Keep Advancing

Cross the wooden bridges heading out of the previous area. The first waterwheel is just ahead.

Unlock the Teleport Point

There's a Teleport Point to the left when you reach Tangtang's clearing later in the previous mission. Activate it so you can rest or deposit items in the depot.

Reactivate the First Waterwheel

Two rotating mechanisms control the water flow for the first waterwheel. Each hit rotates the corresponding structure one step.

Hit the right mechanism twice, then the left mechanism once. That's all it takes to align the flow and get the waterwheel turning.

Reactivate the Second Waterwheel

Once you're able to walk onto the drawbridge. The next two fixtures are to your right. This time the sequence is reversed: hit the right mechanism once and the left mechanism twice. Another drawbridge lowers, and you can cross.

Clean Out the Aggeloi in the Way

Follow the marker to the third waterwheel, you'll encounter a group of Aggeloi blocking the way. Clear them out first, then deal with the waterwheel mechanisms.

Reactivate the Third Waterwheel

Hit the nearby fixture twice, then head north a short distance to the second fixture and hit it twice as well. The waterwheel activates and the gate opens.

Get a New Gear Template!

If you cross the bridge to the west and defeat some monsters, you'll find a Wuling AIC Index and a new Gear Template up for grabs!

Talk to Tangtang

Follow the marker towards the opened gate. Talk to Tangtang when you arrive. She'll give you the Third Seat of the fam and a token before you pass through the gate.

Use Scan to Get Aurylene

Before you reach the newly opened gate, you'll notice an invisible floating orb to your right. That's a Wuling Aurylene. To get this invisible Aurylene, use your scan ability to reveal it and jump to grab it.

Go to Wuling City

Past the gate, jump over the lily pads to cross, open the crate sitting on the right side, and grab the Aurylene up ahead.

Defeat the Aggelos in the Way

An Aggelos is waiting in the clearing ahead, and it's not going to move out of politeness. This is your first encounter to a Wuling region miniboss and this monster leans heavily on sweeping and AoE attacks. Dodge its attacks or switch to a ranged character for an easier battle.

Sweeping Attack

You can dodge this attack as soon as the miniboss glows for a moment.

Beam Attack

Try to avoid this as much as possible because you're not only going to take damage once you're hit, you'll also be launched upwards, which will make you vulnerable to other attacks.

Shockwave

When the aggelos sends out a shockwave, jump or dodge to avoid the attack.

Reach the End of the Secret Tunnel

With the Aggelos down, a secret path opens. Head north up the stairs and follow the tunnel to the end. You'll eventually reach a wall and a dead end. This is where Tangtang is going to blow the wall open, and the group steps into a hidden facility, where you'll first meet Mi Fu, and she's clearly not thrilled about Tangtang's intentions.

Talk to Perlica

Talk to Perlica to catch up on the situation as the team wonders why Wuling appears to be untouched by the landbreakers.

Talk to Mi Fu

After the conversation with Perlica, find Mi Fu in the next room. The team will offer to help repair the facility's defenses.

Follow Mi Fu

Mi Fu leads you to a storage room and introduces the Jet Drone. It's a new tool that sprays fluid at mechanisms to activate them. Before you can use it, you'll need to store fluids in bottles.

Get Filled Ferrium Bottles from Watchguards

Step out of the storage room and speak to the watchguard on your right to receive Filled Ferrium Bottles.

Shoot the Mechanism with the Jet Drone

To operate the Jet Drone: Open the Easy Tools menu (by long pressing R), select the Spray icon, and select a bottle. While in Jet Drone mode, use LMB (or the attack button on controller) to spray.

Shoot the red mechanism to raise a ramp. Follow Mi Fu once again and open the next door.

The final room has two mechanisms that need to be sprayed to open the rolling gate. The first mechanism is right beside the door. The second is up the stairs to the left of the gate. Spray both, and the gate will finally open to Wuling City.

Leave the Field Logistics Depot

When you regain control, head west out of the depot and approach the railing to the northwest for your first proper look at Wuling City. Mission complete.
