Use the Protocol Singularity Aboard the OMV Dijiang
You can swap your protagonist's gender at any time by visiting the Protocol Singularity room located on the OMV Dijiang. While there is a 24-hour cooldown period after each change, the process is entirely free and does not require any special items.
Unlock the Protocol Singularity at Authority Level 15
Access to the Protocol Singularity is granted once you reach Authority Level 15 and have progressed further into the main story. If you are looking to swap your protagonist's appearance as quickly as possible, you should prioritize tasks that increase your Authority Level.
Step-by-Step Gender Change Procedure
| 1. |   Head to the Protocol Singularity room located within OMV Dijiang's Control Nexus Level 1. |
| 2. |  Interact with the Protocol Singularity terminal. |
| 3. |  Select "Confirm" to finalize the change to your protagonist's gender. |
Which Gender Should You Choose?
No Impact on Gameplay or Skills
Selecting a gender for the protagonist has no impact on your story progression, character skills, or combat performance. Since there are no mechanical advantages to choosing one over the other, you are free to pick whichever appearance you prefer for your adventure on Taros-II.

Unique Voice Acting
Since the Endministrator is fully voiced during story cutscenes, choosing based on your preference for a specific voice actor is a great option. Each version brings a different personality to the dialogue, so you may want to listen to both before making your final decision.
