DPS Enhanced by Ultimate
Laevatain is a DPS who decimates enemies with enhanced attacks after her Ultimate. Managing her unique "Melting Flame" stacks is crucial, so be sure to pair her with teammates who can apply Heat Infliction.
Laevatain Strategy Guide
Start by Building 4 Stacks of Melting Flame

Laevatain gains her unique Melting Flame stacks by absorbing Heat Infliction from targets. To reach 4 stacks quickly, inflict Heat to an enemy and then hit them with a Final Strike.
Bring Allies Who Can Apply Heat
The higher the enemy's Heat Infliction level, the faster you will gain Melting Flame upon absorption. Including teammates like Wulfgard or Akekuri who are skilled at applying Heat will allow you to build those stacks faster.
Use Her Battle Skill at 4 Stacks
You should activate Laevatain's Battle Skill as soon as you reach 4 stacks of Melting Flame. This skill is incredibly versatile as it deals an additional attack, restores Ultimate Energy, lowers enemy Heat Resistance, and applies Combustion to set up your Combo Skill.
Unleash Wide-Area Damage After Ultimate
After using her Ultimate, Laevatain enters an Enhanced state where a massive sword attacks alongside her. This phantom blade deals high damage across a wide area, so keep using Battle Skills and Combo Skills to rebuild Ultimate Energy quickly.
