For the 6th Anniversary, a free 5-star character event called Across the Frozen Wilds Honing One's Edge will be available, allowing you to choose a 5-star character to invite to your roster.

Character	Reason
Mona	- With her Constellations, she can provide a Hydro Reaction Boost, an EM Buff, a CRIT DMG Buff, and increased damage during her Elemental Burst. - She is a good pick if you are planning on investing in Hexerei teams.
Mizuki	- She provides Anemo DMG and EM to her team, while her Dreamdrifter talent enhances Swirl reactions by dealing follow-up AoE Anemo damage that scales with the party's total EM. Her C1, C2, C4, and C6 further enhance her abilities with extra Anemo damage, resistance shred, healing, and personal CRIT stats. - She is a good pick if you need a Stellar Swirl on-fielder. At C2, she is competitive with other limited characters.
Qiqi	- After Qiqi's buff, her viability increased, especially in Stellar teams where her C6 significantly boosts her damage output. She also provides solid healing, which is valuable in any endgame content.
Dehya	- A decent comfort pick for interruption resistance and off-field Pyro application, though her damage output is lower compared to other options.
Jean	- A solid Anemo healer, especially for Furina teams. However, her role can be filled by newer supports like Xianyun or Xilonen in certain team compositions.
Tighnari Keqing	- Not recommended due to their limitations. While they are solid at C0, their constellations offer less significant upgrades. Additionally, they can be obtained from the Standard Banner over time.
Diluc	- He relies heavily on a specific team setup to keep up with the current endgame meta. To unlock his full damage potential, he needs to be paired with premium supports such as Furina and Xianyun.

Character	Reason
Varesa	- Varesa is an excellent Electro character who can provide massive damage output even at C0.
Clorinde	- Clorinde is a flexible and competitive Electro DPS at C0, though she deals less damage than a C0 Varesa. - Prioritize Clorinde if you already have her, as this event allows you to reach C2. Note: A C2 Clorinde outperforms a C0 Varesa in the same team.
Nilou	- Her team composition is restrictive, requiring only Hydro and Dendro characters. However, if you already own her at C0, this event allows you to unlock her C2. This makes Nilou a top-tier support for Bloom and Lunar-Bloom team comps, as she can shred enemy resistances.
Chiori	- She is also a good sub-DPS pull. She fits perfectly into teams with Navia or Itto, providing consistent off-field damage. She can be played comfortably as a solid Geo damage dealer without changing your core playstyle.
Baizhu	- He provides good support sustain via skill/burst while positioning himself flexibly into diverse Dendro and Furina-focused teams.
Childe	- A classic on-fielder whose kit requires tight rotation management to compete with modern DPS.

Release Date	After Version 6.0 Update

Starting from the 4th Anniversary, players have been able to get a free 5-Star Character from the Standard Banner's roster as part of the annual anniversary rewards! For the 6th anniversary, the duration of this event will be longer so that more Travelers can claim it on time.

It's also been announced that this will become a yearly event! Every year, players will be able to choose a 5-star character of their choice! Additionally, new Standard Characters will also be available in the next Anniversary Selector if they are added after the latest Anniversary Event.
