Vodyanitsa has been confirmed by official sources to be a rate-up character in Version 7.1. According to previous trends, it's possible that her banner will be in the second phase of the version if she is a 5-star character, which will go live on October 14, 2026 so long as there are no schedule delays.

However, there is also a possibility that Vodyanitsa's banner will go live alongside Vesna's on September 23, 2026 like how Mavuika and Citlali also had concurrent release banners.

Vodyanitsa Rarity

Unlike Vesna, Vodyanitsa does not have a Stellar Linchpin but rather a regular Hydro Vision, so her rarity cannot be reliably assumed. She has a high chance of being 5-star, however, due to her prominent presence in the Snezhnaya Archon Quest.

The name Vodyanitsa is said to come from a Slavic myth about a female water spirit. This could also hint that she might be related to either Nod-Krai or Snezhnaya, as both regions are inspired by Slavic/Russian myths.

Vodyanitsa shines as a principal soprano at the renowned Korolevskiy Theater, performing alongside prima ballerina Odette. Together, this beloved duo is celebrated across Snezhnaya as star performers.

Vodyanitsa was seen wearing a Hydro Vision on her back. You can check the image above for reference. Official sources have also confirmed her having a regular Hydro Vision instead of a Stellar Linchpin. Her ideal team archetype is therefor unknown.

Vodyanitsa Potential Kit

While Snezhnaya is primarily associated with the Cryo element, Vodyanitsa’s ocean-inspired identity makes her a seamless fit for the Hydro element. As a Hydro Vision holder, she could immobilize enemies by utilizing the Freeze reaction in combat.
