To unlock Kinich's Story Quest, you need to use story keys. You can obtain Story Keys by doing daily commissions and keep a maximum amount of 3 keys. You can unlock the story by heading to the Quest page of Menu.

Kinich's story quest will start at the Ameyalco Waters, in the People of the Springs area. You can check the image above for reference.
Act 1 Walkthrough Chart
- Talk to Huni to start the quest
- Find the missing baby Saurians

└ Use a Yumkasaur to grapple on certain areas - Go back to Huni and Toba

Act 2 Walkthrough Chart
- Talk to Trinidad at the Scions of the Canopy - Reputation area
- Go above the Tetecpac Peak
- Go to the camp near the river
- Use the Yumkasaur and get a Flamegranate to Ignite the six (6) Braziers
└ There will be enemies in the area guarding the torch. Defeat them then ignite the braziers - Talk to Trinidad after lighting all the braziers

Act 3 Walkthrough Chart
- Go to the designated starting location, in the Scions of the Canopy - Reputation area, and talk to Kinich
- Go to Trinidad
- Go back to Kinich and talk to Wayna
- Go meet Kinich again
- Adjust the in-game time from 8:00 - 12:00 (the next day)
- Talk to Toba and Huni
- Go to the top of Teticpac Peak, and go to the northeast side, look for the ruin with mural
└ Defeat the Rifthounds - Go to the designated spot and take a photo of the mural
- Go back to Thiago
- Go back to the Scions of the Canopy
- Chase Matthias
└ Use the Yumkasaur for the fastest way to chase him - Go back to Kinich
- Adjust the in-game time from 8:00 - 12:00
- Go to the mid-level of the Teticpac Peak
└ Defeat the Rifthounds
- Adjust the in-game time from 8:00 - 12:00 (the next day)
- Go back to Trinidad
└ Note: During the Turnfire Night Ritual changing characters will be disabled so make sure to equip a Pyro before starting the ritual - Go to the Altar and obtain the Kindling of the Sacred Flame
- Use the Yumkasaur to fire the torches
└ Just follow the fire light since it will guide you to the next torch to light up - Follow the fire light to the ground
- Cleanse all the braziers using the Yumkasaur and the Flamegranate
└ How to cleanse the braziers - Go to the Mountain King's resting area using the Yumkasaur
└ Follow the fire light to light up the torches - After the cut scene you will start a combat with the Mountain King
- Defeat the Mountain King
- After the cut scene, go back to Wayna
- Go meet up with Kinich
How To Cleanse The Braziers?
To cleanse the torch and braziers, you will need to use a Yumkasaur, get a Flamegranate, and shoot the torches to cleanse them. You can check the video above for reference. Once you cleanse the brazier, it will automatically light up.

Kinich's Story Quest: will be under the Tribal Chronicles which will be unlocked once players have completed the Archon Quest Chapter 5 Act 2: Black Stone Under A White Stone. It was released on August 17, 2024
