Ferrium Ore - How to Get
Automated Mining in Originium Science Park
If you want to efficiently gather Ferrium Ore, we recommend automated mining in Originium Science Park. You will need an Electric Mining Rig Mk II for automation.
Research Mining III in Basic AIC Plan
First, unlock the Research requirement for the Electric Mining Rigs Mk II, which is located at the far left of your AIC Factory Plan. Once the Basic AIC III is upgraded, you will be able to research the Mining III, which will be a huge boost for your production.
Construct an Electric Mining Rig Mk II
Once you have unlocked Mining III at the Basic AIC Plan, you will be able to unlock the Electric Mining Rig Mk II. You will need 1x Portable Originium Rig and 10x Ferrium Parts to construct it.
Head to the Cliff in Originium Science Park
The base area in the southeast of Originium Science Park is separated by a cliff from the area to its west. Teleport to the opposite side first, then head toward the location with the Ferrium Ores.
Set up a Relay Tower and Zipline Pylon on the Cliff's Edge
Once you reach the Ferrium Ores area, set up a Relay Tower and a Zipline Pylon on the edge of the cliff. Check the image above for reference.
Grab a Cable from the Relay Tower
After setting up the Relay Tower and Zipline Pylon at the cliff's edge, start a transmission.
Teleport Back to the Infra-Station
With the transmission cable in hand, from the Ferrium Ore's location, teleport straight to the Infra-Station. If you have placed the Relay Tower correctly within range, you will still be able to hold the transmission cable after teleporting.
Set Up a Zipline Pylon
Once the power is connected, set up a Zipline to travel back and forth over the cliff so it will be more convenient to farm and check the Ferrium Ores' location.
Use Electric Pylon or Move Sub-PAC
If your Sub-PAC is outside the Relay Pylon’s range, move it closer to the cliff or place an Electric Pylon between them to link the Relay Pylon to the Electric Pylon, then to the Sub-PAC.

Main Ferrium Ore Mining Spots
- Originium Science Park
- Origin Lodespring
- Power Plateau
Ferrium Ore can be obtained by mining at Ferrium Ore spots. The most efficient location is Power Plateau, which can be unlocked in Chapter 1, Process IV of the story, but in the early game, you should gather it at Originium Science Park, the first area you can reach.
Ferrium Ore - How to Use
Turned into Ferrium in a Refining Unit
Ferrium Ore can be processed into the AIC product Ferrium using a Refining Unit. In its raw state as a natural resource, Ferrium Ore has no other uses, so processing it into Ferrium should be your top priority.
Used to Make Ferrium Components and More
The main uses for Ferrium Ore are "Ferrium Components," "Ferrium Bottles," "Ferrium Parts," and "Ferrium Powder."
