Go to the lone tall tower on Mount Esus East, and go upstairs to automatically start the In Search of Lost Time: West quest.
How To Unlock In Search Of Lost Time: North?

In Search Of Lost Time: North will automatically start once you enter the tower in the north area of New Fontaine Research Institute. The entrance is located at the back of the tower.

Complete the In Search Of Lost Time: South, West, and North and it will automatically be unlocked.

In Search of Lost Time: South Walkthrough Chart
- Talk to to Broglie
Go underwater to the tower marked by the quest pointer and enter using using the window to find a machine.- Interact with the items in the room then head out of the building and dive down.
You will find a switch that opens the door to the tower for a short period of time. Attack it and rush to the door.
Activate the mechanism and transfer the energy from one terminal to another. 
Aim here to change your POV.
Aim to the highest button to change your point of view once again.
Aim to the mechanism below the bookshelf.
Gather the energy from the Blue Terminal by aiming and using the Skill button.
Return to the point of view where you can see the Red Terminal and transfer the energy there using the Skill button.- Head to the opened entrance and operate the console.
- Give the collected item to Broglie.
In Search Of Lost Time: West Walkthrough Chart
- Go inside to the tall tower in Mount Esus East.
- Go inside and defeat all the Fatui enemies inside.
- Continue to go upstairs until you reach the topmost that is locked.
Go outside the tower and search for clues.
└ The clue can be found on the camp outside, located on the left side of the tower.
Defeat the Fatui agents in the campsite, then approach and read the clue above the wooden crate.
Go to the campsite, on the other side of the tower and then hit the boiling pot.
└ After hitting the pot, the Fatui Agents will appear. Defeat them all.- After defeating the Fatui agents, go to the top of the tower.
- Activate the machine to unlock the top room
└ How to activate & unlock the top room? - Go to the top and interact with the Research Terminal by pulling the lever.
How To Activate The Machine To Unlock The Top Room?
You can unlock the top room by activating the machine. You just need to hit activate, then wait for the ring to move on where the light is, and then hit it at the right time using Barbara.
In Search Of Lost Time: North Walkthrough Chart
- Go to the tower on the north side of the New Fontaine Research Institute.
- Enter the tower at the back.
- Go down to the first basement, then you need to activate the Energy Transfer Terminal.
└ How to activate the Energy Transfer Terminal? - Go down to the second basement, then defeat the Fatui agents.
Pick up the uncharged terminal 
Place the terminal in the first basement to charge it
Once it is charged, go to the ground level, then place it in front of the Energy Transfer Terminal to activate and unlock the door on the top.
Pick up the terminal, then go to the top, and activate the machine
└ How to activate & unlock the top room?- Go to the top and then pull the lever of the machine.
How To Activate The Energy Transfer Terminal?
You need to activate the terminal in order to unlock the second basement. You can check the table below to see how to unlock it.

How To Activate & Unlock The Top Room?
After placing the terminal beside the mechanism, you may start/activate the machine and wait for the right timing, then hit the machine once the ring moves to where the light is.
In Search Of Lost Time (Last) Walkthrough Chart
- Go to the New Fontaine Research Institute and find Broglie.
Go to the Central Processing Station.
Go inside the tower.- Go down to the basement.
Pick up the terminal that is above the cabinet. Then charged it.
Then put it beside the locked Energy Transfer Terminal to unlock the window.- Go out to the window and unlock the main door that is submerged underwater.
Unlock the door using the Energy Transfer Terminal.- Go and swim above and then defeat the Fatui agent.
└ The Fatui Angent will escape and lock the main door. You can go up again then exit on the window to follow the fatui. - Once you reach the surface, you will be facing more fatui agents. Defeat the 2 fatui agents upon ascending.
