Varka uses the drops from Landcruiser enemies for his ascension, which he shares with other characters introduced with Nod-Krai's release. His local specialty is the Wolfhook found in and around Wolvendom of Mondstadt. His ascension material is dropped by the Radiant Moongecko, a new boss to be added in Version 6.4.

Wolfhook plants are primarily found around Wolvendom, following the path that leads you into the arena where you fight the World Boss Andrius. Each plant yields 1 Wolfhook.

Enemy Materials

Defeat Landcruisers at the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau

For his enemy drops, Varka uses materials from Landcruisers that can only be found around the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau. You can collect the Drive Shafts by defeating them. You can also track them using the Adventurer's Handbook, but note that not all locations will be shown.

For Varka, it's more efficient to focus on leveling up his Skill and Burst. We recommend prioritizing these two talents to save materials and resin.

The Game Before The Gate domain is located at the Falcon Coast in the Mondstadt region. Completing the challenge in this domain will cost you 30 Original Resin.

How Many Days / Resin Needed?

Expect To Use Around 2500 Resin Or More

Since material drops are random, farming for all of Varka's ascension and talent materials will cost you around 2,500 Original Resin at World Level 8. This is equivalent to roughly 14-21 days worth of Original Resin. The number of days required also depends on whether you plan to level up all of his talents.

More Resin Cost For Artifacts

Farming for Artifacts, especially good ones, will also add to the resin cost of building a character. Artifacts are heavily based on luck, so the resin cost cannot be accurately estimated.

Around 18 Weeks To Fully Upgrade Talents

Talent Ascension requires a Weekly Boss material. Assuming you only get one required material per week, it will take 18 weeks to fully upgrade a character's talents to 10/10/10. You can shorten this time by converting other Weekly Boss materials.
