Linnea, in general, can be flexibly used in any team with a Hydro applicator. However, to gain the full benefits of her talents, Linnea should be played in a team that focuses on the Lunar-Crystallize reaction, which likely requires another Geo teammate for consistent Moondrift uptime.

Enables Moonsign Ascendant

When added to a party, Linnea adds +1 to the party's Moonsign Level, which is the nation-specific mechanic of Nod-Krai. Each Nod-Krai character increases it by 1 level and at the 2nd level, various buffs for Lunar Reactions will be activated. This helps characters that unlock certain buffs or passives when Ascendant Gleam (level 2) is activated.

Zibai	Navia Arataki Itto Noelle Columbina Neuvillette	- Zibai is the dedicated Lunar-Crystallize DPS, so replacing her will notably lower the team's DPS potential, but it doesn't completely invalidate other Geo DPS characters. - Although the substitute Geo characters can't make full use of Illuga's buffs, Linnea should still be able to. - You can also consider on-fielding a Hydro character like Columbina, and while her damage as the active character in a Lunar-Crystallize isn't as good compared to Lunar Bloom, it should still be decent enough to clear select combat content.
Illuga	Gorou Xilonen Zhongli	- C6 Illuga is part of the formula that lets Zibai reach her peak potential. Without it, her damage might appear to be slightly lacking. - Gorou's DEF% increases can rival a pre-C6 Illuga's buffing contribution to the team. At C6, Gorou can even surpass a pre-C6 Illuga. - Xilonen can be a decent option if you pair her with Furina, since Zibai and Linnea still deal some Geo DMG, so they still benefit from Furina's DMG% buff. Xilonen's RES shred also compounds with Linnea's, resulting in a decent DPS boost overall. Use either Xilonen or Linnea's Burst for healing, but not both, to save time. - Zhongli is much less effective as an Illuga substitute due to his less powerful buffing power, but his shield helps Zibai, whose damage relies on her Normal Attack string, become less susceptible to interruption. - This slot can also be filled by any other support that has good synergy with your chosen Geo DPS.
Columbina	Aino Yelan Xingqiu	- While Columbina is probably going to result in the most damage, you may find that replacing her with any generic Hydro applicator to be decent enough in this slot. Expect the DPS to be lower overall.

Zibai's premium Lunar-Crystallize team is where Linnea performs best, since it's likely she was designed to be Zibai's best fourth-slot teammate. However, Linnea's Geo RES Shred and damage contribution allows her to play fairly well alongside other Geo DPSes, thereby increasing her flexibility, but only in dedicated Geo teams.

Columbina and Linnea split the field time on this team, with Linnea using her multi-tap Skill to release a single Lunar-Crystallize nuke, and Columbina contributing a decent amount of damage by using her Normal Attacks to quickly proc Lunar-Crystallize, which triggers the Moondrifts' coordinated attacks.

Illuga	Gorou Xilonen Zhongli	- Like the premium Crystallize comp, Illuga provides better buffs for Lunar-Crystallize teams, but you can substitute him with other synergistic Geo supports. Gorou is usually the better choice among them thanks to his DEF% buffs.
Columbina	Neuvillette Childe Mona	- Columbina in a Quickswap DPS team alongside Linnea cannot be truly replaced due to her Lunar Reaction buffs and the ability to split her field time. - Other Hydro options should be usable in theory, but may yield underwhelming results if you try to use Linnea's multi-tap skill. - You'll generally want to look for a Hydro character that can apply a lot of their element and have no problem swapping out occasionally.
Gorou	Chiori Albedo Furina Aino	- The fourth slot is flexible and can accommodate many different options, but they should generally provide Linnea and Columbina with buffs or increase the team's DPS by contributing their own damage. - Albedo is better when you have another Hexerei character on the team. - Aino can be flexed here, if you don't have any other Moonsign character, as a means of enabling Ascendant Gleam.

Using Linnea's multi-tap Skill does demand some amount of field time to be split between her and the other DPS every rotation. A Hydro on-fielder is ideal for consistent Lunar-Crystallize triggers, while a Geo on-field DPS works better as the sole on-fielder in many cases.
