred.
- If you're using Furina, a teamwide healer that can apply important buffs like Xilonen (RES Shred) can also be a choice, though the DMG% buff from Celestial Gift will be weaker as a result.

Replacing Mona on this team with a non-Hexerei character will cause Nicole to lose access to her Hexerei: Secret Rite passive and her Hexerei status along with it. This means any weapon or artifact that specifically states that it requires the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect to be active for its passive to trigger will not work.

Nicole Genshin ImpactNote!Since her Projections from Burst don't get buffed by her Hexerei passive without an active Hexerei character, it might be possible to skip using her Burst in this team. This is why Energy Recharge might not be needed for her in this team.

This setup has Childe act as the On-Field Driver for Durin in his Dragon of Dark Decay form, which increases Durin's Vaporize and Melt damage. Childe applies enough Hydro for Durin to trigger Vaporize with ease.

The biggest issue here is Childe's long Skill cooldown making rotations feel too long or off, and this does cause the damage potential to be worse than the ▲ Lohen Melt team variant.

Vaporize Team Rotation (Childe)

No.Procedure
1Start with Nicole. Use her Skill. Burst is optional.
2Swap to Durin to deploy his Skill, then Normal Attack (x1) to activate his Dragon of Dark Decay form.
3Use Xilonen's Skill then Normal Attack (x2). Only use her Burst if you need healing.
4Use Durin's Burst.
5On-Field Childe. Use Normal Attacks to apply Hydro; you can weave in Charged Attacks at the same time. Note that staying too long in his Melee state will cause his Skill cooldown to be too long.
One optimal combo should be: Skill → [ Normal Attack (x2) → Charged Attack ] x6
6Repeat from step 1.

ChildeChildeKamisato AyatoAyato- There aren't a lot of Hydro characters that can perform the same function as Childe in terms of being an On-Field Hydro Driver for a Pyro Sub-DPS.
- The closest alternative you can have is Ayato, but his application may be lacking and should typically consist of him using his Burst every rotation to ensure you have enough Hydro.
XilonenXilonenCitlaliCitlali
SucroseSucrose
- Xilonen's RES shred and the DMG% buff from the Cinder City set do make up an effective buff combo, but you can also get similar results with Citlali who can equip the same set while also providing Hydro and Pyro RES shred. Her Cryo application should also allow for Durin to sneak in a few Melt triggers here and there.
- Sucrose should also be a fine alternative thanks to her EM sharing and the ability to shred enemy RES with the Viridescent set.
DurinDurinXianglingXiangling- Durin is the main source of damage for this team and there are few real alternatives with the same DPS potential.
- You can opt into using Xiangling as a replacement, but her Energy Recharge needs are often frustrating to account for if you don't have someone like Bennett to create Energy particles for her.

Replacing Durin on this team with a non-Hexerei character will cause Nicole to lose access to her Hexerei: Secret Rite passive and her Hexerei status along with it.

Navia is one of the few Geo On-Field DPSes that scale with ATK%, and she should be able to see decent results in a team alongside Nicole as the buffer and sustain, and Durin who can provide her with Geo RES shred and Crystallized Shards for her Crystal Shrapnel stacks.

Albedo (ideally with C1) also further boosts the team's DPS potential by contributing his own personal damage, just don't forget to activate his Hexerei: Secret Rite passive by completing his Witch's Homework quest.

Geo DPS Team Rotation (Navia)

No.Procedure
1Start with Navia's Burst to apply Geo.
2Swap to Durin. Use his Skill twice to activate his Dragon of White Flame form for RES shred, then follow this up with his Burst.
3Deploy Albedo's Skill.
4Switch to Nicole to activate her Skill.
5On-Field Navia. Use her Skill, then Normal Attack ever so often while waiting for her Crystal Shrapnel stacks to fill. Use her Skill after three of her stacks (the bullet icons) lit up twice.

6Repeat from step 1.

NingguangNingguang
- Noelle converts her DEF% into ATK%, so Nicole's buff does see some use with her as the On-Field DPS.
- Similarly, Ningguang will also benefit from the Nicole-Durin pairing, especially since a shield will make executing her Normal and Charged Attacks more comfortable mid-combat.
AlbedoAlbedo (C1)XilonenXilonen
ChioriChiori
FischlFischl
- Albedo can be substituted either with a buffer like Xilonen, who can shred Geo RES, a Geo Off-Field Sub-DPS like Chiori, or another ATK-scaling sub-DPS like Fischl.
- While Chiori scales off of DEF, Navia's teams feel much better to play if you have another source of Geo application to generate Crystallized Shards consistently. But you can still make do without another Geo teammate if you have enough ER on Navia to Burst every rotation.
DurinDurinXianglingXiangling
MavuikaMavuika
Pyro TravelerPyro Traveler
FischlFischl
YelanYelan
- Durin's slot in this comp is a lot more flexible here compared to other Nicole teams since he shouldn't be a very large portion of the team DPS while in his Dragon of White Flame form. Albedo helps to ensure Nicole has her Hexerei status active, so you don't need to worry about losing the full 4-piece Celestial Gift set DMG% buff most of the time.
- You can consider a Pyro Off-Field character to enable Pyro Resonance or any other Off-Field Hydro, Electro, or Cryo Sub-DPS that can apply their element without much issue.
