Mysterious Signal Walkthrough Chart
- Head to Originium Science Park and Talk to Yvonne
- Go to the First Protocom Signal Tower
- Go to the Second Protocom Signal Tower
- Return to Originium Science Park and Talk to Yvonne
- Reach 1F of the Research Center
- Use the Test Component to Locate the Blight Core
- Go to the Originium Power Plant
- Go Deeper and Explore
Head to Originium Science Park and Talk to Yvonne
Head to Yvonne's lab in the Originium Science Park. Entering the lab triggers a cutscene. She fills you in on the remaining Active Blight problem in Valley IV and asks for your help gathering signal data from two Protocom Signal Towers.
Go to the First Protocom Signal Tower
Teleport to the depot directly west of the Research Center building. The first Protocom Signal Tower is right next to it. Approach and interact to download the tower's data.
Go to the Second Protocom Signal Tower
Teleport to the Mining Area Clinic in the Origin Lodespring region. This tower is not located near the Science Park, so verify that the correct waypoint is selected. From the clinic, proceed northwest to reach the tower.
Return to Originium Science Park and Talk to Yvonne
Head back to Yvonne's lab. Approaching her triggers a cutscene where she amplifies your Protosync and adds the Blight scanning feature.
Reach 1F of the Research Center
Leave Yvonne's lab and take the elevator back down to the first floor. Stepping off triggers a cutscene that sets up your first scan.
Use the Test Component to Locate the Blight Core
Press R to scan the Blight mass. This is your first real use of the upgraded Protosync. From this point on, the scanner will now be able to reveal hidden Blight Cores.
Go to the Originium Power Plant
Teleport to the TP just east of the Originium Power Plant, then head into the building. Entering the power plant triggers a cutscene, and it sounds like there's already a fight happening somewhere on the second floor.
Go Deeper and Explore
Follow the same interior path you used back in Counterstrike Brewing, minus the conveyor belt section, which you can bypass entirely this time. Run along and past the belt until you find a mass of Blight blocking the route.
Scan it and destroy the exposed Blight Core, and watch the cutscene. It's revealed that Lycia has been behind the destruction here. Perlica's response to that revelation is deliberately vague, and the mission ends.
