A Glance of Astonishment Walkthrough

Go to the Rafting Dock

From the field logistics depot, take the elevator down. Interact with the control panel to reach the lower level. Follow the path to the dock.

Unlock the TP Point First

There's a TP Point right by the rafting dock. Activate it before boarding the raft.

Board the Raft

Board the raft by interact with one of the two displays to set off. During the ride, Tangtang calls to warn about rising Blight activity. At the next dock, the locals are being told to evacuate to the city immediately.

Enter the Tianshi Pillar Array

Follow the evacuating residents toward the Tianshi Pillar Array, where you'll encounter Blight forming in Wuling City. Looks like even Wuling City isn't safe from the Blight.

Defeat the Aggeloi

As you move forward, a large wave of Aggeloi will try to invade the city. Clear them all out. More will spawn in as the fight progresses, but the Viceroy of Wuling, Zhuang Fangyi, will arrive partway through to help. Once the area is clear, a receptionist confirms your identities and clears you to enter Wuling City.

Enter Wuling City

Head up the stairs past the receptionist. But before pushing deeper into the city, turn left to unlock a depot at the entrance, since it's very easy to miss.

Go to the Main Pillar and Meet Up with Zhuang Fangyi

Continue climbing the staircase. The city is worth a slow look if you want; there are plenty of residents to talk to along the way, though it's entirely optional.

Get Wuling AIC Index

There's a lot of gather points in this area, so take your time to explore and look around. There are also 2 Wuling AIC Index available to grab just in front of the Eureka building

At the top of the stairs, you'll find a floating green orb in the center of a shallow water fixture. That's your destination.

Enter the Main Pillar

Interact with the green orb to open the Main Pillar. The waterfalls will split open, and a path will form up to the office. Mi Fu is waiting at the top of the stairs and she'll hand over the key to the office. There's also an optional dialogue about Tangtang and Zhuang Fangyi if you want the context.

When you're ready, approach the cubed doorway and interact with it to enter the office.

Immersion Mode Ahead

Entering the office will give you a choice to activate Immersion Mode. If you do, your roster will be temporarily locked to Endministrator, Perlica, and Chen at level 60 for the duration of this sequence. There are no combat encounters inside, so it won't affect you mechanically.

Follow Zhuang Fangyi

Inside, Zhuang Fangyi is waiting. Follow her to each point of interest. This part of the mission is linear, so just follow the marker.

Touch the Branch

First stop: a branch connected to the Xiranite inside the Tianshi Pillars. Interact with it. It will glow when touched and will reveal that the Xiranite still recognizes you from your past.

Observe the Xiranite Sandbox

Next, follow Zhuang to the Xiranite Sandbox at the center of the room and interact with it. The Sandbox renders a holographic map of Wuling City, including the Blight Tide encroaching on its borders. Zhuang tells you plainly: the city has roughly three months before things get critical. Endfield Industries offers to help.

Look at Wuling

Finally, follow Zhuang east toward the large window and interact with it for a view over the whole region. She delivers the rest of the bad news, that the Bonekrushers have reached Wuling, and you share what you know. Nefarith is working with Ardashir. After that, an alliance between Wuling and Endfield will be reached.

Talk to Mi Fu and Leave the Office

Head west out of the office and speak to Mi Fu at the top of the stairs, right where you left her. The conversation wraps up the mission.
