Meet with Yan Ning at the Core AIC Area

Teleport back to the Core AIC Area north of Wuling City and approach the group to trigger a cutscene. Yan Ning is here along with Bai Shuang and the others. She'll explain that the plan is to get Wuling's Xiranite production running asap.

Use the Facility List to Construct a Forge of the Sky

A tutorial takes over from this point to construct a Forge of the Sky. Open the Wuling AIC Plan and look up the Xiranite Forging node to access the Forge of the Sky simulation.

After that, open the Facility List to construct a Forge of the Sky.

Running the Sim is Optional

Running the simulation for Xiranite production is optional, but it might be worth taking a look at since it walks you through the full pipeline setup and rewards you with a pre-made blueprint.

Place the Forge of the Sky in the Core AIC Area

Place the Forge of the Sky anywhere within the Core AIC Area. It doesn't need to be in a specific spot at this point.

View the Forge of the Sky Control Panel

Interact with the Forge to open its control panel. In order to create Xiranite, you'll need Stabilized Carbon and Clean Water. For now, move the Stabilized Carbon into the Forge of the Sky.

Connect the Fluid Pump to the Forge of the Sky with Pipes to Acquire Clean Water

Next, you'll need a supply of Clean Water. Place a Fluid Pump at the water's edge nearby, then run a pipeline from the pump's outlet to the Forge's input.

Use the Forge of the Sky to Make Xiranite

With Stabilized Carbon loaded and Clean Water piping in, let the Forge run. Once it produces 10 Xiranite, interact with it and collect them into your backpack.

Talk to Yan Ning and Others

Bring the Xiranite to Yan Ning nearby. She contemplates whether it could be used to reset the Xiranite flow control node and clear the Blight that's been blocking access further out.

Go to the Xiranite Flow Control Node

Cross the bridge north and hop across the lily pads to reach the stairs leading up to the Blight-covered area. The flow control node is at the top.

Repair the Xiranite Flow Control Node

Interact with the node and slot in the 10 Xiranite you just produced to repair it. This recharges the facility with Liquid Xiranite, which is the new fluid your Jet Drone can spray to destroy active Blight mudflows.

Activate the Xiranite Flow Control Node

Interact with the repaired node again to activate it. Your spray jet is now loaded with Liquid Xiranite.

Eliminate the Blight

Using the jet drone, aim at the Blight mass. Keep spraying until the core is exposed, then focus everything on the core itself to finish it off.

Meet Up with Mi Fu

After the Blight clears, an emergency call comes through. Head east of the Core AIC to link up with Mi Fu, where you'll see that she's already found Tangtang, who was apparently making her own way toward the monitoring center. Of course she was.

Pass Through the Tianshi Pillar Array

Head straight east through the Tianshi Pillar Array. There are Aggelois near the far end, but the array's own defenses will handle them if you don't want to fight. Keep moving.

Defeat the Aggeloi

If the array's lasers haven't finished the job, clear out the remaining Aggeloi before continuing toward the ferry point.

Head to the Wuling North Ferry Point

Follow the path northeast toward the Wuling North ferry point. More Aggeloi will show up as you arrive, and they're blocking the dock. Once they're cleared, you'll notice the dock itself is covered in Blight mudflow. Time to spray!

Eliminate the Blight at the Ferry Point

Activate the Xiranite flow control node to power the spray jet, then blast the Blight core blocking the dock.

Get on the Raft and Travel to the Monitoring Center

With the dock cleared, board the raft and interact with one of the two displays to set off. On the far side, climb the stairs toward the monitoring center's entrance.

Unlock the TP Point First

There's a depot immediately to your left as you reach the top of the stairs. Activate it before heading inside because it'll be the fastest way back to this area for the rest of the mission.

Use the Xiranite Flow Control Node to Clear the Blight

The entrance path is blocked. Find the Xiranite flow control node near the building and use the spray jet to clear a way through. Move toward the structure until the core reveals itself, then take it out.

Go to the Top of the Monitoring Center

Enter the building and head up the ramp to the right. The interior path is also clogged with Blight in places. Luckily, another control node is waiting inside, so you can deal with the blight.

Defeat the Aggeloi

Once you've cleared the Blight, continue up toward the next floor. Take out the Aggeloi in the clearing. Once they're down, Mi Fu and your team will be separated by more Blight, she advances and you'll need to carve a path to catch up.

Open Up a Path

Find the control node towards your left and use it to clear the remaining Blight. The core is up a flight of stairs, tucked beneath a tall Blight stack. Once the Blight is gone, interact with the rolling gate's control panel to open the door.

Defeat the Tidalklast

Fast and aggressive, the Tidalklast likes wide sweeping attacks and charges. Stay mobile, dodge the swings, and don't try to trade while it's mid-combo. Once you halve its HP, it will add stream attacks and AoE so put distance between you when you see them coming.

Dodge the Ice Beam

The Tidalklast's most dangerous weapon is a beam that auto-tracks and can freeze you outright. You cannot switch operators once frozen, so avoid this attack at all costs.

Restart the Monitoring Center

After you've dealt with the Tidalkast, head west up the stairs and through the broken wall to find the core facilities. Interact with the Originium Circuitry to bring up the repair puzzle using the solution provided in the image above.

Accept the Monitoring Job

With the center back online, interact with the Outskirts Monitoring Terminal to test the system. This unlocks Wuling's Environment Monitoring jobs, which pay out in Wuling Stock Bills. Accept the Beacon Damaged in the Blight Tide commission to move forward.

Environment Monitoring Unlocked

This terminal is the entry point for other Monitoring jobs in Wuling. Worth returning to once in a while to earn Wuling Stock Bills.

Complete the Job Photo: Damaged Beacon

Head east, back toward where you fought the Tidalklast. At the ledge overlooking the water, interact with the glowing point to enter Camera Mode. Make sure the damaged beacon is in frame and take the shot. The commission completes automatically once you exit the menu.

Go to the Main Pillar Office

Say goodbye to Mi Fu, then use the depot to teleport to the Main Pillar Office. Head to the east side of the office to trigger a final conversation with Zhuang Fangyi.

Leave the Main Pillar Office

Once the mission wraps, Tangtang calls as you leave. Listen to the conversation to close out The Surging Tide and onto the next mission!
