There is a Ruin Guard that is guarding the entrance to the room. Defeat it to open the entrance.

Look For Corporal Nikolay's Diary
Once you get inside the room, there is Corporal Nikolay's Diary at the left side. Interact with it to get the Bloodied Sergeant's Insignia then go back to Katarina.

Once you got back to Katarina, hand over the clues that you found. That completes the world quest.
