An Attacker Enhanced by Their Ultimate

Laevatain is an attacker who mows down enemies with her Basic Attacks after using her Ultimate.Managing her unique "Melting Flame" stack is the core of her mechanic, so be sure to deploy her with characters who can inflict Heat Infliction, Combustion, and Corrosion.

Laevatain Strategy Guide

Core Combat Strategy

  • Stack Melting Flame using Final Strikes and Combo Skills.
  • Trigger her Battle Skill the moment Melting Flame hits 4 stacks.
  • Unleash her Ultimate to gain massive attack range and damage.

Stack Melting Flame via Final Strikes and Combo Skills

Arknights Endfield Laevatain Guide Stacking Melting Flame

Laevatain's exclusive resource, Melting Flame, is generated whenever you land a Final Strike on an enemy suffering from Heat Infliction, or whenever you trigger a Combo Skill. Your first priority in any fight? Build up 4 stacks of Melting Flame as quickly as possible.

Pair Her with Heat Infliction Specialists

The higher an enemy's Heat Infliction, the faster Laevatain absorbs it to build her stacks. You'll want to run her alongside teammates who can reliably dish out Heat status such as Wulfgard or Akekuri, to turbocharge her Melting Flame generation.

Unleash Her Battle Skill at 4 Stacks

Once you hit that 4-stack threshold, unleash her Battle Skill. Doing so triggers a devastating bonus attack, generates Ultimate Energy, shreds the target's Heat Resistance, and immediately inflicts Combustion. Because Combustion fulfills the trigger condition for her Combo Skill, this move is an absolute game-changer packed with value.

Capitalize on Her Ultimate's Massive Range and Damage

Popping Laevatain's Ultimate throws her into an Enhanced state. For the next 15 seconds, her Basic Attacks get a hefty boost to both their reach and overall damage output. While this buff is active, aggressively spam your Basic Attacks and Final Strikes to melt through the enemy's health bar. The moment you cap out at 4 Melting Flame stacks again, drop another Battle Skill to keep the pressure on.

This squad is entirely built around maximizing Laevatain's damage potential. The core strategy is to aggressively charge Laevatain's Ultimate gauge while keeping enemies debuffed with Combustion and Corrosion. Once she's fully charged, unleash her Ultimate to wipe out the field in one devastating burst.

2 Wulfgard Combo Skill
3 Active Character's Final Strike
4 Ardelia Combo Skill
5 Ardelia Battle Skill
7 Laevatain Combo Skill
8 Akekuri Battle Skill
9 Active Character's Final Strike

Use this specific rotation to rapidly stack Laevatain's exclusive resource, Melting Flame. If you hit 4 stacks of Melting Flame at any point during this combo, immediately interrupt the sequence and fire off her Battle Skill.

Laevatain Recommended Potential Phases

P1 is Recommended

At P1, the damage of the additional attack from Laevatain's Battle Skill at Stage 4 Melting Flame increases, and she can recover SP on hit. Since the original multiplier is very high and its activation chances also increase, you'll likely feel the benefits more than the numbers suggest.

Max Potential Makes Her Unmatched in Multi-Target Battles

Her Max Potential effect extends the duration by 1 second for each enemy defeated during her Ultimate. It can be activated up to 7 times for a total duration of 22 seconds, making it a very powerful effect in multi-target battles. Be aware that it does not function against single-target bosses.
