Citlali	Rosaria Escoffier Ganyu	- Citlali offers the most consistent Cryo application, but Rosaria or Escoffier can be decent alternatives. - Rosaria is better for multi-target content, while Escoffier can sustain with her Burst's healing.
Bennett	Iansan Dehya	- Bennett is both an ATK% buffer and a sustain character that also activates Pyro Resonance, which gives more ATK%. - You can replace him with either Iansan or Dehya, albeit to weaker results. - Iansan's ATK% buff is just as potent as Bennett's, but her healing is tied to Nightsoul Burst, which Diluc can't use. - Dehya's damage mitigation and transfer is a viable sustain option on top of her also enabling Pyro Resonance. However, she has no other useful ATK% buff in her kit apart from what she can provide through her artifact set.
Xianyun	Xilonen Sucrose Kazuha	- Xianyun enables Diluc to spam Plunging Attacks, so replacing her turns this team into a regular Melt team instead. It should still be a playable comp, but the damage output will be lower due to losing the ability to quickly spam Plunging Attacks in a short amount of time, which is what increases the DPS. - Xilonen will be your best alternative due to her Elemental RES Shred. Note that if your Citlali already has the Cinder City set equipped, it's best to give her or Xilonen a different set like Instructor since the Cinder City 4-piece effect cannot be stacked. - Other Anemo supports each bring their own benefits while providing RES Shred through the Viridescent Venerer set.

This team has Diluc utilize Gest of the Mighty Wolf, which gives a CRIT DMG buff when the party has Hexerei: Secret Rite effects active. Durin and Fischl (after finishing their Witch's Homework task) enable each other's Hexerei passives and thus allows Diluc to make full use of the weapon.

Rotation Of Overload Diluc Team

Fischl	Ororon Yae Miko Kuki Shinobu	- Fischl is the most optimal Off-Field Electro applicator, especially if she has her Hexerei passive active. - Otherwise, any other Off-Field Electro Sub-DPS who can apply the element consistently is going to be an okay alternative. - You lose the bonus of the Hexerei: Secret Rite effect without Fischl, so Diluc won't be able to access the CRIT DMG buff from Gest of the Mighty Wolf.
Durin	Mavuika Iansan	- Durin enables Fischl's Hexerei passive and vice versa. Without either, you won't be able to gain the CRIT DMG buff from Gest of the Mighty Wolf. - Durin's best alternatives are Pyro or Electro characters that can contribute team buffs, deal personal damage, or provide extra sustain if Chevreuse's healing isn't enough for you. - Natlan characters like Mavuika and Iansan can also supply a DMG% buff by equipping the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City set.
Chevreuse	Durin	- Chevreuse's Elemental RES shred and teamwide ATK% buff are what allows most Overload teams (that include her) to be competitive. - Durin is the closest possible alternative since he also provides RES shred, but he loses out in terms of buffing power to Chevreuse due to her teamwide ATK buff and especially if you have her C6 (which gives Pyro and Electro DMG% bonus to all party members).

Overload teams that include Chevreuse will need to ensure that all its members are either Pyro or Electro, since Chevreuse's RES Shred is disabled if the team includes characters with other elements.

Diluc's best Vaporize team iteration does include Xianyun and makes use of the Plunging playstyle to trigger Vaporize rapidly. This team performs slightly worse than the Melt version because the Vaporize reaction triggered by Pyro attacks has a lower damage multiplier (1.5x) compared to Melt (2.0x).

Similar to his Melt Plunge team, this team comp does have some viable alternatives, but each provides their own set of pros and cons. Replacing Xianyun is what's going to reduce the DPS potential the most, since the Plunging playstyle does increase Diluc's damage output by a good margin.

Mono-element teams are typically composed of 2 to 3 characters of the same element, who are then complemented by a RES Shred support to decrease the resistance of enemies to that element, which is important since the team has no other damage amplification buffs from reactions.

Rotation Of Mono Pyro Diluc Team

The only part of this rotation that needs to be strictly followed is to use Xiangling's Burst while Bennett's Burst is on the floor. This is due to Xiangling's Burst snapshotting Bennett's Buff, meaning even if Bennett's Burst expires, her Burst will retain the ATK buff from it.

Durin	Xiangling Emilie	- Since Diluc's numbers and scalings are very low, a strong Pyro Sub-DPS is needed to make up for the loss of damage amplification from reactions. - You can also make use of a Burning Sub-DPS like Emilie.
Sucrose	Venti Kazuha Xianyun	- Sucrose enables Durin's Hexerei passive while also adding more RES Shred through the Viridescent Venerer, but she can be replaced by other Anemo supports that can trigger the Viridescent 4-piece effect. - Venti can maintain Durin's Hexerei passive and provides better grouping. However, Venti's Hexerei DMG% buff only applies to characters that trigger the Swirl reaction themselves, which doesn't apply to Diluc. - Kazuha disables Durin's Hexerei passive but does provide a DMG% buff. - Xianyun allows you to use Diluc's Plunging playstyle, but it's less effective in this team since he isn't triggering any amplifying reaction like Melt or Vaporize.
Bennett	-	- A true Mono-Pyro team will usually include Bennett by virtue of his generous ATK% buff and his sustain from Burst. There's no real alternative to him in a Mono-Pyro comp, as any substitute would result in a significant loss of both sustain and DPS.

Mono-Pyro teams will always feel weaker against comps that have access to reactions. However, this team should still achieve average results at best in easier endgame content (like Imaginarium Theatre), making it a viable Diluc team regardless.
