- Open 'Operator' from the Menu
- Select an Operator and Click Ability Matrix
- Select a Node to Unlock the Talent
*Some abilities also require Trust and Promotions.
Talents and Base Skills in Endfield are upgraded via the Ability Matrix screen. Note that unlocking specific nodes may require you to increase the Operator's Trust or Promotion rank first.
Open 'Operator' from the Menu
Navigate to the main menu and select "Operator."
Select an Operator and Click Ability Matrix
Choose the Operator you want to upgrade, then tap on the "Ability Matrix" tab.
Select a Node to Unlock the Talent
On the "Ability Matrix" screen, select and unlock a Talent.
Some Talents Require Trust and Promotion
Some Talents require Trust and Promotions, so be sure to level those up as well.

| T-Creds | Protoprism | Protohedron |
Unlocking Talents and Base Skills requires "T-Creds," "Protoprisms," and "Protohedrons." Generally, Protoprisms are used for early-game upgrades, while Protohedrons are necessary for late-game enhancements.

Boost Stats and Passive Skills
The primary benefit of unlocking Talents and Base Skills is boosting an Operator's base stats and enhancing their combat passives. Furthermore, unlocking certain nodes grants Base Skills that provide bonuses when the Operator is assigned to facilities. Prioritize these upgrades to maximize your team's efficiency.
