Weapon Enhancement Overview

Weapon enhancement in Endfield consists of: Leveling Up, Tuning (Level cap increase), Essence (Grindable item), and Potential (Dupes).

Leveling Up

Leveling up a weapon increases its base stats. Since hitting the level cap is a requirement for Tuning, prioritizing your weapon levels should be your top priority.

Get Enhancement Materials Using Sanity

Enhancement Materials like "Arms INSP Sets" can be farmed in stages like Protocol Space - Weapon EXP by spending Sanity (Stamina). If this zone isn't available yet, continue with the main story to unlock more areas of the map.

Tuning (Level Cap Increase)

Tuning is the feature used to raise a weapon's level cap. It is a fundamental part of weapon enhancement, so make sure to Tune your most frequently used weapons as soon as they reach their current limit.

Tuning Requires Specific Materials

Tuning requires specific materials. You can Tune weapons using materials found in Rare Mineral areas on the map, drops from Protocol Space - Weapon Tune, and T-Creds.

Essence (Grindable Item)

Essence is an item used to enhance the Activation Effect by one level. This is crucial as it extends the passive skills attached to the weapon via the Activation Effect. Additionally, Essence is generally obtained with random stats from Energy Alluvium.

Potential Enhancement (Dupes)

Potential Enhancement lets you strengthen a weapon's skills by merging duplicates. However, it is often more effective to equip a spare 6-Star weapon on another character, so weigh your options carefully before performing a Potential Enhancement.

How to Enhance Weapons

To enhance a weapon in Endfield, head to the Character screen. Select the weapon you wish to improve to access the specific enhancement settings.

Open the Character Screen

Start by opening the menu in the top-right corner and navigating to the Character screen.

Select an Enhancement Option from the Weapon Tab

Next, switch to the Weapon tab and choose the type of enhancement you want to perform, such as "Level Up," "Potential," or "Essence."

Use Materials to Enhance

Select the required materials and confirm the process to enhance your weapon.
