Rock Solid (Agony Mode) Best Teams

Laevatain Team

AttackerHeat InflictorRecover SPHP Support
LaevatainLaevatainWulfgardWulfgardAntalAntalArdeliaArdelia

This is a Heat team centered around Laevatain. As the fight starts, focus on charging Laevatain's and Antal's Ultimate Energy. Once the enemy's weak spot appears, you can quickly clear the stage by using their Ultimates to deplete the enemy's HP.

Rock Solid Strategy and Tips

Attack When Weakpoint is Exposed

Arknights: Endfield - Rock Solid Stagger Gauge

When the stone on it's back starts glowing red, it means the boss' weakpoint is exposed. Additionally, a stagger gauge will appear over the enemy, so attack the enemy from behind as soon as possible.

TipsTips! If a shield icon appears next to the damage numbers, it means the boss is taking reduced damage. This is most often the case when attacking the boss from the front, so try to attack the boss' back as much as possible.

Prepare Ultimates for Damage Window

Destroying the enemy's weak spot will put it in a Staggered state, allowing you to deal Massive DMG during the short window. Once the battle begins, focus on charging the Ultimate Energy of your main damage-dealing characters to unleash damage once the weak spot appears.

TipsNote!Failing to destroy the weakspot when it appears will cause the enemy to receive a large ATK boost. Use a team that can deal burst damage to the weakspot even when the enemy isn't staggered.

Minimize Dodging

Main Attacks
PounceAoE AttackHind Leg Kick

In the Agony Mode of Rock Solid, Stamina recovery speed is greatly reduced as a stage effect. Repeatedly dodging increases the risk of running out of Stamina when you need it most, so focus on conserving Stamina by minimizing your dodges.

Pounce Attack

This is an interruptible attack that deals around half of your HP in damage. Upon landing, the Walking Chrysopolis also releases a shockwave that emits outwards. Dodge towards the landing point of the attack to avoid the landing as well as the shockwave.

AoE Attack

The hitbox of this attack is designated by the red areas that appear along the ground. Steer clear of the highlighted area as this attack often 1-hit-KOs your characters. Ideally, you want to avoid this attack without spending stamina.

TipsTips! The Walking Chrysopolis can use this attack multiple times in quick succession. Prepare to move to safety immediately after dodging the first attack.

Hind Leg Kick

This attack is often used when you're positioned behind the Walking Chrysopolis. The effect radius isn't that wide, but the reaction window is short, so be alert when attacking the boss from behind.

Consider Bringing Healers

Recommended Characters with HP Recovery
ArdeliaArdeliaEmberEmberSnowshineSnowshine

Not only does the enemy have enhanced stats, but its ATK will greatly increase if you fail to destroy its weak spot. A single attack can be fatal, so if you are worried about taking damage or if the fight will be long, you should consider bringing a healer.

TipsNote!Because the Boss favours wide-range attacks, you should be careful that your other character's don't also get knocked out.
