The Strongest Are Laevatain, Yvonne, and Gilberta

The strongest characters in Endfield are Laevatain, Yvonne, and Gilberta. Laevatain is a Heat-focused attacker capable of reliably inflicting Stagger, Gilberta is a Nature attacker that pulls enemies together using gravity-based effects, and Yvonne is a high-damage attacker with the ability to apply forced Solidification.

The Best Free Characters: Chen Qianyu and Wulfgard

Among the free characters available early in the game, Chen Qianyu and Wulfgard are the strongest. Chen Qianyu is a fast-hitting Physical DPS with a short Combo Skill cooldown and low Ultimate cost, capable of locking down enemies with frequent Lifts. Wulfgard simplifies Combo Skill activation through his Heat Infliction and Combustion abilities.

Ardelia and Pogranichnik for Team Stability

Ardelia can heal herself, and at P2, she also heals the ally with the lowest HP percentage. As a ranged character, it is best to position her strategically to maintain a better overview of the battlefield. Pogranichnik has a skill that recovers SP spent on Ultimates and other abilities, and he shows his full potential when paired with other strong characters.

We have evaluated the free characters Chen Qianyu and Wulfgard as S-rank. Among the S-rank characters, the 6★ Last Rite and Ember are very strong, but due to their low gacha drop rates, we recommend prioritizing S-rank 5★ characters first.

Arclight	- A sub-DPS that excels at SP Recovery - Recovers SP by repeatedly using the Combo Skill, which has a short cooldown ┗ Excels in a team that centers its strategy around Electrification
Snowshine	- A Support that can counter and heal allies - Deploys a recovery field when the active character's HP is reduced by an enemy attack ┗ Excels in high-difficulty content where it's easy to take damage

Since the Endministrator’s training cost is low, they are especially recommended for early progression. Da Pan is a high-damage Physical attacker, but because he relies on stacking Vulnerable, his synergy with the Endministrator is only moderate.

Ranking Criteria for Best Characters

Based on Combat Performance and Synergy

In Arknights: Endfield, you fundamentally fight with a team of 4, so our combat evaluations are primarily based on team composition balance among the currently available characters.

DPS-type Prioritized by High Attack Power

For DPS characters, we prioritize high attack power and overall damage output. We also rate higher those characters whose damage output is less dependent on team composition.

Ease of Combo Skill Activation Is Also Considered

For sub-DPS, we evaluate ease of Combo Skill activation and the ability to recover SP through Battle Skills. We rate higher characters who are unlikely to limit the main DPS’s actions.

Support-Type Factors in Status Infliction and Healing Capability

For support characters, we rate higher those who can provide attack buffs or SP recovery. Key differentiators include ease of meeting combo conditions, short cooldowns, and low Ultimate cost.

Potential Upgrades Included in Evaluation

Character Potential can be increased up to P5. Since some characters gain additional effects and skill changes as their Potential increases, characters who become significantly stronger through Potential upgrades are also included in our evaluation.
