Westward Into the Vale Walkthrough

Head to the Bridge Approach

To start Westward Into the Vale, make your way to the Bridge Approach. It’s quite a hike from the starting point, so fast travel to the Core AIC Area first to save some time.

Eliminate the Landbreaker Squad

You’ll run into a squad of Landbreakers once you hit the Bridge Approach. Wipe them out to clear the area for the bridge inspection.

The Landbreaker Chief Packs a Punch

The Landbreaker Chief has a lot more health than the rank-and-file units. Basic attacks won't cut it, so make sure you use your Skills and Ultimates to burn him down quickly.

Examine the Control Device and Return to Core AIC

Interact with the bridge switch to assess the damage, then head back to the Core AIC Area to set up a power relay.

Power the Electric Nexus at the Base of the Bridge

Place your Relay Towers and transmit power from the PAC to the Electric Nexus at the base of the bridge. Position the towers carefully to avoid exceeding the maximum transmission distance.

Complete the Operation Manual Basic Training

Once the bridge is active, you'll unlock the Operation Manual. Follow the tutorial prompts to finish the Basic Training section and wrap up the mission.
