Use the HE Grenade Tower and Marsh Gas

HE Grenade Tower and Marsh Gas are Recommended

The "Marsh Gas" and "HE Grenade Tower" combo, manufactured in Wuling, is extremely powerful and greatly reduces stage difficulty. Advance the Wuling AIC first to unlock them. Once available, they can also be produced and deployed in Valley IV.

The boss, Axe Armorbeast, spawns from the easternmost area. If it merges with other enemies, it buffs them all, making the stage much harder. Prioritize defeating it. Placing three Beam Towers can eliminate it before it merges.

Concentrate Facilities at the Merge Point

By placing facilities where enemies merge, you can attack multiple enemies at once. Halting enemies with Marsh Gas makes area-of-effect attacks from Grenade Towers and other facilities even more effective, keeping enemies within range for longer.

Prioritize the Boss In Operator Intervention

Defense Tower Set Up

During Operator Intervention, place three Beam Towers on the east side to reliably defeat the boss without character attacks, letting you focus on enemies from the left and right. Eliminate enemies near the Marsh Gas and HE Grenade Tower.

Stop Enemies with Solidification

Non-boss enemies can be halted with Solidification, which is highly effective at this stage since you can leave the boss entirely to the Beam Towers. If your characters are well-developed, consider running a Solidification build.
